Marcin Prachnio gets a UD win against Khalil Rountree after getting rocked by a counter and a shin to the face in the second round, remarkable recovery.

He landed a lot more shots but I still figured that they would give it to the afflete. It was a toss-up, if being honest.

Whats more clear cut is my hatred for girl fights. There is nothing remotely close to sexy about this for at least 95% of them, and it feels wrong.

The worst part is the lack of weight classes for girls over 5 foot 2 inches tall. This eliminates those jacked weightlifters or even volleyball, crossfit girls and pretends little gymnast Rousey type midgets are the baddest on the planet.

This is one time where the screaching useless idiot SJW’s could serve a purpose. Either get the non-midget girls out altogether or let the big fatties fight.

As for tonight, McGregor will have a hard time going 5 rounds( if he has to). He isn't that hungry unemployed plumber anymore, and hasn't lived like it for a while.

2 women's fights on the main card to get to the co-main and main.

Imagine being the announcers trying to fake excitement over that 15 minute slap fight.

Good look for Bellator...
:eeeeek:
Nothing against Hooker, but everyone was just ragging on Chandler so I am glad he proved himself, puts doubt in UFC loyalism.

Conor's inactivity was ruinous, he even said it himself.
Lets see if this is a temporary setback or worse for Conor.

Yes it seemed he wanted to get rounds in as he seemed to be toying with the Cajun until his calf locked up from the repeated kicks to it and he was trapped against the cage. IMO he should have attacked Poirier when he staggered him in the first round with a right cross, but it looked like he was too confident that the knockout would come eventually.

I guess he was half right.

Conor looked sharp early ;landed several clean shots & shoulder shots on Dustin in the 1st Round that he won.

But Dustin gained confidence landing a shot of his own later on. His kicks were devastating .. two that gave Conor the "dead leg"...that was the beginning of the end!

BET they fight a 3rd fight in a year or two.

Dustin has improved greatly & been more active. Conor hadn't fought in 371 days; he now realizes that was a mistake.

Poirier's 10 fights since 2014 proved to be the difference.

The aura is gone. Connor is just another fighter now.

Yea McGregor can’t back up his trash talk anymore. It was entertaining to an extent but brash over the top cockiness was never an attribute I admired as a kid when choosing which athletes to root for. McGregor does it now to keep his brand name going in order to continue making money. He’s still talented but his schtick has grown tiresome.

DWF, I would love to see you or any average guy get into the ring with Rousey in her prime or even Holly Holm. I have over 25 years of martial arts, kickboxing and have sparred with more than a few female fighters. Most hit harder than expected, had technique and were not afraid. Now I am not saying a trained female fighter is gonna beat on a trained male fighter but they will take apart the average dude on the streets for the most part.

I like the girl fights although I think the standards need to be higher for gals to get into the UFC. The fights should be 3 3 minute rounds not the 5 minutes.

Conor needs to stop making excuses, get back to the basics of what made him great and fight more often...or retire.

Not surprised by McGregor's loss. The huge money from the Mayweather exhibition damaged or destroyed his motivation to be a top UFC fighter.

Yes there was a saying in boxing that it's hard to train when you wear silk pajamas and drive a Cadillac.

I noticed he seemed very low key about the fight and lost his braggart persona, it's quite possible he was cutting corners mentally to get through camp. Will he be able to get back the hunger to be the killer that nearly killed Aldo or will he be a guy who seems half mentally checked out the next time he fights.

Also his fight with Pac Man is probaby toast now too, without his killer aura the revenue from that fight probably won't be there from that circus type bout.

The point was that the girls weight classes prevent girls that aren't tiny from fighting. They need to let bigger girls fight, they aren't pretty anyways. Its like an 80’s action film starring five foot 3 inch Llamas, Stallone, Tom Cruise a crapload of other 5 foot 6 inch guys and smaller defined guys fighting midgets making you think they are monsters.

I’m fat, old, would have a tough time running a 9 minute mile, can no longer come anywhere close to benching 1.5x my weight, could not kick higher than a midget girls belly button, nor even remember what a mat feels like. With zero practice would still take it easy on one of these midget girls, sorry if you are a 115 lb manlet or dellusional.

Still, Im a normal sized man and these girls are 135 lbs. Sadly the best guys in the world at that weight ( they are cutting weight to get down there) would probably rag doll me and 100% light me or any other normal sized dude up with their striking. But the girls (theres always an outlier) would need to get up to about 175 to actually be intimidating. Stop believing ((( Hollywood))) there was nothing scary about Rhonda Rousey.

Won't completely throw Mcgregor under the bus. Poirier is a pretty close to being an elite fighter himself.. And he's battled hardened vet, tough as they get with heavy hands. Mcgregor had him stunned a couple times in Rd1 which he won.

DWF: lol your quote of "sorry if you are a 115 lb manlet or dellusional." had me rolling on the floor in laughter lol That was freaking funny..good on you lolol

Doesn't matter if you are not intimidated by a Holly Holm etc Get in the ring and when she lands one shin or foot to the head sorry but you are gonna be "lights out" period.

Cheers....

P.S. you spelled delusional wrong....:)

Can't support McGregor and I'm glad he had the grace to lose to a white fighter on his way out the door. That's a big step up for him.

I forgot to steal this fight card but I certainly do believe that I, an average, untrained, out of shape, middle age man, could beat any of these women "fighters" with one hand tied and one eye covered. I think it's detrimental to society for anyone to believe otherwise, even if they breed 'em and stick 'em full of vitamins like pit bulls.

It's a clown world fiasco that 3 or 4 fights on a card out of ten would be women. We're forced to endure this spectacle because UFC is a controlled product. There was a recent book published being critical of trannies that got a good bit of circulation in the "conservative" press: the author focused on how pre-teen girls are too young to make permanent decisions about their hormone therapies. The author, and by extension her proponents, all completely conceded the tranny argument to stand against this very extreme point. That book and its news cycle reminds me about how I feel regarding women fighters. Why accept this weird mania at all?

This was not a productive or encouraging post, which goes against the nature of the forum. Glad I could get it off my chest though. I appreciate all of you, even the manlets who would cross the street when big bad Ronda Rousey comes marching down.

Love him or hate him, Mcgregor is still a major attraction. This is the most popular MMA Thread in what a year or two?!

I'm happy to see the discussion and everyone has brought up good points! I personally use the girl fights as bathroom breaks or a chance to grab another brew. At least it seems the girls seem to be getting better for whatever that's worth lol.
