Sick of Paris/Mindless Fluff, etc.

Here's a quick article on how the Globalist Elite controlled "mainstream" media loves pushing self-important, primadonna, whore, heiress Paris Hilton on the masses. This is the M.O. of the Globalists...trying to hype mindless fluff (Paris, Brittany, MTV, American Idol, video games, iPods, etc.) to distract the sheeple from their true agenda (amnesty for illegals, NAU, the Amero, intentionally de-valued dollar, spiked oil prices, a rising police state, etc.).

Paris Hilton's Return to Jail Invokes Little Sympathy

By James Newcomb (www.jbs.org)

It seems that the mainstream media will stop at nothing to spin Ms. Hilton's recent encounter with the law (also referred to as reality by some) into a news story that is worthy of our constant attention. For some reason, we are expected to feel sorry for the sobbing and screaming starlet as we read about her being taken from her plush Hollywood Hills home and returned to jail to finish her duly-assigned sentence.

In spite of her star status, there is one inescapable fact in all of this: She chose to break the law, and now she has to pay the consequences of it, just like everybody else who commits a crime. What's the big deal?

It's not like there have not been any newsworthy events lately.

Just last week, the Senate rejected a bill that would eventually grant amnesty to 12 million immigrants here in the U.S. illegally. Did that headline stay on the front page of major newspaper's websites for more than four hours? Perhaps, but not much longer than that.

The Washington Post's headlines when this story was written featured news items such as a Congressman who has been indicted of bribery, world leaders committing their constituents' resources to aid poverty-ridden areas of Africa, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff stepping down from his post.... And right next to those headlines is a large picture of a sobbing Paris Hilton in a sheriff's car being escorted back to the courtroom. The networks didn't fare any better, either, in their coverage overkill.

What is wrong with this picture? Are Americans really so fascinated with Hilton serving a simple 45-day jail sentence that her story is as important as those listed above? Why do mainstream media work so hard to give so much attention to a girl whose actions would cause any decent mother to cover her face in shame?

For many years, the mainstream media has been engaged in an all-out assault on traditional American values and morality. This extensive coverage of Hilton is a continuation of that assault.

While Paris Hilton learns the invaluable lesson that nobody is above the law as she serves her time, the media is doing everything they can to glorify a young woman whose sexual escapades would have caused Queen Jezebel to blush in embarrassment.

We should call news sources out when they give incognito support to immorality like this. Tell them we won't patronize their service until they report news that's actually fit to print.

Does anyone know what Ms. Hilton did to become famous?

Did a sleezy video that got leaked and put her on the scene. Aside from that, she's the hotel Hilton's great-granddaughter.

Since then, she's done TV and movies, and a lot of live appearances at parties, clubs, etc that garner her media attention.

I work very hard to know absolutely nothing about Paris Hilton, pop culture, rap music, and most television.

I imagine 90% of the people on this site are the same way. We care about important things like sports, lol.

I don't even watch TV anymore with the exception of sports (mostly hockey and BYU football which is pretty much it since its so hard to watch the Raiders these days) wrestling, and DVD's. I second those sentiments about doing everything possible not to know anything about Paris, (c)rap, and other hollywood/pop culture nonsense. I am 25 years old and my father actually makes fun of me for not knowing about any of the sh*t music thats popular today. I constantly tell him that I don't listen to anything made after 1992. I think he's just going through a mid-life crisis, but its especially weird with him being an immigrant and everything

While Paris Hilton is one of those "famous for being famous" kinds of "celebrities," I don't quite understand the irrational hatred most Americans seem to feel for her. I would much rather watch her stand and attempt to pose, than be subjected to the likes of Flav Flave, Queen Latifah, Da Brat, Puff Daddy/P Diddy, Ice Tea, Ice Cube, Snoop Dog or any number of similarly mind-numbing blacks who are inexplicably famous. Celebrities have long been above the law, with their "punishment," on those occasions when they are actually convicted of anything, invariably being the "celebrity special" of community service/suspended sentence. In this case, however, I heard someone say on the radio (in a rarity, he was attempting a feeble defense of Paris) that drivers with her record normally do not serve any time behind bars. As a celebrity, it is shocking that she would be incarcerated anywhere, for any amount of time, for anything (let alone for DUI/suspended license stuff, which are mundane matters for countless numbers of pro athletes, none of whom are ever placed behind bars like Paris). As I understand it, Al Sharpton called publicly for Paris to be incarcerated and had the audacity to complain about her getting "preferential" treatment. I'm sure Rev. Al would have done the same thing if it was Whitney Houston, or Brandy, or Halle Berry, or any other black celebrity.

bigunreal,
I don't see it as a choice between Paris and Queen Latifah and all those others you listed: I don't like any of them. I'll take "None of the Above."

Maybe Paris is getting the 'harsh' treatment because she is a white celebrity..

Bigunreal, if I had to pick the lesser of two evils (between the rap-is-crap "stars" & Paris), it'd be her (as she's probably demonized to that extent because she is white).

Speaking of yoyoyo "rappers" being over-exposed, I've seen "50 pence" & Puff Daddy in "mainstream" commericals over the last week. It's so obvious that the Globalists are trying to normalize & hype these no-talent vermin as a continued distraction to create more brain-dead sheeple. It's all part of the Global Elite's marketing of evil.

***P.S. - I highly recommend the informative book on the subject...

yeah, all i keep seing on tv is paris this. paris that. when those sex videos of her came out i kept seing stuff almost like ''breaking news'' wow! she gave some guy a blow job, then shouldn't every porn star get the same recognition then? i have also asked so many people what they think or pars hilton and NOONE said they like her. not a single one. if any of us did what she did, we would get a much longer jail sentence and she can't even do 2 days? i am saddened by the state of american people in which they constantly try to be ''cool'', i don't watch survivor? or american idol? wow, i need to check my reality...i think someone actually said that to me once. sad.

I try to minimize my reality TV to UFC's "TUF". The only "SheepleVision" I watch is MMA, college football, some local news and a documentary here & there. For ("inactive") entertainment, I like to read a good bit, surf the net and have dialog on the web with informed folks like my fellow Caste Footballers. It's generally true statement that "television is the sewer-line into the home!".

Tired Old White,

Most celebs are rich because they're famous. But Paris Hilton is famous just for being rich. She didn't do anything but be the heir to her daddy's fortune and grouping at posh LA parties. I don't hate her for being rich. I hate her for being a self centered attention whore. When I saw a picture of her crying being hauled off in that police cruiser, I laughed. Welcome to the real world, bitch.

Actually no, they dont. The other day I brought up Kerry Von Erich in a conversation and they had no idea who he was. Of course these were people in their late teens/early 20's.
