New Orleans and Seattle are playing right now with both Heath Evans and John Carlson having scored on receptions of 1 and 11 yards. Jeremy Shockey has one 5 yard catch so far, as does Brandon Stokley.

Later tonight, the Colts host the Jets. Hopefully Manning and his White receiving corps will have a great game and beat the Jets.

Tomorrow we have the Ravens at the Chiefs and the Packers traveling to the Eagles. I'd like to see the Packers have a big win tomorrow and end Vick's season on a down note.

I really hope Vick struggles tomorrow. QB Dog Killer isn't very good to begin with but he's somehow had a good season. Hopefully Clay Matthews sacks him a couple of times.

We made our threads at around the same time : ) I was wondering why there wasn't a playoff thread already.

This first game, Seattle vs New Orleans, has to be the least compelling playoff game ever. The other game today, Colts vs Jets at 8, should be a lot more interesting.

I was wondering the same thing, Anak. Usually it would have been started before now, but that's alright. It is really strange to be watching a playoff game with a 7-9 team in it. Just as I type this, Jeremy Shockey catches a 19 yard pass.

Yeah, I also thought it was bizarre when the 8-8 Chargers were in the playoffs over the 11-5 Patriots. But this is a team with a losing record.

Just goes to show how horrible some teams are in the NFL. Mike Hass should be playing for the Seahawks, hed put up better numbers than the other Mike

Looks like the Saints found a strategy from keeping Stokley from getting open underneath, holding him and pushing him to the ground.

Two TDs for John Carlson on the day already.

It's actually a close game right now, it's just that both teams are so blackened that I don't care who wins at all.Edited by: Anak

Looks like Pete Carroll artificially phased John Carlson out of the offense when he took over.

How ridiculous is it that a 7-9 team has homefield advantage over an 11-5 team?Edited by: Anak

Anak, Carlson has had to stay in and block more this season. The three sumos on the offensive line have a lot to do with that. Even Weenieworld acknowledges that Chris Spencer may be the worst starting center in the league.

Roman Harper being exposed for the fraud he is. All of these years Chris Reis shouldve been starting. Too bad hes injured. Maybe try Matt Giordano if they were smart, then again if they were smart Heath Evans would be utilized at halfback.

if Carlson were black they wouldve found a blocking tight end to stay in and block so he could be used more in the passing game. Notice how hes being used more that there is more to lose in this game.

That does look intentional phasing out of Carlson, Anak. Its nice to see him get a couple of scores today. It isn't often you see White men doing a lot of scoring for these teams. It would really be cool to see Heath Evans run the ball some, but Sean Payton would bring in some overweight scrubs before he'd do that.

Stokley with the 45 yard TD pass! All 3 of Seattle's scores were made by White men.

Did it say that was Hasselback's first 40 yard completion made in the playoffs?Edited by: Anak

Even with two of the blacker teams in the league playing, Whites are dominant thus far, with two excellent quarterbacks dissecting the defenses and Whites scoring four of the five TDs.

The Saint's darkies are getting awfully ornery. That one should have been given an unsportsmanlike penalty for pushing down the White player that was trying to get back up, and then standing over him.

Perhaps the Saints could have gave Heath Evans the opportunity to gain that first down? They certainly deserve to lose for handicapping themselves just to retain the appropriate melanin levels at the skill positions.Edited by: Anak

I won't mind if Seattle wins in this battle of two pretty black teams. Don't want to see the Saints repeat because they're too black; Seattle is too but at least they have Stokley, Carlson and Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck has been the victim of a bad, sumo-dominated line the past several years that has caused his performance level to go down and also has caused him to be beat up physically. He's pretty much been written off as finished but he's only 35,practically ancientfor a black quarterback but not a White one. Edited by: Don Wassall

The Saints deserve to lose by refusing to use Heath Evans when Julius Jones has cost them several drives. And why not use David Thomas and Shockey more in the passing game?

I think the Saints' are stupid for a number of reasons:

1--Ridiculous contract to Jahri Evans

2--Elevating the histrionic-prone Jimmy Graham

3--Not using Jeff Charleston much

4--Having Bushrod as a starting left tackle

5--Selecting Patrick Robinson as the last pick of the first round.... simply because he went to "Florida State."

Is Carlson hurt or something? I haven't seen him involved in the second half.

I believe the reason is that the negrophile Pete Caroll realized that he would rather lose with his blacks than win by using the likes of John Carlson and Brandon Stokley too much.

Well, that's what happens when an entire defense tries to strip the ball out rather than a single one of them just tackling the ball carrier.
