No surprise there. I expect Maryland to continue to flounder in the Big Ten. Locksley has an 8-43 career coaching record yet is viewed as a "players coach" and the coach to turn around the UMD program...laughable but when you are black you can do no wrong.

Lol and his son was arrested what a year or two ago on a gun charge. No wonder he's a "players coach" can't even discipline his own kid.

Since 2005, Maryland has started 4, 5, 5, 4, 4, 10, 8, 9, 8, 6, 7, 3, 4, 5 and 3 white players (excluding 2015 where there was no write-up). The drop down to 1 projected White starter for 2021.

Maryland's basketball program is 2 or 3 years removed from a white scholarship player, too.
They are one of Under Armor's flagship schools for uniforms/shoes. I know that this has cut them out of consideration for plenty of basketball recruits who take their bribes from their AAU sponsor - either Nike or Adidas. Football is not affected the same way, but I wonder if that has some effect on the end product. For example, if UA hosts camps in the area and invites a certain type of player, those players may just wind up as a "natural" fit to fill out the recruiting board.
