I wonder how many of my white brothers share the enjoyment I get from a goodXbox, or Playstation sports game. I was born in 84 so I grew up in the genaration of video gameheads. I had a Nintindo, a Sega, a Playstation, a Dreamcast, and now, an Xbox 360. In the few years since I have been forced to accept the reality of the American Caste System, I can look back and see that it has been in sports video games as well. I dont know how popular video games arewith CasteFootballers, and apologize if its wasting time postng this.
The point is that my 16 year old cousin stayed the last few days at our house, and he brought Fight Night Round 3, for the 360. I enjoyed getting the hang of it, and in time could beat my young cuz in every bout. Mainly becausehe dosent understand boxing, and goes for KOs with every punch.I love my cousin, but he is no different than I was at 16. Wiggerd out, Pro- Evil Whitey, oppressed Black victum mindset. Too much gangsta rap! I could not get him to fight me with a whte fighter. He is so brainwashed that he wouldnt use one. Only Ali, or Hopkins, or Jones Jr, or Suga Ray Robinson, or Marvin Hagler, or Jeff Lacy, or James Tony were good enough for my young cuz to take into battle against me. He hates Pavlik, and didnt even know who Calzage or Abraham were, none of the 3 were on the game.
In fact, the white fighters on the game are few. Ricky Hatton, Arturo Gatti, Mickey Ward, andJake Lamotta. On the other hand, there are plenty of bruvas to choose from.
But, the BIGGEST point to this post is that looking at the characters skill attributes, one would think that blacks are better boxers! That is,if the gameIS indeedattempting to recreate a realisticboxing simulation, between two accurate character models, one would come to that conclusion, based on this game. Which is exactly what has happend to my 16 year old,thick skulledcousin.
For instance: Punching Power, maybe the most important attribute in boxing. These fighters are endowed with these power attributes.:Middleweight:: Bernard Hopkins 70, Jermaine Taylor 70,Winky Wright 72,Ray Robinson 75, Roy Jones 75, Marvin Hagler 77, DeLaHoya 65, Raburto Duran 67. Welterweight:: Ray Robinson 70, DeLaHoya 65, Duran 65, Ricky Hatton 67, Arturo Gatti57, Mickey Ward 62. There are no white Hvy weights, ligt Hevys, orfeatherweights.
Twodisgusting aspects of this game strike me as equaly wrong.One is thatit features Legends such as Ali, Frasier, Holyfeild, Jones Jr, Marvin Hagler, bolth Suger Rays Leonard and Robinson, but no Marciano, Jack Dempsey, WilliePep, Joe Calzge,Kelly Pavlik, orat least oneof the Klitschko brothers. The other is that the white fighters on the game are notas good as they really are. Where as James Tony, and Jermaine Taylor are grossly better than their real life counterpart. Allow me to demonstrate.
My favorite fighter on the gameis Ricky Hatton. When I chose him, my cuz would choose Ray Leonard, or Ray Robinson. Hattons speed rating, whichcontrols punching, blocking, and bob-weave quickness, is 80. Leonards is 90,and Robinsons is 85. Is Ricky Hatton really that much slower than these 2 superior black fighters? In fact, Hatton is rated lower than bolth Suger Rays in most every attribute.Were they reallyTHAT much better than Ricky? The other guy I used some was Jake Raging Bull Lamota. While he has the highest power rating of the middleweights,80, his speed, agility, and cuts are so low that he is hard to get a win with. You gotta go for the KO.Speaking of the cuts attribute, the white fighters make up the games lowest rated. After a round or two I was bleeding badly from just a few good licks every time. On the other side of that coin, I beat the face of Marvin Hagler for ten rounds and he NEVER sprung a leak. I landed a total of 1077 punches in a ten round bout, using Arturo Gatti, versus Ray Robinson, and he never bleed. I was bleeding from the 3rd round on, while avoiding most of his punches. He had hit me 412 times. Was black Ray Robinsons skinTHAT much tougher than the white skin of Gatti. It reminds me of theMadden game, where Matt Jones speed rating was ten points lower than Mike Vicks.
So I guess Im just aggravated that my little cousin, who I love,has bought the lie of black afflete superiority
. He says I have become a racist, because I wouldnt fight him with a black boxer. He says that Castefootball is a racist site, for failed athletes like me to vent our frustration, and make excuses. When I showed him Calzages highlights, he got mad at me! Said he knows a black kid at his Ghetto ass school who would beat him.
