One of the best athletes of the 2020 Class...
Drew Sanders flipped his commitment from Oklahoma....to ALABAMA. Mixed opinions on this; he wants to play DEFENSE. This could be LEGIT Ice breaker to get impact white defender playing
Defense. Hopefully they don't switch him to TE later on.
.... In HS he does it all; Dual-threat QB scoring long TD Runs; making nice catches as a WR; Punishing Tackler on Defense; Premier Edge Rusher; INT's for Pick 6's; Blocking Punts for TD's ; etc

He joins highly rated ILB Jackson Bratton in Class of '20

Bresee is a Stud! If only more Power 5 schools would emulate Clemson on the Defensive side of the ball.

Nice Find Bucky!

Thanks Heretic for all of the updates! Shadowlight; Dolphins15 etc

Looks super-athletic on film. I hope Saban offered him at OLB...even so, I'm always leery of that Caste-stooge head coach.

A couple of other recent notable commits:

Pro-style QB commits to Thug-U
OT commits to Kentucky (these days, a White OT commit in the SEC is now "notable")

Some more notable, very recent, commits:

OT commits to Northwestern (Fake News from 247sports lists him at the more-appropriate Caste position of OG (even though he played OT in high school), but he’s an elite-level 4-star OT that had a huge offer list that included ND, OSU and Michigan). Huge get from them.
S commits to Oklahoma State; shockingly, their 3rd White defensive player for ’20. (I guess all of those "real" athletes giving up 600 yards a game in the Big 12 didn't have as much "upside" as they thought they would)
OT commits to Northwestern (NU shaping up with a strong '20 class, especially at OL)
OT commits to Virginia (4-star recruit...first White recruit for UVA, but class is still small)
S commits to Western Michigan ('20 class lightening up quite a bit from the past couple of very dark ones)

Another big announcement tonight fellas. 4 Star DE Rylie Mills of Lake Forrest, illinois will decide where he's playing his college ball. Final 3 of Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Wisconsin. Y'all know where I want him to end up!

Thanks for the updates! Fun fact Skoronski's grandfather Bob, was a mainstay on Lombardi's Championship Teams along The OLine. Huge get for Northwestern indeed!

He chose Notre Dame. Been awhile since The "Irish" had a honkey DL...

ND shaping up with a great '20 class. In a few other high-end White '20 recruits I came across, ND was high on their list as well and expected to sign with them. ND will once again be a team to root for after a pretty dark period.

Also, a Pro-style QB just committed to UK.

The c/o 2020' is one of the best classes I've seen in recent memory for white S/DB prospects! Most years have around 1-2 white DB's go in the top 100, this year however we have a whopping 7 (including prev. mentioned S Zach Middleton).

BYU commit S Nate Ritchie 6'3 200 from Lone Peak HS in American Fort, Utah, is a 4-star prospect with 12 high-major D-1 offers including (Stanford, Arizona St, and Vanderbilt). The #30 S in the nation he was closely considering UCLA,BYU round his top-3. (Lone Peak probably produces the most white skill players in America)

Nebraska commit S Isaac Gifford 6'0 180 3-star prospect from SW Lincoln HS Lincoln, NB. The #50 ranked S nationally and #5 in Nebraska, only had 4 offers with Oregon St, Army, and Northwestern rounding out his options.

Clemson commit S Tyler Venables 5'10 190 from DW daniel HS in Central, SC. #63 S nationally and #14 prospect in Georgia, will join his brother LB Jake Venable at Clemson. He had only 5 offers with Wake Forest, Nevada, and Coastal Carolina on his list.

Purdue commit S Ryan Brandt 6'1 202 from Angola HS in Angola, IN. Had 10 offers with Purdue being by far his top offer, and his next best offers coming from mid-majors Ball St, and E Mich. Brandt was another talented, neglected white skill player despite being ranked #76 S nationally and #14 overall in Indiana.

UCLA commit S Jake Newman 6'o 189 out of St John Bosco in Bellflower, CA, ranked #85 S nationally. He has 9 offers including 2 rare ones from Louisville, and Penn St who have quickly become just as dark as Florida St (including all-black c/o '19 ). However, UCLA is doing the opposite as they've added 3 white WR's the last 2 yrs (WR Chase Cota '19, WR Kyle Phillips '19, ATH Kain Medrano '20), and also stocked up on white defenders (OLB Bo Calvert '19, OLB John Ward '19, WDE Noah Keeter '19, OLB Jay Max Jacobson '20, ILB Jeremiah Trojan '20)!!

Nice! How do you add the little shortcuts on commits like y'all have it?? I've got a couple juicy discoveries!
It's pretty straightforward.

1. Copy the URL address that's in the web page you want to link to. This is located at the top of your web browser when you are on that page.
2. Finish typing your post in CF and then highlight/select the word in your post you want to put the link into.
3. With that word highlighted/selected, click the "chain link" icon in the menu and then paste the URL address that you copied from step 1.) above and then click the "Insert" button
4. Click "Post Reply" to post it.

WR commits to Cal - both 247 and Rivals with Fake News listing him as a generic "Athlete" when he only plays WR...lightly recruited, but great highlights. So many more Whites with skillsets like his that never get a chance.
OLB commits to Cal - solid get, great size at 6'3" 220lbs

Five more to watch.

Luke Floriea- Plays a little bit of everything for Mentor High School in Ohio. But projects as a receiver. He has really good speed and burst and can track the ball really well. He currently has offers from Boston College, Ball State, UMASS, Kent State, Air Force, Navy and a few FCS Schools. https://www.hudl.com/profile/4040392/Luke-Floriea

Nicholas Malito- Plays WR for Girard High School in Ohio. They were State Runner Ups. He caught 53 balls for 1,313 yards and 15 TDS. A big kid (6'2" 205) with plenty of wheels. He currently has offers from Bowling Green, Kent State, Air Force, Youngstown State, Harvard, Yale and Fordham. https://www.hudl.com/profile/7618978/Nicholas-Malito

Luke Grimm- Plays WR for Raymore-Peculiar High School in Missouri. Has run a 10.88 100M. He has really good speed and makes good cuts. He currently has offers from Army, South Dakota State, Dartmouth, South Dakota, Northern Iowa, Indiana State, Southern Illinois, Western Illinois. https://www.hudl.com/profile/9565404/Luke-Grimm

Tyson Gordon- Plays FS for Skutt Catholic High School in Nebraska. They were State Champs. An all around athlete that excels at basketball and baseball too. A little on the thin side but that doesn't stop kids with darker pigmentation from getting recruited. Has really good ball skills and is a ball hawk. He currently has offers from North Dakota State, Youngstown State, South Dakota State, Illinois State and Northern Iowa. Also has a basketball offer from Nebraska Kearney. https://www.hudl.com/profile/8051878/Tyson-Gordon

Connor O'Toole- Plays WR for La Cueva High School in New Mexico. They were State Champs. Has a run a 10.78 100M at 6'4" 205! A specimen who has just started to see some offers roll in. He currently has offers from Washington State, Colorado, Baylor, New Mexico, Wyoming, and San Diego State. http://www.hudl.com/profile/5501926/Connor-OToole

Wilcox is a pretty fair recruiter this far. His only real mis step was giving that mediocre quota a chance at the starting job. Would love to see another white Rb be given a shot.

Cal does have little used Alex Netherda listed as third string RB behind two underclassmen...He’s a redshirt senior with one lifetime carry...He did lead the spring game with 76 yards rushing.....

I think Cal's entrance requirements is causing some of this, although I don't know why that didn't seem to matter in their very recent (and not so recent) past when they were always caste.

Nebraska's DL coach went on to the NFL - Giants, I believe; so Frost hired the Poly DL coach from Cal who mentioned something about Cal's entrance requirements being more stringent...which put limits on who they could recruit.

Then there's the "Ali" kid at RB ;)

Ali-Walsh got leap frogged on the depth chart last year....I thought he would get a good shot...
He may have got dinged up.....He seems like a pretty decent kid....

Also just wanted to say thanks to you Heretic and RB. You both do a great job in the recruiting threads too.

Cal does have the Boise state black quarterback transfer Modster but I think the job is Garbers. Evan Weaver was a big time playmaker for them last year - looking forward to seeing what he does in 2019 - he looks like a d-lineman playing LB - a fun player to watch and very athletic. I’ll be following him in the draft thread - dare I say he fits the cliche of a being a Patriots type player.

Ali Walsh transferred to UNLV. He will have to sit out a year.

I just read Athlon 2019 for College Football. It looks like there is the same old crap on the depth charts though there seems to be a large uptick in projected white wr's starting. The only good news at DB I could find is that red shirt freshman cb , Andrew Bird of Rice is penciled in to start and they are calling him to be a huge impact player. Though I wanted to report this last year. Air Force's C. Fejeledem was moved from corner to FS. Typical caste BS. Iowa's Riley Moss though listed second string should start some time this season. He gave up a lot of plays last year but so did Iowa's black db's and Moss was always in great coverage but just got beat by perfect throws. Texas Tech, Justus Parker though we know is listed as a NB is listed as a starting corner. Some publications have Kansas State's Johnny Durham starting and some have him listed behind some black true freshman. One publication has Colorado's bruising tb starting in Beau Bisharat and some have him 4th string. The new coach apparently prefers bigger power backs as opposed to the smaller scat backs. We will see. No news on Maryland's rb Jake Funk. What a waste of talent. Also Wake Forest's Cade Carney was listed as a second team offense all ACC by Athlon. Washington State's rb Max Borghi is slated to get a huge bump in carries but their offense is primarily a passing scheme so I don't see him ever getting 1,000 yards rushing though he is a slight tick below CMAC in all over talent.

Stanford CB Ethan Bonner is one to keep track of. Purdue has a white RB/FB Zander Horvath who may be in line for some carries.
