Future of baseball is grim

Side note--Barry Bonds--why is everyone getting worked up? To me the worst aspect of baseball is the future which is beginning to resemble football in the way certain positions are becoming virtually whiteless. And there are countless more Barry Bonds types ready to explode--ie: the Upton brothers who are fast--and a number of black speedsters, most are centerfielders, ready to take over as media darlings just like football. Bonds will be ancient history before you know it. The next "Michael Vick" types will be playing baseball-along with football and the layout looks grim with a few exceptions. A lot of things get under my skin but fat softball star Bonds playing out the string is not a top priority for me.

So as usual, all that Black Racist whining was nothing but a bunch of Lefty lies and propaganda/dis/mis/-information.

Actually most the best young sluggers are white. Do your homework.

Not talking about First base types with power. I follow baseball at all levels as close as anyone around and the CF position for example is being dominated by blacks at the high school and up levels now. The two top athletes/speed guys coming up are Cameron Maybin and Justin Upton both black and there are other blacks or Latina/blacks ready to jump up to the top... A recent survey only had one white CF on a list of top ten minor leaguers and he was probably the slowest of the group. If whites are going to smash stereotypes they need to break through with speed and athleticism. That is my point. Sadly the future on that count looks grim unless some white guys in the lower levels turn it up a notch--which they have not done in recent years.
