Since 2005, Duke has started 11, 10, 7, 7, 7, 9, 10, 7, 7, 11 10 6, 5, 4 and 6 white athletes. No write up was done in 2013. In 2021 they are projected to start 7.

David Cuckliffe has really gone full caste with this team. No depth to speak of outside of the OL, TE and QB. Another one of those teams that is overshadowed by the bigger football schools in their conference. Rather than think outside of the box they want to pick the scraps from "hotbeds of recruiting".

Players to look out for are QB Luca Diamont. Duke has three total defensive players on the roster...unreal. Uber-talented/productive LB Colby Campbell transfers in as a grad student from Presbyterian. One of the best players at the FCS level during he time at Presbyterian. His career totals are 355 total tackles, 180 solo/175 assisted, 13 sacks and 32 TFL. One would think he is going to be a starter once the season commences.

Offense
QB - Gunnar Holberg
WR - Jake Bobo
TE - Jake Marwede
LT - Graham Barton
C - Jack Wohlabaugh
RG - Casey Holman

Defense
DE - Ben Frye

Duke has parted ways with David Cutcliffe after 14 years. Which for me is at least 4 years too late. Duke has been on a steady decline for the last 4 years.

Coincides with his recruiting and the team demographics.
