He's been mentioned before on this site but it's time this young man has his own thread. Speedster from KY with sub 10.8 100meter speed and over 2,000yds receiving in his HS career. His team Southwestern is undefeated thus far into his SR. Season. The frustrating part? The fastest kid in Kentucky only has ONE offer from Fordham.

Someone should tell Vaught to go to a school where he has a reasonable chance of being a starter for multiple years. Don't just go to a school because it has a big name. If a guy goes to a big name school and stays on the bench the whole time, how does that help him get to the NFL? It doesn't.
Look at Cooper Kupp. Attends FCS Eastern Washington. Starts as a freshman at wide receiver. Breaks fcs records for freshman receivers. If Cooper had attended a big name school, his butt would have been on the bench.

Another example is Adam Thielen. Went to division 2 Minnesota Mankato. And played. Thielen knew he could play. How? Because he was on the field actually playing. Not sitting on the bench behind other players the coaches believe are superior athletes.

If Fordham believes in him and will start him at wide receiver in his freshman or sophomore season, then he should go to Fordham. Or some other school like Fordham that believes in his athletic ability.

Agreed. It would be quite the culture change going from KY to The Bronx NY, but after a quick scan over Fordham's roster it looks like he'd have the opportunity to contribute right away. As his Season progresses let's hope a few more offers trickle in so he can at least have a choice about where he's headed.

This **** has got to be used the right way to inspire and motivate “us!” There must be a way to rally folks in the right manner and step up. I know my three sons are woke!

It’s crazy how these big time athletes land at tiny schools like that. I was a high school 2nd stringer and JV star and I was given the opportunity to play at a few D3 and NAIA schools. Also one D2 school. JP Vaught should at least be playing at a FCS school, but you never know, maybe that’s what he wanted to do.
