I’m watching the game and I noticed Ark State started a white slot receiver #82 named Brandon Bowling, never heard of him but he’s 14-102 on the season and is only a sophomore. He’s from the Dallas area so I like him already

Looks like Appalachian St. Has another strong team in 2018. I've enjoyed their dominance over The Sun Belt since joining a few year's back. Not the most white friendly but compared to the rest of their conference. Night and Day difference in their roster composition.

Always great to see young WRs getting PT. Bowling is a guy to watch out for, thanks f9r the heads up Red!

App State used Thomas Hennigan at kick returner and punt returner last night after their pretty good black returner got injured, good to see a big white receiver returning (6’1” 210). They have a white tight end who made a nice catch too, think his last name was Pearson. Couldn’t remember if they had any white guys on defense

Just a reminder to check out 22's comprehensive stat wrap from week 6.

Since TCU is on tonight and Utah tomorrow I wanted to mention a few underclassmen that have shown some potential so far this season. This is by no means a comprehensive list. Just a list of some interesting players that have grabbed my attention. Most if not all have been brought up here at CF.

QB-Sam Ehlinger ( Texas)-A cut rate Baker Mayfield with better speed. Great improviser.

WR-Jack Sorenson of Miami (Ohio) and Austin Trammell (Rice). Know nothing about them but see they have been putting up decent stats.

WR-Britain Covey- Old for a sophomore (Utah) but his quickness and change of direction is off the charts. Needs to be showcased more. A little small so a slot WR/PR if he makes it to the next level.

WR-Landen Akers (Iowa State)-total stats 5-134. Needs more touches. Not a dunk and dink WR. Has blazing speed. Just a sophomore.

S-Nolan Turner (Clemson) -Same team as stud Tanner Muse. Does not start but has the physical skills to be a major player after this season. Can really run.

WR-McLane Mannix (Nevada)- Much followed here this slot speedster has had some huge games and is very important.

S-Luke Masterson (Wake Forest)- Not sure he is starting yet but has been very active of late. Piles up a lot of tackles. Rangy.

RB-Kadin Remsberg (Air Force)- Speedster is just scratching the surface.

OLB-Pete Werner ( Ohio State)- Keeps improving each week. Already one of my favorite college players. Outstanding range. Disruptive.

OLB-Garret Wallow (TCU)- Not a team one would associate with white athletes but along with the quick LB/DE Ty Summers Wallow has been a force. Plays like a wild animal with a lot of speed. Catch him tonight on TV.

MLB and OLB - Paddy Fisher and Blake Gallagher ( Northwestern)-Two active old fashioned pursue and tackle players. They play defense the way it is supposed to be played.

CB-Riley Moss (Iowa)-No CB is not a misprint. First start for the freshman and he wins Big Ten co-defensive player of the week. Grabbed two interceptions. Not too shabby an opening act. Not to put too much pressure on him but I will designate him at least for now The Great White Hope!!

Bowman is out so battle of black quarterbacks tonight. Yawn.

At least there a couple of intriguing Edge/LB prospects between the 2 Texas Schools.

TTU WR TJ Vasher got injured in the first quarter and Dalton Rigdon has played every play since then, hasn’t caught a pass yet bc Duffey kinda sucks but he’s been targeted twice, haven’t seen Zach Austin yet but he’s started the other 5 games this season, not sure if he’s injured

Tony Jones had a sack and fumble recovery last night, he’s at 26 tackles 6 tfl 4 sacks in the season. Eli Howard played well too, the 2 TCU linebackers didn’t have any statistical greatness against TTU but they were decent at stopping the running backs. Wallow and Summers were basically the only white players I saw for them, also their QB Shawn Robinson is a turnover machine and isn’t the same player he was in high school, they need to give Michael Collins a chance if they don’t want the same results again. TCU has a really bad offense.

USF Jr. Mitchell Wilcox is a Future Prototypical NFL TE at 6'-5" 245....Highlight reel catch tonight!

New Tulsa QB Seth Boomer showing some nice agility on the 30 yard run!

Tony Jones almost looks like Erick Harris of the Raiders.... Defense the Best from Texas Tech in recent memory. Justus Parker made a nicce play too.

WR Hutch White led Texas State in receiving 4 rec - 41 yds ; also Returns Punts

Brandon Bowling was injured; looked like his ankle; do not think he returned
Hoping to see more from of App.St WR Thomas Henigan(highlighted in WR Thread) after promising Freshman season; solid size WR

Nice run down Shadowlight....Garrett Wallow is from powerhouse John Curtis HS in NOLA. Had hoped he'd go to LSU; watching him at TCU proves he could play in the SEC despite his pale condition. Heavy hitting DB grew into the hybrid role many seem to be leaning toward (Hansen; Tranquil; etc) Nice 1 - 2 punch w LB Ty Summers

CB Riley Moss looks to have a bright Future! Hopefully this has the trickle- down effect like Wes Welker did in the Slot.

1st carry tonight...Kade Remsberg goes for 27 yards!

THANKS for the head's up on Landon Akers

Luckily Tony Jones is all white though, he’s a good player and it’ll be interesting if he gets an NFL shot, he’s kinda small at 6’2” 225lbs but he’s a productive player who can play DE or LB. I never noticed it until you pointed it out but they really do look very similar. I actually met him a couple times last year and he’s a really nice guy. I think he started yesterday so hopefully he can continue that for the rest of the year.

That's cool you got to meet him ...Jones seems like a really nice guy in pic.

Tulsa RS Fr. DB Bryson Powers continues to impress...& San Diego St. DB Parker Baldwin who nearly had the INT

Air Force Fullback Cole Fagan with a 41 yard run!

U.Mass WR Andy Isabella leads FBS headed into Week #Seven w 839 yards receiving!
Chattanooga WR Bryce Nunnelly leads the FCS with 768 yards...

Doesn't take much to make me sour but just like last week I was uninspired by the Thursday TT-TCU game and last night's games didn't do much for me either.

In fact that was the worst game I have seen both TCU defenders Wallow and Summers play all year. They weren't bad by any means but just average for them. They didn't play up to their talent level.

On the other side I could swear S Justus Parker, discussed above, is barely seeing the field. He did not start and played sporadically at best. There was speedy WR #86 Dalton Rigdon who Red mentioned above but he was virtually ignored.

The stale pattern continued last night with Air Force and SD State. Terrible game to watch. I bolted during the delay. RB Remsberg only had three carries? I saw his long early run and then nothing.

I caught half of the Utah Arizona game. AZ WR Ellison didn't have a catch. For Utah Britain Covey had a dink and dunk stat line of 6-51. He did however throw a long TD pass on a trick play. He used to be a QB. Something NFL scouts should note. He is only 5'8" and slight ( we know the NFL only has black players with that size) but like so many talented white players he seems hemmed in. I always come away from a Utah game thinking they should utilize him more but last night was a blowout so that point gets lost in the shuffle.

Bright notes were the defensive combo of Chase Hansen and Cody Barton. They seem to be around the ball on every play.

Just hope things break for the better today. But every time I get my hopes up they get dashed for some reason. So I will just mention in a low key way that I hope for some breakout performances today.

I’m pretty sure Justus Parker has started most of the games but he’s definitely not playing every down like he did last year, he did have his best game of the season against TCU (4 tackles, 1 FF, 1 kick return) he only had 5 tackles and a pass deflection total in the first 5 games. Maybe it’ll be like last year and he turns it on big in the 2nd half of the season. It’s disappointing he hasn’t got a INT or FR yet because almost every single scrimmage or anything during spring/summer/fall camp he would come away with an interception. (I guess it does make it a little easier when you’re going against your own offense every day and know the plays)

He’s very fast!! He was a WR/S in high school and he had over 1000 yards each of his last 2 high school seasons. Could you imagine going against a 6’5 220lb safety in high school?

Fant was/is hyped by the Caste media as the "athletic" Iowa TE, but Hockenson is really the better of the two in that regard, while recognizing that Fant is very athletic as well. Last week after Hockenson had more targets than Fant, one of Fant's relatives took to Twitter to call out the Iowa coaches.

Northwestern WR Flynn Nagel with a 61-yard TD reception. He now has 7 rec for 149 yds and 2 TD against Nebraska.

Watching the game and 4/5 TEs Todd mcfaggot has ranked for the 2019 draft are black. Such a joke

It’s too bad Nebraska and their nappy headed black quarterback are getting the win.

Northwestern has always been unpredictable...they often beat the teams you don't expect them to (last week @ Michigan State) and lose to the ones you expect them to beat (@ home against Nebraska).
