Can anyone find a video of Andrew Robertsons bronze medal 10.14 race in the 2013 UK 100 Meters Finals? Please post it. Thanks. I would really like to analyze the race. What a huge breakthrough for the kid. Andrew works a job and trains himself as a sprinter. Can you imagine if this kid had proper funding and more time and energy to train. Not to mention working with the best trainers, coach, massause, dietician, etc. To run that fast on your own with only your dad to help with coaching you is pretty amazing. I hope this kid can find a way to continue chasing his olympic dreams.

Here is a short video interview from the indoor season after a race will he discussed his training situation and how he works a job on the side.

Still trying to find a video of Andrew Robertson setting a new personal best.

Greg Cackett has been fun to watch. He is built like a freight train. Very powerful runner and I can see him lowering all of his p.b. again next year as he is learning things and refining his technique.

Karol Zalewski has got me really excited about his potential. He is not even 20 yet. This 19 year old just ran a 20.41 into a slight negative wind and he did it against a very high quality european field or sprinters. He is very tall and he just eats up the track. The future of Polish Sprinting is looking better all of the time. Alot of good young sprinters rising up out of such a small country. Nice to see. I hope they continue to have Zalewski run both the 1000 & 200 because he has so much potential in both races.

Poland finished only 0.04 behind GB with Gemili, it was a good race, Spaniards pulled in 3rd. Zimniewicz looks promising!

Here's a copy of the race. Note the poor quality and it cuts off at the conclusion of the race....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4729lfdJB8

euro juniors will be hot hot hot

    From track and field news.

Bulgarian champion Denis Dimitrov will head to Rieti as favourite to follow Jimmy Vicaut as the European junior men's 100m gold medallist. The 19-year-old lowered his national junior record to 10.16 at the Bulgarian championships, a huge PB of more than half a second. Other young speedsters likely to be snapping at his heels are Ireland's Marcus Lawler, Zdenek Stromsik of the Czech Republic, and Denmark's Kristoffer Hari, who have all set national junior records this year.

Another youngster to watch in the near future is 16 year old Thomas Somers who recently ran a time of 20.82 wind legal in the 200. That is flying for his age. Hope he can continue to improve.

A bit of bad news. Kristoffer Hari pulled out of the 100 this weekend with a slight hamstring pull in practice. He may or may not run the 200 due to the injury. Such a shame as it might cost his a chance at a world youth 100 meters all time record. It will be alot tougher to do it before the summer ends with little competition to push him. Get better Kristoffer. I can't wait to see you run again.

    questions for track nerds

    When does Hari turn 16?

What is current 100 meter best for a 15 year old?

Maybe if he can rest hamstring, he'll still get a few more shots at it.

Kristoffer Hari doesn't turn 16 until December so he has time to break the record. He is .001 which is 1/100th of a second. So close to the world record that is why I'm a little disapointed he is not running against elite competition this weekend. I think he would have smashed the record. Can you imagine if he can get into the 10.20's as a 15 year old. That is unreal to even think about. He is good over both the 100 & 200 meters but it's the 100 record he trying to break. For those that are curious, he is currently 5'10 inches tall.

The testing is very strict in Denmark and Kristoffer has already been tested multiple times. He is clean and he is an incredible talent. I knew Christophe was special when I saw him run a 10.26 at 18 and he ran down nearly the whole field. I feel the same way about Kristoffer Hari!

BIG DIFFERENCE with Christophe is that his body is very developped (too much for his age ?), it's strange, he is only 16 years old this year !

    he's amazing on 100M and 200M, yes he's an incredible talent !

what are you suggesting there !!!!

what i have been saying all along that certain sprinters
have been doping since as young as 15/16 years of age .
a certain bolt comes to mind and hari has those shoulders .
same for lemaitre for that matter but not till 17 .
as for certain other fast juniors at moment .

it is a simple protocal to maximise amount of fast twitch muscle
in certain muscle groups that might never be possible later in life .
and then try to maintain into career through muscle memory ,training ,etc,
even if these muscle groups were never predisposed to high per centage of
this type of muscle .if you follow !!!

problem is that if not a fast twitch naturally will lose some as get older
so might lose some of that speed .
and why some sprinters like tumi come to mind that will never get the same
benefit from certain ped as another athlete that uses at later stage in career
that has this type of muscle like a chambers , collins or dasaolu .
tumi has missed this window of opportunity .

AND for the record your beloved vicaut is on the same SARM .
and pretty similar timescale as lemaitre
all his hard training is important but still comes down to this fact .

Not buying it...15 years old????? This guy is on something major...dont keep your hopes up for him. At best, he should get a sex change and compete as a woman, then he'd break the tainted records of Flo Jo....This is juiced to the gills. I call it like it is. This guy is no where near the level of talent or ever will be as Christophe Lemaitre - probably the only sprinter to be fully clean, white or black.

If you go to his facebook, he shows a copy of one of the many drug tests he has taken and passed. He also states that him and his family are sick of all the drug allegations when he has passed many tests.

He is innocent until proven guilty in my book. I know he is very vascular but they only do excercises with body weight. Let's give the kid the benefit of the doubt. That is also a very close up pic and it is after a race. In most pics he looks normal but in very good shape. He does not look over muscular in 95% of the pics I have seen. Again give the talk a rest. Respect his family.

When I was 15 I had a classmate that was an NHL hockey prospect he had the build of a steroid abuser too, this was in the mid 80's when hockey prospects never really lifted weights seriously. Some people have this build look at Primo Carnera if you saw him competing today in boxing you would think PED's he was clean. You would have to look at his build when he is around other athletes. PS any coach that would give any athlete who is 15 Sarms or other PED's needs to go jail, similar to a pimp who administers narcotics to an under age prostitute so that she earns him money on the street.....:focus:

ever see Arnold Schwarzenegger at 15? sometimes it just genetics. I find it hard to believe a 15 year old would be on PEDs. 17, 18 yeah, but 15?

I remember reading in Arnold Schwarzeneggers encyclopedia of bodybuilding that he distinctly remembers his body responding very very well to weightlifting when he started training. At an age like 15 I think it is just genetics, not PEDs. I couldn't say for sure, but I would assume using PEDs while the body is still growing and developing could be very very damaging to hormone levels and possibly permanently damage things.

the RCSMAN picture is an artistic picture, spotted by the top, that emplify his muscle look.

if you check a picture from him dated last May , you can see his not that musculed.

I really find weird RCSMAN always trolling the Thread on this forum. what is his goal by trying to convince us that this kid isn't clean?
