Caste Football, RIP

I've decided to pull the plug on Caste Football.

This isn't a hasty decision but one I've been mulling for some time now. I see no way out of the long decline of CF, though the current environment we're operating in with the "pandemic" hasn't helped.

Most of the CF sports forums are dead or close to it and have been for some time; we've had precious few new posters in the past several years who seem dedicated enough to the site to make an effort to post regularly, and most of the veterans who still post do so at a tiny fraction of their former involvement.

This isn't an easy decision and my intent is not to disappoint anyone. I'm going to keep the forum online for a while, with my hope being that someone (or maybe more than one of you) will step up and start a new forum (or some other way) to cover this always relevant and extremely important topic.

I believe in my heart and soul that we've made a difference in opening some minds when it comes to the "systemic" and unconscionable racism White athletes face, and quite frankly I can't think of any other area of society over the past couple of generations where this holds true as far as White advancement. It's an accomplishment that can never be taken away from us. But Caste Football is currently in a sad way and has reached its expiration date as far as what I can do.

Hopefully some new blood will be able to find ways to bring in other new blood and reinvigorate older blood to be more active. As for me, it's time to step away. My best regards to all who have supported Caste Football over the years.

All I can say Don is "Thank You". I'm very disappointed of course but can certainly understand the demands and frustrations of running the site. As a former lurker then participant, albeit, inconsistent, it was rewarding and validating to see that I wasn't the only one who realized the many hypocrisies and blatant racism/ double standards pushed on us by mass media, corrupt politicians and corporations. I sincerely appreciate your efforts and wish you the best in whatever, wherever your future pursuits take you. I'm hopeful that some new blood, energy will fill the void that Caste Football addressed

Wow this is some sad news. I hope there’s a way that some of us regulars can find a way to keep up. The amount of players I wouldn’t know about without this site would be huge! Big thanks to everyone who welcomed me in 3 years ago when I first joined and wanted to be a contributor to this forum.

The most similar site I can think of is werewolf's boxing forum but white advocates who are not defeatist on sports are a sporadic, but not small group, even though many white advocates now realize the importance of the physical/masculine realm and the warfare against whites in that area you always get the nerds and Sailerite blogger/HBD types who would like to project their inadequacies on their race and are a powerful sect on the right, though I wouldn't be surprised if today more people with white advocate views eschew the myth of white athletic inferiority than embrace it. Progress has been made on that front even in the last few years.

I hope this site can be continued or moved to somewhere, I have linked this place elsewhere before.

I'm sorry to hear this. Caste Football has been a great site for a long time. I think it's done a lot of good in waking people up about whites in sports.

I think the totalitarian tech companies are in a large part responsible for fewer posters here because they effectively blacklist sites such as this. It's hard to find them in searches. These people are against human rights and are very bad, evil people.

I want to thank Don Wassall for starting and maintaining this site for so many years. I learned a lot here and was glad to have like minded friends to discuss things with.

There are other good sites we can go to such as Amren and Stormfront, but they don't specifically talk about sports. Another site you might want to check out is Chessgames.com. The player's page for the player Kenneth Rogoff has become a de facto political page on Chessgames.com where you can express pretty much any opinion you want. You are allowed freedom of speech on this site. There are a lot of liberals who post there too, so you can oppose what they say.

Hopefully some last minute event will change things and Caste Football will continue. But if not goodbye to everyone here.

I hope Don will give us an exact time when he plans to pull the plug, for example midnight on such and such a date. That way we won't be vainly searching for Caste Football, not knowing for sure if it's gone yet.

I, for one, intend to keep reading and posting here to the very end.

I don't know what the time commitment is for a volunteer site is but it's logical to me that White Lightning should step up and become the "owner" of the site. He is the number 1 and has been on the site nearly as much as Don has, the transition should be seamless.

Wow - talk about a gut punch. I understand where you are coming from @Don Wassall and I want to say thanks for giving me a forum to connect with other like minded individuals. I share your frustration in trying to grow the site and gain more members. It pains me to see how many great contributors to this site have come and gone over the years just disappear and never be heard from again.

I have tried my best to link this site when I comment on stories on other sports sites. There is nothing like Castefootball online and I have been coming here for 14 or 15 years now. It will be tough to not be able to come here and
commiserate with all of the great forum members and celebrate great athletic achievements by white athletes. I guess from here on out it will just be an internal struggle I deal with.

Also, just wanted to say thanks and recognize many fellow posters I have felt a kinship with over the years @Bucky (celticdb15) , @Freethinker, @Shadowlight (I love your rants, opinions and views on sports - always entertaining and enlightening my friend), @Extra Point ("lurkers take note" - always appreciated how you would call out the hypocrisy), @Carolina Speed (thanks for sharing your personal experiences with both your health and what your son has had to deal with) to name a few, @Claimjumper (always willing to do mediocre/obscure teams when helping out with the college writeups lol) @TwentyTwo (great all around contributor!) I also miss and want to thank some of the posters who have disappeared over the years - Col. Reb, Jacklambert, Phall, Heretic, Truthteller to name a few.

I do hope you let us know when you finally pull the plug. Maybe we can move over to reddit. I will explore other options to try to keep CF going in some way or another - fellow members PM me if you are interested. I can't personally host any type of site but we may be able to find an alternative. Also, there is so much information on this site - historical info - the college football write-ups, NFL draft etc.

Once again I just want to extend my deepest gratitude to Don. This site has really opened my eyes to not just what is going on in sports but what is happening all over western civilization. Thanks for the red-pill!

I will investigate other options and present them to everyone. We need a censorship free platform and I want to do our best to keep us all together. I do worry about losing all of the important data collected over the years. We do things here that are done no where else. We identified the 25% cap on white players in the NFL draft and the decade plus work of the college writeups is all original work done by this forum only. It would be a shame to lose all of this info.

Yeah it’ll suck if everything from this site is removed. As one of the younger posters I love going back in the archives and seeing what you guys posted 10+ years ago and learning about the NFL and college football before I was a follower. I’ve learned a lot about the history of the game and our players from yalls knowledge.

Disappointing, for sure. This is the first place I go for sports news and interaction with like-minded men. There is no doubt in my mind that this site has been black-listed/shadow banned by Google. I remember the days when trolls would frequently register and start ****. I don’t think anyone can find this site through routine searches anymore.

www. 138cult.com is an MMA/chat site. It’s guys that were banned from other mma forums. It’s whacky and has all manner of opinions, topics etc. It is uncensored though and if all else fails we could have a sub-forum there.

Really, we need to have site like this, with the primary objective and focus, remaining as is.

I am not entirely surprised Don is hanging it up. Despite being impossible to replace I half assumed the sight would transition over to someone else behind the scenes? Echoing a post up above I figured white lightning with his enthusiasm and broad range of sports interests would be the logical successor.

If not him certainly stalwarts like Leonardfan ( thanks for the compliments) or Bucky possess the necessary leadership qualities to steer the ship.

I wouldn't even rule out a couple of other members taking over or a combination of people? I know essentially nothing about the technical aspects of running a site like this so I can't comment on any of the speculation brought forward here.

I took a hiatus from posting around the time the virus hit but I continued to read CF posts and take notes. Since that time I have actually increased my "research" on White athletes filling up notebooks with various things. It has long been a hobby of mine which I obviously enjoy. I will enthusiastically continue on in that vein no matter what happens to CF. But not having this site around won't be nearly as fun.

There are some smart sports enthusiasts on this site.

If the "storyline" doesn't continue I worry that, without the bouncer in the bar affect this site had on run amuck caste announcers, it might open the floodgates to those types again.

Funny when I saw Don's post the first thing that came to my mind was "my God how would I have found out about that gorgeous track and field athlete Alica Schmidt?" Typical me. The world is coming to an end and I have some chick on my mind.

Yes thanks Don, one guy on the Right I actually thought worthy of sending money to when the site needed a reboot. With CF gone my interest in sports will nosedive, I literally cannot stand to watch, read or listen to the girlish clique of sports media types that exist in the "mainstream."

I can only echo the sentiments expressed above. Don, thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating and maintaining this site which has meant much to many. This site is unique and a wealth of information on an important subject that transcends sports. I know that traffic must have been way down for the past six months as there has been little in sports to comment about, but this is about to change with football restarting. I haven’t posted much, but at the same time I stopped listening to sports talk radio for months. Don, please reconsider! In the alternative, please give us a pathway to move the site forward. I think most of us have no idea what goes into maintaining the site......financially and from a time commitment standpoint.

I am just looking over some options:

I think Reddit itself is out of the question as it has been revving up it's censorship. Gab.com would be the best viable alternative and it attracts alot of "red-pilled" folks like us and is rising in popularity due to Reddit/Twitter censorship. Another option in the same vein is Voat.co - Personally I do not care for the interface on Reddit and that same design is carried over to Gab and Voat. It seems very disorganized and jumbled. I personally enjoy the more classic forum design - everything is logically setup and easy to navigate.

Another option would be to create a new forum - it looks like their are some free options out there but again the issue with those would be storage, administration, censorship and dealing with Ads. I will take a look at some of these options to see if there is one that can at least provide minimal censorship, unlimited storage and ease of administration while allowing us to remain anonymous if we choose to do so.

I think to keep the site moving forward in some way, shape or form we need to figure out how to get it through the censorship of Google. Should we use the name Caste Football? Come up with a new name? How should we convey our message in a way to reach more red-pilled people out there - that is key. Maybe start ramping up social media presence on Gab/Bitchute to attract new potential members. Just some things for us to ponder.

A forum still seems to be the best way to go. But you need a hosting company that you can rely on, which is one reason I tried to tone down some of the posts and posters who came here with their own agenda. Total free speech pretty much doesn't exist on the internet anymore. But it's always like trying to herd cats, especially when everyone is anonymous, though overall most posters understood and followed the guidelines here, both written and unwritten.

All that needs to be done is to purchase a domain and forum software. The domain can be registered privately and no one needs to know the real name of the person who owns it, other than the PTB of course if interested. I would prefer it not be titled Caste Football if reincarnated.

If it's successful the odds are the person or persons behind it will be doxxed at some point, so keep that in mind. If I was starting Caste Football now I would not put my real name out there, as a lot has changed since 2004. I also used my real name because I published The Nationalist Times newspaper and ran the American Freedom Union organization, so I never thought twice about it. (BTW, The Nationalist Times recently went under after 35 years, which is another reason I'm ending CF. Although posters here weren't interested in The Nationalist Times, it was part and parcel of what I was trying to do as far as presenting an overall "big picture" of what's going on in America and around the world.)

I'm no techie, but software like we have currently is easy to administer. And the various software companies have their own forums to trade ideas and answer questions. Xenforo has been very smooth since switching to it over 4 1/2 years ago. Before that there was seemingly endless problems with CF being hacked, especially when it carried many articles in addition to the forum itself. I spent a lot of money having the site designed and redesigned a few times, but since the move to Xenforo the costs to run CF are very modest.

If someone steps up, there will be time to promote the new forum before CF goes offline, so many if not all of the posters here should help it get started. After that, there's the tough nut to crack of expanding the poster base. Google and Big Tech in general have pretty much starved CF to death due to ignoring and censoring us. There is always attrition on forums, and replacing those who leave with new posters is the key to having a successful and dynamic virtual meeting place.

I've thought about a possible name for a pro-white site about athletics. First I thought about "The White Athlete" but a site should do more than just talk about the athletes themselves. Covering social and economic issues and how they impact sports is an example.

So I came up with what I think is a pretty good name. "White Athletics." It's simple and it covers things pretty well. It's more general than "The White Athlete." You could look up the definition of "athletics" to see that it fits well.

Don prefers we do not use Caste Football, which is already established. White Athletics would would be more of an umbrella name that indicates that it covers all white sports, not just one.
