2020 California Golden Bears

Since 2005, Cal has started 7, 7, 11, 6, 8, 9, 6, 5, 8, 8, 7, 10, 11, and 9 white players. In 2020 they look to move up to 12.

This is a solid team to root for, lots of depth all around the roster. On offense Chase Garbers returns at QB with a snow plow OL but not too much in terms of skill position guys.

On defense look out for OLB Braxten Croteau. He is a sophomore who stands at 6’5” 255lbs and he looks like a future star.

This is one of the rare teams (perhaps the only one?) that set a new high for White starters this season. A refreshing change from watching the relentless downward trend of most teams. Too bad they don't have a White WR or RB starting.

Agreed. I was thinking the exact same thing but they have in recent years so it seems they are not opposed to it. Just don’t have any at the moment.

Nice. Great to see a team trending in the right direction for success.

Judging by their 2021 class, this trend could be short-lived. A caste heavy recruitment sadly.

Gotta get some affletes in the school otherwise schools like Cal would have ZERO. Scholarships are basically just an extension of Affirmative Action in Sports World.
