All I hear is how next years qb class is elite and this year is garbage.
I’ll bet in 5-10 years it won’t be that statistically.
Pickett, Willis, Corral, Howell and Ridder
Vs
Young, Stroud, Rattler (Yes, he’s mentioned), Jurkovich and Richardson from FL

The top 5 this year vs the top 5 next year?
I wish Vegas had odds on this.
I’ll take this year. Throw 2021 Carson Strong and 2022 anyone (I saw Hartman on the list, who is gritty).....This isn’t a crap year vs next year, not at all.

Young is not 6 foot, not 200 lbs, not fast
Stroud is an OSU guy....When has that last translated?
Rattler got benched this year, transferred and still is on peoples’ top qb list
Jurkovich is a local Pittsburgh guy, good luck, nothing against him or any others.
I haven’t seen Richardson play, FL qbs are system guys usually.....

Just read that Young is in the transfer portal? WTactualF?
Doesn’t seem like a good move for him....??

A couple of guys to look out for in next years draft is Will Levis from Kentucky, and also Tyler Van Dyke from Miami (not sure if he's draft eligible) and also as you mentioned, Phil Jurcovec. It seems like every year, there's a black quarterback or two (or three) penciled in to be the top QB pick(s) only to have the season play out with white QB's rising through the ranks to take their spots as the years top draft prospects. I expect 2023 to be no different.

And Jake Haener from Fresno. Most mock drafts right now have 3 quotas going 1-2-3 but I guarantee that won't be the case come draft day. If anyone needs proof that there's an agenda at work here, this is it.

Yep, also throw in Brennan Armstrong (Virginia), Will Rogers (Mississippi State), and Grayson McCall (Coastal Carolina) and we have some options! Always going to be some breakout guys and Max Johnson (Texas A&M), Myles Brennan (LSU), and Aidan O’Connell (Purdue) have some potential to get in the conversation. Plenty of others to watch too like Devin Leary (NC State), Tanner Mordecai (SMU), and Clayton Tune (Houston).

You just helped kill the weekend vibes. So gutted for Clint. Hope he doesn't just give up football. Rehab and come back stronger. Easier said than done.

damn that’s awful. I bet no one will make a peep about it like they did when the Michigan player injured himself during his pro day.

Based on the RAS the 4 most athletic offensive tackles in the draft are white men. These guys have high end athleticism!

1. Trevor Penning 9.96
2. Matt Waletzko 9.95
3. Bernhard Raimann 9.87
4. Kellen Diesch 9.75

I signed up with The Athletic. The deal is $1 a month for 6 months, cancel anytime. Seems like a good deal.

Also Coastal Carolina QB Grayson McCall - he should be a 1st round pick.

Do they have the full list of pro days with results?

It has Dane Brugler's scouting report which has analysis for 399 players. The analyses contain both combine and pro day results. I haven't seen the results listed all in one place.

Brugler's scouting report also has the results for over 1,200 other players in one line each, that I'm guessing combines both combine and pro results.

For me it's easily worth the dollar a month.

2 Utah State WR’s Brandon Bowling and Derek Wright could be UDFA pickups as well. Both of them had 10+ TD catches each in 2021, Wright showed great athleticism at their pro day.

I'm excited about the wide receiver class this year. We have alot of talent and the numbers that should give some of our guys a better chance at being drafted and
actually making the rosters of teams. Of course I'm probably dreaming but I'm trying to be postive. Can't wait to see where Pierce ends up. I do hope that with a
superstar receiver like Cooper Kupp dominating last year, maybe a few more teams might be more open minded to draft and play a white receiver.

@Leonardfan, thanks for the work you do getting all those White players listed.

Should be a better year than average when it comes to our guys on the defensive side.

Thanks.

Let’s hope so. If not via the draft than the UDFA route. We should see at least 3 of the DBs drafted with the rest getting signed after the draft.

I feel that LB is always fairly deep (I left players off the list this year). The “experts” and NFL still do their best to limit the number of White LBs info the league. I will say that guys like Andersen, Muma, Chenal and Doman are getting fairly positive coverage and projections in terms of where they will be drafted. Time will tell.

A couple of interesting factoids.

Alec Pierce was 29 out of 29 in contested catches last year.

Bailey Zappe threw 62 TDs last year.

Not that it makes a different but Chris Simms has Matt Corral as his number 1 QB followed by Pickett. He made some good points in the video I watched and even made the sin of stating that Corral has the best arm strength in the class.

It's a shame Carson Strong is getting overlooked, he made some really great NFL throws in the Nevada games I watched. Not just throwing it deep with great accuracy but a lot of the out routes, slants - he delivered the ball in a hurry and accurately. If his knee has checked out I hope he gets selected in round 3.

Wanting to see Plumlee run like crazy and being disappointed he got benched, I did become a Corral fan. The kid has grit and should be a good pro.....
Keeping up with Mike Epstein all those years, I did enjoy watching linebacker Jake Hansen .....I hope someone gives him a shot..

Yep this is shaping up to be a decent class by caste standards. Hutchinson is a guaranteed top 2 pick, plus Pickett, Penning, Linderbaum, and Karlaftis are near first round locks. We may even see a 6th overachiever sneak into the first round, like Raimann or another quarterback.

THANKS Leonardfan for compiling that list! Y'all have a finger on the NFL Draft pulse ...every year there's a "Select" number..then there is what it should be

This NFL Mock Draft Simulator is kind of cool....i go on normal speed option ; try to pay attention to entire Draft ..while you are focused on your team's picks.
Good luck on your Draft
https://www.profootballnetwork.com/mockdraft/

Noticed LB Troy Andersen climbing now in 2nd Round 41st pick...
WR Alec Pierce early 3rd/70th....two other white WR's Kyle Phillips-UCLA was Round 5? Tanner Connor at #262 Mr Irrelevant?.....Curious to see which team Britian Covey will be playing for?

Looks like only one white RB was on the Draft board in the Similation .... Zander Horvath went late in the 7th round. Did not see Max Borghi on here...thought he could go anywhere from 4th -6th round. We shall see.

This Mock Draft had 2 white DB's being selected..Sterling Weatherford(will he move to LB at 6'-4" 220?) and Wisconsin's Scott Nelson too.....despite not being invited to NFL Combine!
...Inviting ZERO white DB's to the NFL Combine in 2022 is a PERFECT example of WHY i am here on CF!! Still irks me Reed Blankenship & Nolan Turner were not invited! And no doubt a few of those UDFA's will land on 53 man roster...
.....When making the 2021 Defensive Back thread last Summer really thought this could be the year we saw at least 4 white DB's drafted!
