Lorenzo Fertitta cornerback

Lorenzo Fertitta was the lone White defensive back in the Semper Fidelis All-American high school game last night. according to the announcers, he has incredible cover skills and speed (5-foot-9, 160 pounds).

he was the ONLY player in the game who is committed to an FCS program. he's going to Villanova. so, not a SINGLE Division One program wanted one of the elite cornerback prospects in the nation. "weird," huh?

i don't know much else about him, and a quick Google didn't turn up much. his dad runs the UFC, and he's got a younger brother who is apparently very talented, too.

he's from Nevada, so maybe someone from out that way can fill us in.

I think Fertita was mentioned in the class of 2013 forum Chitwood. I thought he had an original offer from UNLV. I believe his father is the president of some MMA company but that is really not something I follow much of.

he was never offered by UNLV, though.
