Here's an example of the discrimination white men face in sports.

Offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz was an All State player in Wisconsin on both the offensive and defensive lines! That's very unusual. Meinerz has high end athleticism. His Relative Athletic Score (RAS) was 9.98, which is extremely high. This is also very unusual. 10.00 is as high as you can get. The RAS measures athleticism as the name implies.

So you have an All State white player with elite athleticism and he was not offered one single scholarship to a Division 1 school anywhere in the country, not even in his home state. Yet there are droves of much lesser black athletes and players who were each offered numerous scholarships so they could pick and choose. Meinerz ended up at a Division 3 school.

But Meinerz was lucky. He was invited to the Senior Bowl at the last minute, probably because a black player got injured. The Senior Bowl and the practices are heavily attended by pro scouts. He was so dominant at the practices he ended up being drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 NFL draft.

There are many white players who never got that last minute invite. They never got a chance.

College and pro football in America heavily discriminates against white men. No doubt about it!

Quinn Meinerz could be a Day 2 answer at guard

2021 Draft Class RAS

A ton of talent falls through the cracks In Wisconsin. Only having 1 D1 School doesn't help.. A lot of talent in Whitewater's division (The Wisconsin Branch of D3) regarded by many as best D3 conference in America, for what that is worth lol.

Anyways imagine how many other players like Quinn Meinerz' there are in Wisconsin, let alone this country! As @Don Wassall frequently mentions, football severely limits it's talent base on race, more than any other sport. Recruiting is basically Affirmative Action.

For sure, you better be a world class athlete combined with luck to emerge from the caste system. Like 4 sport star Adam Thielen who was unrecruited, undrafted, and emerged from a regional combine, practice squad, racial apprenticeship, to starter, to all-pro.
