on top of his slippery running style and speed, i couldn't get over how much smaller he and his teammates were compared to their opponents in the video. wow!

The comments on the page indicate he was 12 at the time of the video and 13 now. I wouldn't normally be interested in watching someone so young but holy CRAP, you guys really ought to watch this video, kid is amazing. He must cause a lot of ankle breaks:HolyCrap Ignore the article, he's not 8.

Funny, I got this same video emailed to me this week. It was titled - "Check out this white running back". His teammates weren't bad either.

WOW!!!
This kid is amazing.
He has the shiftiest moves of all the white RBs that have been mentioned on this site. He also seems to have great field vision and toughness.
Too bad, that like so many white RBs, he seems to be a bit on the small side.
Still the kid is incredible!!!

Ive played with white guys at that age more shifty than him. He looks realy good Hopefully he will turn into a great player but he has a long was to go lots of kids of all races are great at his age but fade away, hopefully he wont. He looks realy good but there are tons of other white kids with the same ability.
Of coarse there are the ignorant comments posted about him its amazing how dumb the public is.

Here's a Cody Paul update for you guys. He's now a Junior at Los Alamitos HS, and getting playing time. He's small for a (white) RB at 5'6", 155, but is starting to show his trademark wicked moves and speed. In "change of pace" action this year, he's had 526 yards on 76 carries, and has 8TDs (6 rushing) on the year.

Are you sure he's still at the RB position?
I read that he moved full time to QB (no clue how to confirm this, though).

Paul was a youtube legend as a very young kid! Hopefully he can continue to develop and put on some more weight. Thanks for the updates FootballDad, appreciate the work you put in!

the YouTube legend is now a senior in high school, and he started his year off with a bang: 6 carries, 137 yards, and 3 touchdowns. i suppose it is his Maurice Jones-Drew-like size that is keeping him from being more highly regarded by collegiate scouts.

Senior season highlights

I see no reason why he couldn't step in as an identical replacement for LaMichael James at Oregon.

This kid has probably the shortest stride of anyone I have ever seen. He will not be recruited.

There are plenty of "diminutive" short-striding blacks with astronomical star ratings on Rivals with schollies in hand already. From what I can see, I can't even find a profile for Paul. Take a look at some of these "supa affletes" for which size doesn't seem to matter....

These are just a few, all 3 stars and up, the list is almost endless. The only thing that these playas have over Cody Paul is extra melanin content and that they are amazingly ugly.

Two articles written by ignoramuses try to close the book on Cody Paul.

From Forbes comes this brilliant title: Cody Paul: All Grown Up, and No Major College Football Place to Go. This was the article I read. Although it was actually just a rip-and-summary of a much longer article at ESPN: Frozen in time: Cody Paul tries to shake his YouTube fame. I didn't read it because the Forbes article included the relevant quotes to show that the ESPN writer is either completely clueless or he intentionally avoids the "white" elephant in the room.
Both articles blame height and hubris for Cody's lack of college attention.

Pretty impressive highlights from Paul. He's only 5'5 but he is pretty strapped weighing in at 170 and he really brought the pain to opposing tacklers. Riddlewire in that article the writer failed to even mention how his low center of gravity is beneficial to his style of play. His speed will always be questioned b/c of his height but damn he was fast enough to get away from plenty opposing all black secondaries.
