High school football on Fox

Springdale, AR will take on Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian on Saturday at 2:00 local time on Fox sports Net. i know nothing about the LA school, except they're a highly ranked private school.


Springdale, meanwhile, along with being nationally ranked, has five Division I recruits, four of whom are white(2 wideouts-Andrew Norman, damian williams-the black kid, a tight end-Ben Cleveland, an o-lineman-Bartley Webb, and the #2 rated QB nationally-Mitch Mustain) already committed to prestigious schools: 2 to Florida, 2 to Arkansas, and one to Notre Dame. they also have arguably the best cover guy in the state, a white corner named Russ Greenlee who has yet to be offered (you figure out why).


should be an interesting game to watch...

Jimmy, Evangel is a private school, but they play in a Louisiana public school district against some tough teams. They have been good for a long time, and have produced some unreal D1 talent. This should be a good game. I saw Evangel get beat by De Lasalle either last year or the year before. They have gone down some since their QB left early for USC. Where is the game being played?

That would be worth seeing, no doubt! I would recommend to anyone who is in the area to go see that game. They will either play on Evangel's campus or Independence Stadium, both are just off I-20 in Shreveport. If you haven't been to an Evangel game, you are missing a treat, at least thats how it was from 93-97 when I used to go to their games.

That's right Colonel Reb. Isn't Evangel where Brock Berlin came from before going to Florida then to Miami?

But they are having Hell in Arkansas. Mitch Mustain, the number one collge draft choice in the nation, who announced he will play for the Razorbacks next season is now reconsidering and says he might play for Tenn. If he backs out word is the entire Razorback coaching staff will be fired!
