The link between the Giants and the Packers, as far as Blake Martinez and Kyler Fackrell are concerned, is the Giants brand new defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, who is black. Graham played his college football at Yale (defensive end), beginning in the mid-1990's. When Graham played, I believe Ivy League schools tended to cut mediocre student-athletes a bit less slack than they have in recent years.

Graham spent a long time as a position coach with the Patriots, then made his way to Green Bay for one year in 2018, where coached the linebackers -- Martinez and Fackrell had career years with Graham. He left G.B. for Miami last year, following his friend Brian Flores. With Graham's urging, as defensive coordinator, the Dolphins traded for ex-Packer linebacker Vince Biegel, even though he never did anything in Green Bay to warrant that confidence, DWF's might say? But Biegel came through big time for Graham as a starter and was recently awarded with a nice extension by the Dolphins. Having spent time in Wisconsin in 2018, Graham might've also persuaded the Dolphins to draft ex-Badger OLB Andrew Van Ginkel? AVG played really well in Miami after returning from the I.R.? Hopefully the Dolphins new D.C. is as fair minded as Graham, to AVG and Biegel?

With Graham in the fold, the Giants will utilize a 3-4 base defense. Connelly coming back from injury should be a starter. Mayo played well enough to be a starter last season and Martinez got starters money! Problem is all three are inside linebackers. My guess is, coming off a ACL injury, Connelly and Mayo split one spot, Martinez also starts, barring injury. Fackrell starts early, but has to stave a pair of "upsiders" from recent drafts. Giants suddenly have 4 top notch white linebackers on their roster, with 3 likely starting. Probably hasn't happened since the 1970's?
Thanks TT for unearthing some interesting information on the Giants sudden "White epiphany". You do a great job with these mini deep dives!

If your speculation on Patrick Graham is in fact correct, then it wouldn't be a stretch to say he's already helped the careers of more White athletes at defensive positions than the average White cucked coach. We will have to monitor the situation and possibly nominate Graham for an "appreciation thread" in the coming months......;)

With black coaches it seems like there are two main archetypes; the militantly pro-black types which make up the vast majority and the types that are more fair than average to White athletes. I think we all understand the first type, as blacks are the most racially aware group and will unabashedly support their own whenever they can. Of course our neo-liberal society allows and encourages this sort of racial solidarity and ethnocentrism. The 2nd type of black coach would seem to be made up of higher intelligence blacks (Graham has the Yale connection) who are smart enough to exploit a market condition. They likely realize that Whites are undervalued in football, especially at Caste positions, and can gain a competitive advantage by utilizing these guys who you can attain without giving up much in terms of money or draft picks. An above average intelligence black coach could literally despise Whites for racial reasons, yet at the same time understand that he can advance his career by improving the team quickly and efficiently in a way that Caste adherent teams cannot. They also have the understanding that they could never be accused of being racist for starting or rostering too many "underachievers" like a White coach inevitably would. I consider this mini-phenomenon to be comparable to Black Conservatives. If you are a black media type with smarts, you can simply come out as a conservative if you wanna strike it rich. Fox News and other cuckservative outlets will push you to the front of the line for a show, a featured writing position, a reoccurring guest, a speaker at CPAC, Charlie Kirk's tour-mate, etc ad nauseam. For examples see Candace Owens, Sheriff David Clarke, Diamond & Silk, Ben Carson and recently Kayne West.

Let's not forget the Packers while Graham was there, who were starting Martinez, Clay Matthews and Jake Ryan in '16 and '17. Fackrell also started 2 games in '17. . .

Brady IMO is just cashing checks, better to do that in TB where nothing is expected and he gets to live the life. Besides last year outside of Ed the receivers could not figure out the route so why stay there and be expected to be a SB contender when we know that to be a pipe dream but instead head to TB where if he gets a winning record he will look a hero. Joe Montana collected his last checks with KC even took them farther than normal, then he faded off into the sunset.

Listening to a radio blabber go on that the Bears are looking to move on from Mitch, good if he were to somehow land on the Packers, though I doubt it.

Yup Packers not so long ago. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Pack with 0 Pale faces playing for them on Defense. They are already targeting Lowry and Lancaster as weak links now that they chased Martinez out of town and signed an oft injured upsider to replace him .

Apparently Foles has been traded to Chicago. So yes @wile it will be interesting to see what happens with Trubisky. To be honest getting away from Chicago could rescue his career. The Bears are career suicide for QBs, much like The Browns.

The entire 2016 draft class of the Steelers is soon to be history. The only ones left are Artie Burns (first round bust) and Sean Davis (second round bust), who are both free agents that the team isn't expected to try to re-sign. Tyler Matakevich was a throwaway pick in the 7th round in '16 who was productive as hell at ILB when he got some occasional playing time due to injury but was never seriously considered as a starter because he didn't blow up the Combine.

To the extent I've been following the local sports media and DWFs, they're thrilled that Tom Brady is now in the NFC. Brady dominated the Steelers, especially in the playoffs, and they actually feared Brady and were intimidated by him (Gronk also, who always tore them up). I've still never met anyone in Pittsburgh who didn't hate the Patriots as I must be the only New England fan in town. But as of now, my interest in the Patriots is minimal, limited to rooting for Edelman, Burkhead (if he isn't cut), Winovich and Simon. We'll see what they do in the draft (an annual disappointment) and at QB and if they pick up any "overachieving" receivers, but I'm expecting very little at this point.

Don't worry about Sean Davis. The Redskins just signed him to ensure Apke gets cut or relegated to WSTD.

I like Foles - he's a solid QB with a good temperament. Ideally he will be able to mentor Trubisky some but this is Rodent Nagy we are talking about here so I am sure Mitch is on the shortest of leashes due to the Rodent and legions of Bears DWFs.

I see the always fair-minded folks at Weenieworld don't even mention Apke as being on the roster:

Redskins agreed to terms with S Sean Davis, formerly of the Steelers, on a one-year contract.
The deal is worth "up to" $5 million. Davis missed all but one game with a shoulder injury last season. He was an every-down player the three previous years but not a particularly good one. Ron Rivera has a history of coaching up defensive backs, so it's a solid landing place for the 26-year-old. The Redskins also have Landon Collins, Montae Nicholson and Deshazor Everett under contract. Davis will be the favorite to start opposite Collins.

The Bears look like they'll be battling the Panthers and a few others like the Texans to see who can have the fewest Whites on the roster. In that scenario, the Bears DWFs will be booing and howling for Trubisky's head even louder than they already do every time he makes a mistake. Trubisky's biggest "mistake" is that he was drafted before Mahomes. Hope I'm wrong but I can't see him succeeding in Chicago now. Foles does seem to have the temperament to be decent there, and expectations for him won't be as high as they were for Mitch.

Good for Beau. True space eater at NT. Hope he's more than a rotation guy for them!

All their D linemen last year where part of specialist packages so hes not going to be a 3 down player. That being said, they are not paying four million dollars for a backup

Definitely should be on the field more than in Tampa last season.

Apparently Bill O'Brien telling DeAndre Hopkins that he doesn't like him having multiple baby mommas makes him racist lol. Running a team that's almost entirely black and still going to be accused of racism. The league could be 100 percent non White and the accusations would still come until there isn't even a single White coach left. And then what will they cry about? Nobody watching the league anymore probably lol

I just read an article in the Daily Caller that states that Deshaun Watson or Trevor Lawerence would be the Patriots qb in 2021. I don't know about Watson but would love to see them land Lawerence. Belicheck and Lawerence could be something special.

Giants add another White player to their roster, Nate Ebner. Ebner is the long time NE special teams ace and backup safety. His connection the Giants HC Judge is obvious here.

I see that the Browns signed Case Keenum to a 3 year $18 million ($10 mil guaranteed) deal. I wonder if maybe they are looking for him to mentor Mayfield a bit. If not, he's a solid backup/spot starter at this point in his career.

Also Sean Lee has re-signed with the Cowboys, 1 year $4.5 mil.

I think he is just a backup. I doubt they are going to pull Mayfield. Keenum, like Foles is a solid qb but more importantly has qualities for mentoring (like you mentioned) and perhaps Mayfield will pick up some things about leadership and how a qb should carry themselves. I feel the Browns have actually done a solid job in terms of building a support system around Mayfield as compared to last year when the gum chomping cuck gm Dorsey did nothing to address their offensive line and thought bringing in the overrated Beckham was going to magically transform them into a super bowl team.

I have to say the Giants are my new favorite team to root for. I’d love to see them get a white TE and a white OL man or three. Perhaps an edge rusher or interior DL as well. Both Gostsis and Wolfe are still available.

Gentlemen, thanks for all the feedback regarding Patrick Graham. Great overall post/reply, Freethinker. By the way, I can already see the media narrative regarding Graham, if the Giants defense improves and the white linebackers play really well: Media narrative will undoubtedly be that because Graham went to Yale, he's partial towards towards "intelligent", "high-motor overachievers". As far as your (great) point regarding more intelligent black coaches and execs being more comfortable with players, I posted a lot last year regarding the Dolphins front office, particularly the Grier family, fitting this mold. At that time I was unaware of Graham, who was also in Miami.

Can't blame the Packers linebacker's for flocking to the Giants and this is nothing new for the Giants DWF's. Their last defensive coordinator, a white cuck not worth mentioning, brought in a bunch of worthless Arizona Cardinals defenders with him. All black, of course, except Josh Mauro. So this is pretty standard around the NFL, head coaches, offensive and defensive coordinator's always bring in former players. Giants new coach, who led the Patriots special teams, just brought in bearded Lonsman Nate Ebner to cover kicks and punts.

As far as the Packers success, last decade (and throughout the Rodgers era), most of that was due to Ted Thompson. Had he not been publicly shamed by an over-sized (height), odious Jewish lesbian on MSNBC for the Packers being "too white" after they won Super Bowl XLV, Packers might've won more titles, with his draft acumen. Ted knew how to draft (when he was allowed to pick best players available, regardless of race) and Patrick Graham was open minded enough to coach whoever was available. And he made them better. Significantly better. Martinez, for example, was much better statistically in 2018, than last season when Graham left. Fackrell, of course, was screwed by their new cuck GM. Thompson had a long NFL career as linebacker, according to his bio. New Packers GM likely had a similarly long NFL career in 20's -- but probably as a Water-boy. He must have been the tinker-bell that used to spray water ( from green plastic bottles) in affletes mouths during timeouts, making sure there would not be a mumps outbreak on the team?

Just saw the Rams released Todd Gurley. Pretty amazing to see him physically decline so quickly due to an arthritic knee.

Clay Matthews cut too for salary reasons. Rams in bad shape.

Clay proved last year that he’s still an effective pass rusher. A good team in need would be smart to sign him.

Clay was fantastic early in the season when he was healthy! The Rams though are in bad cap shape as they have pretty much paid everyone on offense. I wonder where Clay goes next. Denver? Chargers?
