I really have not watched much football on any level this year but I wound up catching a game between powerhouse rivals , Massillon and Buchtel from Ohio where both teams seem to be at the top of the national rankings every year.
Massillon is probably a half white/black team where Buchtel looked to be about 95 % black.
I watched a wr/cb named Brody Tonn just fly all over the field. He just looked tremendous at corner back. I do not know how fast he is but he is really fluid and quick out of his breaks and has tremendous instincts in the air. He was also impressive at wr where he must have caught at least 5 deep balls where he was 3 yards open against Buchtel's black corners.
Coincidentally , Massillon's other corner was Gareon Conley who is black and is going to Michigan on a full-ride. I know this is nothing new to the caste system but this kid was just as impressive if not better than Conley and Buchtel was passing on every down because they fell behind early. I wonder if the exposure will get him some recruiting attention. Did anyone see the game?
