Hulk Hogan Banned from WWE for "Racist Rant"

Looks like an audio of Hulk Hogan using the "N-Word" has been unearthed and he admits to being "a racist, to a point, f*cking n*****s" ... in referring to his potentially mudshark daughter.

He did apologize

"Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation," Hogan says in a statement. "It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it."
He goes on to say that "I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.

I doubt even that would happen. OJ Simpson is never left off of the discussion of the greatest running backs or football players. Usually the narrator will start the discussion with regardless with what you may think of Simpson today....

Wrestling is completely manufactured and fabricated. Before the days of cable television when live gates fueled the sport, plot lines were repeated across North America until the two combatants hit the same town again. So erasing history or not mentioning him in publicity pieces is par for the course for that form of entertainment.
