It appears Woodhead could go to St. Louis as the final pick.

The easy part is over, all picks are updated and accounted for on post #1 of this thread. Please post any undrafted FA signings you may come across of white players in this thread and I'll keep that first post updated.

The most ghetto team of the draft. 100% moolie!

The Glazers just can't help themselves.

It's better to be a free agent then a back of the pack free agent. As a free agent can choose which team he wants to try out for. Anyway things didn't look good for him when I saw Hart going in the 6th and Hillis going early in the 7th.

saints had an all black draft too :( but we only had 5 picks, i was hoping at least the trade with shockey would go through, a defensive tackle that means bryan young (white) might lose his starting job, hopefully its just hollis thomas that loses the starting job, and an offensive tackle, everybody on the saints boards are hoping he replaces the one white lineman we have, stinchcombEdited by: dwid

Rams drafted 5 whites, including 3 on D and two OL, not bad at all, 5 out of 8.

If the final numbers of 68 whites out of 252 total players is correct that may be a tiny improvement from last year, when according to one post there were 65 out of 255 taken. Also, it was refreshing to see that the Andre Woodson Dennis Dixon hype trains didn't stampede a team into picking them really high up in the draft.Could this be a year with no new black QB's cracking a starting lineup?

I think the biggest dissapointment of the draft was the Pats. The New England "brain trust" decided to pass on Dan Conner 3 times over, and traded away the pick that the Chargers used to draft Jacob Hester in the 3rd (after what happened with Weddle last season).

The ONLY bright spot in the Pats draft was LB Bo Ruud, who'll no doubt be a far superior LB to the undersized-hype-machine that is Mayo. Picking the QB O'Connell was a waste, as he could have been taken by a team that actually needs a QB (Bears, Vikings, Titans, Raiders).

It's almost like the most "daring" teams as far as being the least anti-white feel the need to reverse course lest the thought police start pointing fingers at them. Indianapolis is the only team that has been consistently semi-white friendly over time, and I'm sure it helps having Saint Tony Dungy as the head coach.

Hopefully the Patriots' on-field product will look much the same this year. Green Bay and San Diego continue to go the right direction. So does St. Louis, but they greatly underutilized Drew Bennett and Brian Leonard last year, and Adam Carriker would be a great end.

A little off topic(big surprise from me, aye?), but I want to give major kudos to the Lions for drafting Caleb Campbell! What I heard was that the Army would release him from his active duty status if he was drafted, If not he was going to Iraq.

I was really happy about the pick as a Lions fan. He will still be in the Army but he will be a recruiter for a couple years while he plays football. Edited by: jared

Jordy got picked earlier than I expected. Woodhead got snubbed yet they picked Ray Rice who is almost the same size. Woodhead has more speed than Rice. His size is not the reason he didnt get drafted.

Hillis must have bombed in interviews or had some troubling medical issue. There's really no other explanation for how he fell that far.
Sure there is. Peyton had the most vindictive coach in all of sports. Nuttjob undoubtedly badmouthed him to any NFL scouts who called for a reference. Hillis never got along very well with Nutt, and after he criticized Nutt's braindead play calling this last season, that ended their player/coach relationship permanently. And Nutt's posse is extremely aggressive when it comes to destroying any player who takes sides against him.

Just a little more information on this.
I didn't need any confirmation, since I know Nuttcase's personality very well. But this was posted a few hours ago by a reliable member of a Razorbacks message board:

"This is from an NFL scout who requests not to be named.

Nutt had nothing but good things to say about Jones and McFadden, but without being asked about Hillis, Nutt told them to that they wanted no part of Peyton Hillis b/c he was a "cancer" in the locker room, and that they had to sweep several of his off the field incedents under the rug."
*

After witnessing other such incidents over the past decade, I have no doubts about the validity of this report. Nutt's hitsquad continues to hound Mitch Mustain to this very day. It will never end for Peyton. Denver message boards will be bombarded by Nutt's thugs saying bad things about him and trying to turn the fanbase against him for as long as he is a member of that organization. And if he goes somewhere else, they'll follow him there, too.
