Dana Holgorsen will be feeling the hot seat if he can't win some games this year. It seems kind of strange that he'd leave West Virginia for the AAC, but Houston obviously has a big budget and is looking for a splash. They're also obviously fine to pay players, as the permanently disgruntled, professional combine trainee, and five-star bust Ed Oliver showed us. I felt like WVU would sneak a few palefaces onto the team, but maybe I just remember Owen Schmitt from 14 years ago. I have no idea what their campus looks like, but if I was a white player, there would be a few hundred other places I'd rather play.

Safety Garrison Vaughn started 5 games in 2019 and saw pretty much no playing time last season. I wonder if he will be a factor at all or if he has been put on the bench for good. He’s only a sophomore so I think he’ll become a starter again at some point in the future.
