Hey, I'm doing a poll because I'm just curious.

My feelings are 40/60: Some say Manny had won others think Mayweather had won. I watched the fight 3 times and my feelings is that Manny had won with his aggression, powerful punches and combination , although I also partially felt maybe Mayweather had won it with points but with a unimpressive and underwhelming victory. Although I still think Manny had won it slightly for me.

Mayweather

The reason I think Mayweather had won: He was controlling the fight, and possibly landed more punches. At least the judges and many who watched the match agrees. And maybe he really did evaded Pacquiao punches.

The reason I think he lose: He was hugging, head-locking Manny way too much, including making several dirty cheapshots. He should have had points deducted for that. Also he runned away way too much and clearly didn't want to go with toe-to-toe confrontation in most of the time. His tactic was like a point winning, hardly a fight. Many boxing world champion and viewers also agrees his tactic was boring, cowardly, undeserving.

Manny Pacquiao

I think Manny Pacquiao won: Because he was the aggressor, he landed more powerful punches, basically cornering him in all fours everywhere, more combination and more technical. I actually felt he landed more but I don't know if I'm correct. There's so many people who seems to agree he won including the undisputed world champion Evander Holyfield and other boxing champion.

The reason I think he lose: The stats showed he landed less and threw less punches than Mayweather according to the judges and is not just some him but some other boxing champion agrees too.

The only problem I have scoring the fight is trying to watch it all at once without falling asleep. I can't do it. I think they both lost, but not officially scoring it i thought it was snoozingly close with a an edge to Manny for at least kind of hurting Mayweather a couple of times.

Skip Bayless makes some good points on why he had Manny winning. Among the best is that there is hardly a round that Mayweather clearly won like Manny won the 4th, 6th, and 12th rounds clearly.

My thoughs exactly. Manny definitely won in 4th and 6th, I though those 2 rounds alone were enough to beat Mayweather. I felt that psychological advantage for because because of those 2 rounds, I though Manny would have been the winner. All the rest of the rounds seems more or less like like a draw to me, there wasn't such a signficant difference at all. Overall I had Manny winning 7 or 8 rounds.

I don't know about the 12th round, I felt mayweather was running too much and Pacman had to chase him everywhere. Is disgusting how a boxer can run away like that, they should have had points deducted.

THe entire Mayweather machine has existed to make up for the dominance of White fighters in higher weight classes. The boxing establishment in amerika is a fraud. The last 15 years has been OWNED by White men. Mayweather IS the most skilled black amerika has, so they have manufactured his career to the point it is now. They saw he had a chance to catch Marcianos stellar record, and he has been helped along the way by every ref, and every judge.

I re-watched the 1st bout with Miadana the other day, and there is NO WAY that Mayweather won that fight. MIadana clearly won the first 6 rounds. Floyd won 7, and 9, and possibly 10, but nothing else. The judges always have a ridiculously wide margin for Floyd as if he just dominated.

Mayweather is the biggest black eye in the world of boxing. He is very skilled, but he has had the easiest road of any champion ever.

I'm not going to say Mayweather did not get help from judges, I kinda think he did. But I think it's kinda delusional if you think boxing was owned by white men in last 15 years. What about all those countless of Mexicans, Blacks, Asians, Mix race fighters who become world champion many times?

What about Muhammad Ali? who is considered the world greatest boxer of all time. What about Mike tyson and Evander Holy-field being the best during their eras. What about other Black boxers, Asian boxers, Mexican boxers being promoted as some of the best ever by white American reviewers?

Look at the list of current world boxing champions. You would see flags from Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Mexico, Philippines, Dominican republic, Venezuela, Peru and other meztizo countries dominating 80% of the world titles.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying there is no white fighter who can beat Floyd Mayweather. But it's a fact currently the undefeated world champion belongs to a black guy even though I think he uses a dirty and low class style of fighting but so did many great white fighters, he was accepted by white judges. I don't know why.

The only race I can agree that are extremely weak for boxing and fighting are people from South Asia, Middle east, North Africa. I think these are super weak races. Look at the list of of world boxing champion in wikipedia from 2004 to 2015 and you find any flags from hese countries.

I don't know why but these countries produce so very few world champions, the only one they got is Amir Khan who is not even that great of boxer and doesn't deserve to be in the same level as Manny and Floyd. Amir Khan is a rubbish boxer in my opinion and doesn't impresses me that much. He had no right to call the Manny-Floyd fight easy work, this hook nose moron thinks he can beat Floyd with all his rubbish talking.

Is kinda funny that even India's best known and greatest boxer happen to be some India women of East Asian women called " Mary Kom" She is a five-time world amateur boxing champion " ranking no.4 in the world. It says a lot about these races.

Mayweather won pretty easily, 8-4.

So than why did undisputed world champion Evander Holyfield said Pac won? why did Shane Mosley ( another world champion ) said Pac won. Why did Skip baseless and Robert said Pac won?

Maybe if you didn't say won pretty easily. If you had said slightly than I might agree.

I had it 8-4 Mayweather as well. Personally I think Pac is very overrated.

But than why did 67% out of a 178,000 people voted Pacman won the fight? and only 31% said Mayweather won?

I just don't get it at all now that I watched the match again. I agree with 100% with Skip and Evander Holyfield that Pac won. But than again maybe I'm just not a good boxing judger. I felt Manny dominated, I don't understand how Mayweather won more rounds. He doesn't seem to be doing much at all.

Don't they have analysts who actually count the punches after fights?

What does the punch count say?

Eurasian Fan, as for your comments that Middle Easterners, South Asians, and North Africans are "the weakest race":

Well you've obviously never seen any of Naseem Hamed's fights. Naz is probably the hardest hitter of all time at featherweight and he was a world champion for several years in the late 90 ' s before retiring in 2001. He was also known as being very popular right up there with Lewis, Calzaghe, and Hatton.

Naz scored many vicious knockouts over Negroes, Whites, and Asians/Hispanics. He certainly had a very high KO % for a world champ. His KO over American Negro Kevin Kelley being perhaps the most memorable on HBO. Naz was very popular and fought on HBO numerous times. Only suffered 1 loss in his career, a decision to Barrera.

Naz is 100% Middle Eastern from Yemen.

Of course there are other examples of successful boxers from that part of the world, Amir Khan (who looked tremendous in decision over Negro Alexander in his last fight) being most notable.

Artur Beterbiev, like many Chechnyans and clearly has some Middle Eastern features. He is doing very well right now and looks to be another Kovalev in the making.

Those punch stats are so obviously just lies in every Mayweather bout. For that matter those punch stats are lies in just about EVERY bout where a black fights a non black. Ive re watched several fights over the years because I felt like the punch stats were way off, and sure enough they were. I think Mayweather won a close decision, but its just a bold face lie that he THREW more punches than Pac.

I had it 7 to 5 Mayweather. I see a rematch a year and half down the road. May weather will be 40 yrs old. Pacman 38. Pretty sure they will not be charging 100.00 for PPV though.

I scored the fight a draw. i have no problem with Mayweather gtting the decision. To be honest, aaprt from a Mayweather loss, next was the next best result for us. It was a complete joke for the casuals, which got brough back to life the week after in contrast to the Ginger man Canelo sparking out the black james kirkland in spectacular fashion.

The vid, already has almost 2 million views in less than a week :)

I totally agree with you on the punch stats. They make it sound scientific by using the word "stat", as if if there were some type of infallible cyborg applying statistical analysis to the fighter's every move. The stats are put up there by (likely) white-hating jewish trolls serving the agenda. Not only Mayweather, but literally every single black fighter - when fighting a non-black - will dominate the punch-stat numbers. Every single time, even when the black fighter has been getting his ass handed to him. Mayweather did win a close decision, but that's only because boxing today allows black fighters to run and grab, calling it fantastic defensive work. Anyone else of a lighter persuasion who tries the same will get warnings, points deducted, you name it.
