Fantastic win, Loyola held Illinois at arm's length the entire game and never allowed a run to let them back in it. Krutwig, the 3rd team All-American, dominated the 1st and 2nd team All-Americans. Maybe the AP voters got their order wrong!

Krutwig with a monster 19-12-5 line, Braden Norris was also excellent as the primary ball-handler and ended at 9-4-4.

Excellent to see Big Men from Smaller Conferences dominate Tourney time! Really impressed with the Brothers Groves and Krutwig!

Tonight Colin Castleton should be due for another huge game against undersized Oral Roberts.

They could go win the Midwest for sure best defense in College Basketball

Very solid squad. I like the cohesiveness they have offensively and defensively. Wouldn't be surprised if Indiana tried to poach Moser to be their next HC.

Moser can go just about anywhere he wants at this point. I was disgusted by the clear case of “elder abuse” having a 100+ year old lady masked up by herself and keeping the camera on her to not let her breath.
Plenty of shots of close-up shots of the white walk-ons after losing. Its all so predictable at this point. Go pound sand Illini, good luck with your next group of criminals.

Baylor was too much for the Badgers as Matthew Meyer outscored both of his All-American teammates with 17 pts and six boards to lead all scorers.

Right Phall. I actually watched some of this game. Haven't watched a BB all year. Just got home from a vacation on the coast. Didn't have anything else to do. I was very impressed with Mr. Meyer. Not only did he lead the team in scoring, off the bench, he had as you said six boards and numerous steals, at least two. He was very energetic and was I wondering as watched why wasn't he a starter. I'm guessing at 6'9 he's a forward. The other two starters at forward scored 10 points, combined.
BTW, I enjoyed your write ups on the tournament teams.. Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed them! Happy to contribute a labor of love to the forum. And I appreciate everybody keeping this thread active. Some great performances so far -currently Syracuse looking very strong against WVU.

Good luck charm Sister Jean, looked lie ET when she was wrapped in he blanket with a mask covering her face
.

PS, seeing Loyola advance in the tournament is what the tournament is about and seeing 1 and done schools flounder or not make the tournament shows you that team work is needed even if you have 5 star recruits.

these White men (Boeheim, Girard, and McNeill) are putting on an impressive display of how to shoot the basketball! oh! it’s the Syracuse-WVU matchup i’m referring to.

also, Dolezaj for the ‘Cuse is an excellent all-around player, having to play out of position but displaying excellent playmaking abilities as well as solid defense and rebounding.

Huggins is such a pos putting McNeil on the bench for defense purposes in the final seconds. Worked out good for Syracuse first time in my life I have rooted against a white man, McNeil shooting from just inside half court 3’s.

Nailbiter win for the Cuse! Buddy Buckets with a huge second half. 25 points to lead all scorers. Girard racks up 12-6-7 and Dolezaj 12-6-5.

Sean McNeil commiting some white-on-white violence for WVU, going off for 23-3-3 and leading his team in minutes despite starting the game on the bench. At one point he nailed 3 straight three balls for a 9-0 run.

The Big 3 For the Orangemen got it done. A close hard fought game but this team is tough as nails. Another spectacular game by Boeheim.

Great win by the Cuse! Knocks out the #3 seed! So now either Loyola Chicago or Syracuse will make it to the Final 8.

Nice...

That’s for sure Phall!! McNeil was awesome if Huggins had left him in they may have pulled
It out. Nance and raffeety are in full depression mode.

The excellent play of White teams and White athletes continues into Day 3!

It was a slight bummer with Wisconsin losing but honestly, they weren’t that great a team this year. Plus, as noted, Matthew Mayer was the scoring leader for Baylor.

Bit disappointed in Wisconsin. They didn't play all that bad. Will be interesting to see if all of the Seniors come back. I have a feeling they will.

Baylor payed like a 1 seed and I hate to see one White Player knock off a whole squad like Wisconsin. That being said Mayer reminds me of Mike Dunleavy, could carve out an NBA career.

Give some credit to Huggins for picking up McNeil from a Community College(29ppg!)! McNeil, out of Union in Northern Kentucky, Only had interest from mid majors, despite being one of the best sharp shooters from The Bluegrass State! Perhaps Louisville and Kentucky are kicking themselves for ignoring this guy.

Awesome to see McNeil catapult his great season at a community college to end up at a high major.

Texas Tech blew it. They had so many chances but couldn't get it done. Other than McClung they don't have much to root for so it's all good. I just wanted McClung to get more experience for
when he is in the nba draft in another year. To be honest he didn't play up to his ability today. He was about average but I expected him to play better.

Yeah I guess I have to give a little credit but what coach in there right mind wouldnt pick up a guy like McNeil who averages 29 a game. Pisses me off when the coaches take the white guy out out on defense. Maybe I’m wrong and Huggins realizes that if he keeps McNeil in the refs would hit him with a pdww call.
