I'm very sorry for your loss. This is a very hard thing to deal with.
Drugs are a scourge in our society. The promotion of drug use is a weapon used to destroy our society, promoted by leftist social engineers. Some of them have stated openly that they want to use drugs as a means to destroy our society.
Your granddaughter was only 19 and was probably impressionable like most 19 year olds. Though she may have taken the drugs herself she was heavily influenced to do so. If it weren't for the leftist social engineers this tragedy probably wouldn't have happened. She was for the most part a victim.
The leftist social engineers who promote drug use and make it possible for drugs to be available to people such as your granddaughter are those who are ultimately responsible for her death.

Many times college is the worst social environment for certain types of personalities. I guess I am probably in the middle of your views and McCafferey. If she developed the addiction as a minor I have the upmost sympathy for her but even as an 18 year old you have to know who you are hanging out with and what you are ingesting.
I suppose she could have been lied to and developed an opiate addiction by a "friend" but with the internet and television documentaries you would have to think that she should have known about the basic dangers of opiates.
Ps I have been at crazy parties with tons of drinking and possible date rape but I don't recall guys or women doing opiates. But this was back 25ish years ago, so times might have changed. Anyway my sympathies are with your loss of your granddaughter.

The opioid epedemic is hitting white America so hard. I am really sorry for your loss booth. I can't imagine what it's like to be an teenager today and it must be so hard to navigate through this minefield of what once was a good, decent and safe country. Please accept my condolences.

Both the War on Drugs and drugs themselves have done a lot of harm to White people. There aren't many easy answers. There is, however, a huge difference between the effects of marijuana and those of heroin. There are millions of people who have smoked a little weed and gone on to be healthy, honest, productive adults, but I have yet to meet a heroin addict whose life is not completely and utterly screwed up. As an emergency room nurse, I've seen over and over what heroin, cocaine, or meth can do to a human being. There's a reason even most libertarians don't call for the actual legalization of hard drugs.
I don't know what it's like to personally lose someone to heroin, and I can't imagine what it would feel like. I can only say that I think law enforcement should focus on treatment for users and save the stormtrooper tactics for the (mostly non-white) suppliers, who probably feel at least some level of racist glee at devastating White neighborhoods, even if their primary motivation is simple greed.
And if you're going to smoke weed (I think it should be legal, but I never understood the fascination - never smoked it, smelled it many times, can't stand the odor) - buy legal and buy White.

The Atlanta Falcons signed Penn (not Penn State) quarterback Alek Torgersen as a free agent. Now they have released him.
The reason? They found out he played for Penn and not Penn State. They didn't even know what school he played for. Yes, it's true. Heck, I knew that Torgersen didn't go to Penn State and I'm nothing but an amateur.
They compounded their mistake by releasing him. Torgersen was a good UDFA signing. They should have given him a chance. The move gave them bad publicity.
What happened was an example of incompetence and unprofessionalism on the part of the Falcons. I'll bet there was an "affirmative action" employee involved in this.

My guess is this is probably how a lot of black quarterbacks get selected. Deshone Kizer is a perfect example of this. He was nothing more than a big name from a big school, yet when put on the field, he didn't produce. Anyone that watched him play in college could easily see he's not an NFL quarterback.

The man suing Tajae Sharpe claims Sharpe beat him unconscious after the man "made comments about Sharpe getting less playing time" due to the Titans' selection of Corey Davis.
The lawsuit filed by alleged victim Dante Satterfield says "it was understood by all parties that Sharpe was upset by the Titans' selection of Davis." Along with teammate OG Sebastian Tretola, Sharpe allegedly followed Satterfield outside Tin Roof Bar in Nashville, where Satterfield was allegedly "punched in the face to the point of unconsciousness." A passerby saw Satterfield unresponsive on the ground and called 911. To reiterate, no criminal charges have been filed against Sharpe or Tretola, at least not yet.

The Bears cut Eddie Royal and 2014 second round bust Will Sutton. Hopefully this paves the way for Braverman to take over the slot. I watched a few Bears games last year and their receivers were some of the worst I have seen - many dropped passes and lack of effort. Hopefully both Braverman and Gentry end up on the roster.
The Bears also signed Kendall Wright during the offseason, who projects as a slot receiver. He was so so with the Titans, mostly disappointing, but he's a former first round draft pick therefore dripping with upside and we know how that goes in the NFL. Hopefully Braverman can start seeing the field some this season and then surpass Wright at some point due to better productivity.

You just supposedly trained for the Combine and your pro day, then several weeks after you've been drafted and achieved your life's goal and been guaranteed millions of dollars, you're already fat? Coach Bill O'Brien named D'Onta Foreman as a rookie who reported to the team out of shape, and Foreman rode an exercise bike during the Texans' rookie minicamp practice on Saturday. This is actually quite common for rookies, who spent the last several months flying around the country to meet with teams, then celebrating for two weeks after they were drafted. Still, it's notable that Foreman is out of shape enough that he isn't even allowed to practice yet. Foreman weighed 233 pounds at the Combine, but was listed at 249 at the University of Texas. Weight management is something he'll have to take seriously in the NFL.

I don't follow the NFL too closely, so I wasn't aware of a 'too fat to practice' rule. Is this something new? Seems to me you'd want the guy working out and practicing asap if he shows up out of shape. Never a surprise when a black guy turns into an obese slug. For weenieworld to excuse something like that is just pathetic. No athlete should be partying for weeks before beginning a professional football career making potentially millions of dollars.
If an obese player keels over from a heart attack his team, and the league, will likely be sued. Korey Stringer died during a Vikings practice in 2001, and I don't know if his family sued or not, but given how litigious this society is and how big a corporation the NFL is financially, it's a tempting target even though someone who is fat by definition is at a higher risk of heat stroke or a heart attack. It's still amazing to me that the league still prefers obese players along the offensive and defensive lines, but the number of morbidly obese players seems to have peaked at least.

But what do these numbers matter if they never actually played a college game at that size and won't at the NFL level either? It's false advertising. This D'Onta slob is closer to the guy who showed up to camp than the guy paraded around the combine for scouting cucks and negrophiles to drool over.

For running backs it's usually an issue with the legs of the back. I recall watching a documentary on Marcus Dupree and he reported to camp at Oklahoma heavy during his sophomore year and Barry Switzer stated he had hamstring issues because of it. He told Marcus to lose 25 pounds. Needless to say it fell on deaf ears as Dupree had mentally checked out and was going pro at the end of the season. I have also heard of overweight running backs having ankle issues and of course being winded earlier.
Ps Craig Heyward had sumo issues near the end of his career as he played fullback at a reported 290 pounds. Tampa Bay had a fullback a couple of seasons ago who had similar weight issues who played at close to that weight in college at tailback and had to get his weight down to 250 to get an invite to an NFL training camp.
