This used to be funny, but it's not anymore. I think Don might be right, and many black players try harder to win when playing with a black quarterback.

The NFL truly is in the black ball era. Terrible black quarterbacks presented to the fans as "the best players available", receivers that drop passes which hit them in the hands, all black defenses that can't tackle, big mouths, me first attitudes, stupid penalties at the wrong time, at least one player arrested every week, the list goes on.

The league actually made it a penalty to spike the ball on the field strictly because so many stupid black players were causing delay of game by spiking the ball for routine runs and tackles.

Yet some black moron in the Patriots-Colts game even spiked the ball during a critical moment in the game.

and yet the headline at NFL.com was: "Young, Titans move up to 6-2" ... i guess there must b esomething magical about his legendary leadership skills, because he sure as hell shows none of the QB abilities

nevada,

You have to admit that blacks have the knack of committing the worst penalties at the absolute worst moments of a game.

All the people who play fantasy football know what Vince Young is all about and nobody wants him.

If he ran some TDs in a la Kordell Stewart in 1996 more people would want him in fantasy ball, but the fact that he throws zero TDs really doesn't make up for it. The fact remains that real football is not fantasy football, and the Titans are winning games. Maybe Vince Young is the black Rex Grossman of last year.

My local sports rag rated Young the 3rd most valuable QB in the league.

In this case nobody's buying it because as pointed out above he don't score no fantasy points. In the CF fantasy league he's the 30th ranked QB and 136 ranked player, at 80 points this far into the season he's pitiful. Kurt Warner, Trent Green, and Jake Delhomme have more points and they only played a few games. The MSM gonna lose this battle because people don't want a FF loser to cheer for.

Clearly the credit for Tennessee's record needs to go to the coaching staff. Vince Young is simply the new Mike Vick, until the smoke and mirrors is no longer enough to convince Joe Sixpack and then we will have a new Black Jesus in cleats shoved down our throats.

Just think about how good the Titans would be if they had a quarterback who could actually throw the football..

"Just think about how good the Titans would be if they had a quarterback who could actually throw the football.."

My God, how true.

How in world do the Titans keep winning? Even their "feature back," Lendale White has full breasts, a huge gut, no muscles, and runs about as fast as a good high school RB. Their offensive line, defensive line and linebackers are good, however.

If Vince Young fails to produce in the next decade (lol), perhaps even the mentally crippled media morons (and even more stupid white fans) will wonder if their team really needs to win every gave by some miraculous defensive touchdown, blocked punt, 60-yrd field goal, etc.

Speaking of blacks showboating and spiking the ball after routine tackles and runs it always used to crack me up how black Jeremy Shockey used to act. And he is from that black supremacy "academic" university known as Miami. And the drunken white fans hated him for it.

Shockey would spike the ball after a simple good first down or do a dumb endzone dance after a TD. Or his classic throwing a cup of ice into the stands (which accidentally hit a kid) and giving the finger in the 49er loss. Yet if Shockey was black the media wouldn't be picking on him as a poor sport/bad role model. It's just that white athletes aren't supposed to act "like jackasses" excuse my rudeness. One of my friends constantly mocks Shockey as an overrated big mouth. Ever hear of Joey Porter or dozens of other blacks in the league who fit that mold.

P.S I think part of this is that white athletes know they are not accepted for acting like this. There are certainly lots of spoiled white athletes in our me first culture as well. And secondly there are few whites that get to catch long Tds and Neon Deion high step into the endzone. They are usually either QBs, O-lineman or some other non-showboating position.

It's certainly strange how a team with a QB as obviously bad as Young is can be winning games. When you throw in the fact that they have possibly the worst receiving corps in the league (and that's saying a lot), and a feature back like the plodding Lendale White, then their success is hard to fathom. Much like Atlanta used to win so many games in spite of Vick, Tennessee seems to win in spite of Young. At least Vick could run like a running back, and would have an occasional game where he threw a few decent passes. Young always looks horrendous out there, and doesn't even run much any more, which is his only strength. Of course, he appears to be picking up weight quickly, which is yet another "black thing" that QBs especially seem to be doing with regularity. Look at McNabb, Culpepper, Jamarcus Russell. All quickly get fat (in Russell's case before he even begins to play), and lose their only real ability of running the ball.

In the past, I don't remember very many teams that could produce winning records with the kind of QB play that the Titans get every week from Young. Maybe it's just another "black thing" that we wouldn't understand. There is a new breed of QB out there, and "all they do is win."

There certainly is a fix in for the BlackQb to be drafted. Maybe they figure for every ten black QB's drafted, they will find one good one.

Tennessee is losing, 3 in a row and counting, the defense is playing bad and Mr. Wonderlic is never going to put many points up on the board. This from a story on yesterdays game:

For the Titans' offense, it was another all-Bironas performance. Tennessee had to settle for a pair of field goals in the first half, when it reached the 10-yard line three times. Young lost a fumble on a blind-side hit, scuttling one drive.

The dual-threat quarterback wasn't much of a threat when the Titans got close to the goal line. Twice, he failed to connect with open receivers in the end zone. A telltale moment came in the fourth quarter, when the Titans went for it on fourth-and-goal from the 1. Young slipped on a rollout, got up and lobbed an incompletion into the end zone.

Young finished 19-of-31 for 246 yards with an interception

Nice find, Jaxvid!

I suppose the media does tell the truth about black QB's when they play poorly...NOT. They should have been writing about his sh*t performances all season long because he's played godaweful up until the Denver game last week (where he played like an average white QB at best).

I guess his "Just Win" style (AKA do nothing and hope the defense or special team scores) is starting to get easier for NFL defenses to read. I don't think the Titans are a "caste franchise," as they do start many white players and have been in the top 3 whitest teams of the past 5-6 seasons. However, for the good of the NFL, I will root against Vince Young. If Young continues to lose, it will only further our cause here at CF.

Everyone at work raves about Young's 'leadership' on the field, his 'intangibles,' and how there is no way to factor that in the stats.

But they were beating on Eli Manning pretty bad this morning. 'Worst quarterback in the league.' 'He's horrible, it's hard to believe he's even starting in the NFL..' etc, etc.
