If anyone is seeking entertainment without the cultural Marxism, race mixing and feminist agenda of Television and movies, then I suggest that you take a look at a form of entertainment that has not yet been overrun by the media elite... At least not yet.

Red Dead Redemption

Gran Turismo 5

Battlefield 3

Fight Night Champion

I own all these games except for Battlefield 3 which has not been released yet and I must say, anyone looking for entertainment that you can still enjoy without the total commercialism and multi cultural b.s. that is in so much of today's television and movies then this is for you. I'm sure some of the older posters here may have there reservations and doubts, so I will update this thread with new games that people on this forum would enjoy, along with some of the classics.Edited by: jcolec02

Yup, you even get to skin your own critters in Red Dead Redemption! Don't forget the add-on "Undead Nightmare", it's a hoot.

Got to admit, I love the first two Fallouts. There are women leaders though, one is even black.

Of course, from a Caste perspective, it's hard to beat Far Cry 2, where you spend all day dispatching various Untermenschen in a war-torn African nation while completing the gazillion different missions.

GREAT game!! I was wondering if anyone else had played this. You are absolutely right about the racial aspect of the game, I was actually surprised it wasn't boycotted by Al Sharpton.

Actually, you spend all day driving around.
For every 45 seconds of combat, you'll spend 5 minutes just driving out to your mission location. The design of the travel system of terrible. By the halfway point, it ruins any enjoyment to be obtained from the game. It did for me, anyway.
And, although gunning down tribals might be satisfying, the game's ending completely reverses that with a ridiculous twist. I won't spoil it here.
The game has some good points, and certain sections can be fun, But I wouldn't recommend anyone paying anything other than a 'bargain bin' price for it.

You did know you could take the bus across the map right?

I hardly play video games, but thanks to youtube, I checked out the ending to FarCry2 that Riddlewire mentioned. That is pretty messed up.

I'm not sure how you think that helps. The busses are at the far corners of the map. It takes just as long to drive to them as it does to your objective. Yes, they come in handy from time to time. But you'll often need to pick up ammo/grenades/health in the middle of a mission. Which means getting in a jeep and finding an outpost to fight and loot.

I have to eat before I play first-person shooters, or else I'll feel physically sick.

It's like a feeling of dehydration/being drained, and it's disconcerting..

Yeah, the ending is a disappointment in Far Cry 2, but I actually like the open world gameplay. I like the freedom to do whatever I want, and with practice, you can get around the maps FAST (well, as long as you have a vehicle). Most FPS games have you basically locked into a particular route and mission as the game sees fit. For that reason, I'm also a big fan of the Crysis games.

resident evil 5 is awesome!
you kill african zombies, and the game is great, like every resident evil
it can be hard but nowadays with internet it's not a problem
you can play with a friend on split-screen, it makes the game very fun

my favorite resident evil is the second one

Frederic, I'm not a big gamer. My brother basically showed me Red Dead Redemption and I fell in love with the game. I'll try that game though.

I also love Madden 2011. Just pick Danny Woodhead as the main running back and it's smooth sailing
