I personally feel that at 30 men need to hang up the Ray Lewis jersey and realize that over half the guys in the league are now older than you. Guys under 30 I have no problem with wearing jerseys. I mean they're yougn and look the age of the guy's jersey they are representing. It's just that you see these old 45 year old beer gut men wearing Terrell Owens jersyes and they just look foolish(best word that comes to mind). I see it as pathetic to tell you the truth. i have some friends who agree with me on this as well. The only people above 30 wearing a jersey better be related to the player whose jersey they are wearing.

To me, it depends on why and where they're wearing it. If you're wearing your jersey to watch the game at the stadium, at a friend's house, or the local watering hole with other like-minded believers, I say have at it. But if you're wearing your jersey to the mall, I think any age is too old, lol.

You based your argument on age. How would you feel about a 60+ years old Colts fan wearing a Unitas jersey? A veteran from Wisconsin wearing a Bart Starr throwback? I'd say that was pretty cool in my book. Old dudes rock.

Anyone over 10 is too old! It's a form of hero worship. At puberty you should be over that. Why wear someone else's name on your back? It's dumb. Grow up. And at $50-100+ a pop it is really stupid.

I haven't worn a jersey that wasn't mine since I was probably 7 years old. To each his own, but I think its pretty silly, and I let my friends know every sunday when they show up to the bar with some freshly bought jersey with a black man's name across the back.

No. 18-24 is too old, anyway in that age range you should have your own jersey to wear with your own name on it. I didn't vote. Didn't have a young enough range in my opinion.

Look, I don't even wear anything with a team name on it. Why should I? I don't play for the team. I also abhor clothes with logos or writing on them. But that's just me. I realize I'm in the minority.

I used to work with an old guy from Romania, couldn't speak English, wore a "Pure Playaz" shirt all the time. Too funny.

Almost as funny as the old ladies with the "No fear" T-shirts, sure Granny, you can do it!

I think you need to get some new friends. My real friends would never do that. Wearing the jersey of a black athlete basically means you're his bitch. I only wear the jerseys on White men (Welker, Ovechkin (hockey), Bird, etc. No "friends" of mine would be caught dead wearing a bruthas jersey. Then again, we're all White Nationalists.

Ahahahahhaahah...I've witnessed similar things where I live. I knew some guy that used to wear ECKO clothing all the time, because he used to think the Rhino logo was cool.

I disagree with a lot of you on this one. I collect jerseys and have all of the Cleveland jerseys. Then again when I wear them it is usually to the bar to watch a game. But wearing a jersey is no different than wearing a team polo or hat. Now flat brimmed baseball caps are an entirely different matter.

Ditto..there's no age too old to wear a jersey or a cap. When I am watching the Browns I wear my Brady Quinn Jersey, when I am watching the Cowboys I wear my Old school Troy Aikman jersey and I wear my Dirk Nowitzki jersey often. I also have alot of other shirts and caps indicating the teams I root for, Duke Basketball, Notre Dame, Ohio St, etc...

Why not direct that smartass comment at all the other posters on here that wear jerseys? Why just at me? I wear those jerseys listed and others to show my support for the white athlete. Nobody here is criticizing you for not wearing jerseys so why don't you do the same. You are sure getting petty in your old age. Ps, I don't need any lucky undies, maybe you do though.

I'm with Jaxvid there is no way I'm paying good bucks for something that is useless unless you are doing yard work or working out or want to move dime bags of crack...

Dude, lighten up! It was meant in fun.

And BTW I myself own lucky undies, my kids bought them for me, and I'm too cheap to throw out a perfectly good set of "Michigan-GO BLUE" boxers. I was wearing them last week in the debacle against OSU. I guess they're NOT so lucky, but I'm still too cheap to throw them out.

I take the same view of "teamware" clothes that I do of tattoo's = if you can't see 'em, it's OK with me!

Anything over 30 is a bit old. Who here goes to the games and see's the fat middle aged guys with the beerguts sporting their favorite Jersey and shakes their head? I do I do. Wear a nice sweatshirt or something with your teams colors, at least that looks "a little" more adult and somewhat more classy. Edited by: Bear Backer

I once heard a stand-up comic say, "unless you're a high school
cheerleader don't walk around with another guy's name on your back."

That wasn't that Tater Salad guy was it? That kind of sounds like something he would say.
