I feel the need to expose commentator Bob Davie as the caste clown he is. When he was struggling coaching Notre Dame back in the day he went to the public that Notre Dame needed to recruit more " Athletes". Because Notre Dame has a higher educational purpose apparently Davie was trying to say ND needed the inner city ghetto dumb athlete. I have been following ND football as a kid and they actually gave up on recruiting white athletes after their last championship when they had cornerback Stan Smagala. Since that day Notre Dame didint recruit one white skill position player ever and all the way on inot the Bob Davie era. Isint it interesting since Davie left ND had players like Jeff Smardzjia, Matt Shelton, Chase Anastacio, John Goodman, Robby Toma, both McCarthy brithers, H. Smith, and Zeke Motta among a few. Notre Dame apparently got better when they recruited white athletes.<div>I caught a BC and Syracuse game last year and all Davie could complain about was that BC receivers could not get open against Syracuses DBS. Freshman receivers Bobby Swigert and Alex Amidon were apparently to slow and unathletic to get away from Syracuse corners. He must have complained about 4 or 5 times on it despite the fact that they were running short square in routes the entire game. Davie is such a caste dlown he didint realize that Amidon was averaging over 20 yards per catch and Swigerthas 4.4 speed and was their primary kick and punt returner. I guess all the athletic black guys just didint want to return kicks? lol This guy is an uber white hater and needs to be banned.</div>

Along with Bob Davie South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier is the ultimate caste clown. We all know how coal dark their team is now but I wanted to expose him for the racist he quite obvioulsy is.<div>I was doing some research on former USC rb Taylor Rank. In a summer camp practice Spurrier was qouted on the official USC website. He was talking about his 3 black rbs including Cody Davis and how he thought they would do that fall. When finally asked about Taylor Rank Spurrier was quoted saying " Well we all know he dosent look like a rb. " There was a pause from the reporters and then back tracked an said Rank was just as talented as any of his backs and he could wind up the starter. To me Rank was not that good but they only gave him straight up the gut types of carries.</div><div>For Spurrier to say " he dosent look like a rb". This is just insane. I really think about 85 % of coaches have this idiotic mentality. How do whites have a chance if they are judged by the color of their skin and not by the content of their character ( athleticism) ? </div><div>Theres been a lot of talk about if you want to change something you have to start from the ground up. I think we should start emailing and calling head coaches and letting them know what is up. I emailed an assistant head coach for Purdue over their recrutiment of BJ Knauf and his move to slot receiver which makes no sense. I wouldint have minded so much but when they had super athletic rb Dalton Crossan come in they told him he had to move to slot reciever as well. Hes better off not being offered there. Its amazing what pushovers are athletes are when dealing with coaches.</div>

mattharper,

you might want to check out this thread in the Media Racism and Stereotyping forum: Another ESPN Jerk

it details many similar incidents, and that location is a more fitting area for these kind of observations. just a suggestion, mate.

also, Taylor Rank was a talented back and had much better speed than the "real" running backs on the roster. sadly for him, he could never outrun that damn melanin deficiency he had that prevented him from being affletic.

That is a hilariously sad truth, JC!
