Another young prospect to keep an eye on: Braxton Berrios: Leesville Road, HS, Raleigh, N.C.

Has impressive and legit measurables as evidenced by winning the Overall MVP and Combine King at the NUC Ultimate 100 in Atlanta, Ga.,(FRESHMAN CLASS), Atlanta and the southeast was without a doubt the toughest area of the combine regionals in the entire U.S. No offense to the rest of the country, but if you look at the overall numbers, the most competive area is the southeast!

For Braxton to come out of this region as the MVP is very impressive, if ya'll know what I mean!

Ht: 5'9, Wt: 166, 4.54 forty, 4.21 shuttle, 9'2 BJ, 37.5 Vert. Jump, 29 reps 135lbs.

Does not have great size yet, but he would be ideal as a slot and could grow into an RB. He's listed as an Ath., though. Has some highlights on youtube, but not sure he got alot of action varsity wise, but expect him to make an impact in 2011!

Hey thanks EP for digging that post up from 2011. My son participated in that same combine although two years younger than Berrios, he did quite well placing in the top 5 RB's at just 15 years old at the time. He went on to be an all-state RB his junior year before suffering two knee injuries thus thwarting many D-1 scholarships, but he competed well against Berrios and others like former Steeler Ryan Switzer. Both Berrios and Switzer were at that NUC Combine in Atlanta. As I've said this is what it takes to get recognized. More white players have to get to these combines and go against the best.
Those were great times.
