Sorry I have been away so long. I don't know if what I write has been said already but here goes.

BYU rb Nate Carter is getting first team reps as of yesterday.

In bad news Rutger cb Tony Cioffi has been moved to Fs to take advantage of his " ball skills ". Yeah rigth.

Colorado State rb turned cb Trey Smith has been moved to wr. Bummer.

Something like a guy by the name of Walt Mazur a true freshman rb at Nebraska has been turning heads in practice. One report said he was the most explosive player in the state last year as an option qb.

Adam Buirge the Minnesota speedster recruited for corner has been moved to wr by N. Illinois though in good news they are keeping true freshman rb Sutton Smith where he is.

Western Michigan's Justin Tranquil looks to be staying at corner though it is uncertain if he wil play this year though many magazines have called him their best recruit of all time.

Micah Hanneman is challenging for first team reps as a corner for BYU. He is the younger brother of Jacob who was slated to start at cornr 3 years ago for the Cougars but opted to play baseball.

Akron has a true freshman rb behind Connor Hundley who is on scholarship but his name escapes me.

As someone mentioned Purdue signed rb Jack Wegher there is some confusion if he will play hte slot or stay at rb.

True Freshman Qb Josh Rosen has won the starting job at UCLA. He was rated the best qb in the country coming out of high school. Let's hope he makes a huge impact and has a good run at UCLA.

6'-6" 230 QB Carson Wentz with the 11 yard TD run to put powerhouse North Dakota State Bison up 21-13 over the Montanta Grizzlies..he also had a 19 yard TD run.

Maybe not as fast as Matt Jones; but fast enough; but Wentz is the better passer

He also had a 27 yard TD pass to RB Chase Morlock

Didn't know where to post this excellent early season FCS(D-1AA) match-up since it's not technically Week 1..

I don't know if he's that good. He gets a lot of hype because he is an atheist Jew.

Maryland terminates Coach Edsall.
I was rooting for Edsall and his program. I appreciated Edsall's old school approach, was reported when he came to Maryland he instituted dress code & conduct standards. But truth is Maryland hasn't been relevant for 10+ years. They had a couple good bowl wins back in early 2000s, but Terps have been very average (at best) since, both under Edsall & the last years of his predecessor.

On a side note, it also feels like Maryland's departure from the ACC has contributed to their recent invisibility. I think losing traditional, regional rivalries is hurting their football passion. I mean for now, who cares about games like Maryland vs. Purdue, vs. Ohio St. etc. They had a great Southeastern pedigree in the ACC rivalries. Reporting is that they'll be looking for a big name head coach replacement, to recapture 'excitement'. And at some point if the $ side of college athletics changes, maybe Maryland will be realigned back into an Eastern/Upper South conference.

I think that's pretty much code-word for trying to civilize a certain demographic from their TNB. A much better solution would be to avoid recruiting them in large numbers to begin with; i.e.) if the majority of their recruits were White, there would be no need for a "dress code" or "conduct standards".

The Big Ten wanted the East Coast TV revenue.

Unrelated news: USC head coach, Steve Sarkisian, was "sent home" from practice and will take an indefinite "leave of absence" from the program to address his "substance (alcohol) abuse". One 5-star afflete LB has already decommited, which is good news for their two current White LBs, otherwise I'm sure the he would've probably taken one of these starting positions.

Bad news as Florida Qb Will Grier has been suspended for the season due to PED use. He is going to appeal stating that it was an over the counter supplement - let's hope he wins and he is telling the truth.

Heretic, true. But a coach has to initially work with what he inherits. And I think a disciplined program (even discipline that may seem uncomfortably petty to modern players) benefits young guys of all races.

I've resented the way Tom Coughlin has been ridiculed over the years for his seemingly petty standards of discipline. Wasn't their a story few years back how he got on a player for showing up in flip-flops (?) But while DWFs were running old man Coughlin down, he was collecting Lombardis. And the Giants are always most dangerous when it counts.. Deep runs into playoffs are all about discipline & thriving under pressure.

Frank Beamer has resigned. I think the defensive coordinator Bud Foster will get the job - he seems to have been the coach in waiting. I doubt it will do anything in terms of recruiting and whitening up the roster as Tech has always recruited the very black areas of Virginia and has been a black quarterback friendly school since at least the time Vick was there. Good riddance to another old time caste stooge.

It looks like Les Miles may be out at LSU after this season. He has not been able to capture a national championship since he had Flynn, Hester and Steltz lead LSU to win it in 2007. His inability to find QBs during his tenure should be something he is criticized for - his only two standout QBs were Flynn and Mettenberger.

I am sure some other caste whore coach will fill his spot but at the same time if he is let go it couldn't happen to a bigger caste disciple.

Iowa State has fired head coach Paul Rhoads ... Rhoads, who has been a perennial loser, has only reluctantly played White athletes throughout his tenure, often seeing White walk-ons emerge as significant factors. that should have caused him to re-evaluate the talent he was bringing in to ISU, but of course it didn't.

a fine example is the Cyclones' most recent game (another loss). walk-on running back/slot receiver/returner, and fastest player on the team, Trever Ryen, accounted for the team's first 3 receptions which resulted in 36 yards and a quick 21-yard touchdown. he also had 2 kick returns for 50 yards.

he only touched the ball once more for the remainder of the game (a punt return). that kind of pathetic (lack of) use of talent deserves to be shown the door.

JC,

There are quite a few open jobs this year. It would be great to see a movement of white friendly coaches fill some of these jobs.

Totally agree on Rhodes getting fired. He totally underutilized Ryen and tried to scapegoat Mangino to save his neck earlier in the year.

Mark Richt has been fired as the head coach of UGA.

Les Miles keeps his job after the media speculation figured he would be fired after yesterday's game.

Virgina AA Head Coach, Mike London, resigns after six years.

Rutgers' Kyle Flood and AA female Athletic Director canned.

So far, quite a few Caste whore head coaches are without a job.

Frank Beamer has resigned...

Va Tech has hired Fuente (from Memphis) to replace Beamer.
What is the caste profile on Fuente (?) Do you guys think (in terms of color-blind fairness), this hire will be an upgrade, downgrade, or push from Beamer.

I have to plead ignorance on Fuente, curious if you guys can shed some light on Fuente's track record..

I would say it is a push at the best. Fuente does seem to prefer white qbs though whereas Beamer and va tech were a very black quarterback friendly school since Mike Vick. Memphis is a black team though with no white skill position guys or much on the defensive side of the ball from the games I watched
this year.

UCF has hired former Bowling Green Coach Dino Barbers as new HC. He seems to be a fair coach had quite a few pale faces on his roster at BGSU.. We'll see how he recruits now that he's in Florida. I'm holding out hope he utilizes white athletes but have a feeling he'll cave with all affletes in the deep south to fawn over.
