i thought he deserves his own thread. one of the best defensive ends in the league, he's not only a premiere pass rusher but also a good vs the run. he's only 25, and already is in his 4th season with 35.5 sacks to his name.

after missing first two games of the 2007 season, he showed just how good he is: league high 8 sacks!

He's good. Let's see if he can finish the season with the most sacks.

As much as I love Jared Allen, I think in terms of pure, unstoppable DE's rushing the passer, Kyle Vanden Bosch of the Titans is even better than Allen. This is a great season for white DE's, maybe the NFL will finally wise up. It's not likely, however, as teams will continue to draft black busts like Jarvous Moss.

Kyle is good, very good but last season (6.5) and so far this season (3.0 sacks)are not as good as we could expect.
last year was very good for white DEs, Kampman and Schobel all had huge seasons, finishedsecond and third in the NFL in sacks while Smith, Allen and Vanden Bosch were all solid.
this season is going well for Jared, Aaron Kampman and several others are also putting solid numbers. but i don't know if it's going to be any better than last season's 2 out of 3 leading sack masters.

Jared was chosen AFC player of the Month for October!

"Allen notched 16 tackles, six sacks and one forced fumble as he helped the Chiefs to earn a share of first place in the AFC West. The four-year pro had 2 1/2 sacks in Kansas City's 27-20 victory over Cincinnati on October 14.

Allen's eight sacks lead the AFC and rank second in the league as he earned his first career Player of the Month award."

Allen is younger, and had more of a potential. i'd pick him over any other DE in the league.

Jared Allen is the best player the Chiefs have. He got a lot of bad press here in KC for his DUI arrest when some of his teammates have done much worse. I don't think that's right at all.

Do you guys remember a few years back when several Chiefs players got in trouble in the span of about a month before the season? You had players who were arrested for beating women and fighting with cops, but the local media spent much of their time focusing on then kicker Lawrence Tynes, who was arrested for a bar fight. Imagine that.

Jared Allen has been traded from the Bears to the Panthers for a 6th round draft pick. Good deal for the Panthers.

Since the Bears are picking up almost his entire salary you wonder why some contending team didn't offer more for him. Is it because he's white?

Since his rookie year in 2004, Allen has more sacks than any other player, with 134. He's been a great player.

If Allen was black he'd have gotten a lot more recognition than he has. It's a similar situation to Kevin Greene, one of the NFL's all time sack leaders.

Greene had more sacks than Lawrence Taylor and was a better player but Taylor is the one that got all the accolades. That's because Greene was white and Taylor was black and the mainstream media is black supremacist and anti-white.

Jared Allen has called it a career in true Jared Allen form:

Allen was one of my favorite players and one of the more enjoyable personalities the league has had. He was easily one of the most dominant pass rushers of the the past decade and should be a viable hall of fame candidate. Allen exemplifies the caste system as if I recall he was drafted to be a long snapper and part time defensive player - he ended up absolutley demolishing the league for 12 seasons and ends with 136 sacks.

Thanks to Jared Allen for proving the weenie jock sniffing draftniks and experts totally wrong during the course of his career!

Loved that guy. I enjoyed how he proved every naysayer wrong a thousand times over. I will miss seeing him tear things up on Sundays.
