Since 2006 Notre Dame has started 11, 11, 10, 10, 11, 11, 9, 8, 6, 8, 8, 5, 9, 9, and 9. It looks like 9 and or sometimes 10 as they have FB Davis Sherwood listed as the starting FB.

Jack Coan is gone, so the QB responsibilities will go to junior Drew Pyne or sophomore Tyler Buchner. I believe Buchner is white, but could have a little Asian sprinkled in? Buchner is listed at number 1, but as of August 5th, the official opening week starter has not been determined. Junior TE Michael Mayer will continue to be a prime target. A very athletic and big target at 6'4, 265. Hopefully, they'll go to him a lot more this season as he should be a second or third round draft pick at worst when he decides to go to the NFL. With the exception of one, the rest of the OL is white.
The defense will start 3. DL Rylie Mills, LB's Jack Kiser and JD Bertrand
The offense could be interesting if graduate WR Matt Salerno could break into the starting lineup.

Offense-
QB's-Tyler Buchner, (SO) or Drew Pyne (JR)
FB- Davis Sherwood, (SO)
TE- Michael Mayer, (JR)
LT- Joe Alt (SO)
LG- Jarrett Patterson (GR)
OC- Zeke Correll (SR)
RG- Josh Lugg (GR)

Defense-
LB- JD Bertrand (SR)
LB- Jack Kiser (SR)
DL- Rylie Mills (JR)

Players to watch: WR/SL Matt Salerno, (GR) and LB Bo Bauer, (GR)

Michael Mayer caught 71 passes for 840 yards and 7 touchdowns. It will be great if he builds on those stats even further.

At least ND stays consistent with their lunch pail toting players.

Weird jewish sports journalist Bruce Feldman does an annual "freaks list" featuring college football's physical outliers. Although it's tangential to gay fetishism, he includes a fair amount of white athletes. Rylie Mills makes this year's list:

56. Rylie Mills, Notre Dame, defensive lineman
The 6-5, 292-pound former high school discus thrower and shot putter is a player to watch. Mills, who had three sacks in 2021, is really strong, having benched 420 this offseason, but also moves very well, clocking 19 mph on the GPS. Mills’ explosiveness also is reflected in his hang clean peak output of 2828 and his power clean peak output of 2,854 — both totals are higher than his super freaky linemate Isaiah Foskey (2,674, 2,696, respectively).

For anyone keeping track - Notre Dame names Buchner it’s starting qb and yahoo sports runs an article stating that Notre Dame names Korean American as starting QB. So yes it’s a different shade of White replacement.

Buchner surname is Korean huh? Another reason to dislike the yellow fever. Guys like Rapp and Buchner are seen as Asian, despite having yellow fevered father's.

Buchner out four months with a sprained shoulder. We shall see if Drew Pyne can rescue Marcus Freeman from his 0-3 tailspin.

Buchner sucks...I'm amazed that Freeman with his penchant for recruiting "talent" could not pick up on that. Even last year in limited playing time Buchner was nothing great. I hope Pyne can take advantage of this situation.
