According to various sources, the fight is now very close to being signed.

David "Chef" Williams, the personal chef and training camp manager for The Ring Magazine recognized world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko of Ukraine, revealed today in an online post that a fight with WBA champion David Haye of the United Kingdom is "down to date and venue."

Williams revealed that in a cell phone conversation today, Klitschko said, "Sky [Sports] is being difficult about the date and we have several options on venue that we are both waiting to hear from."

According to Williams, sites in London and in Germany have been discussed, with both fighters co-operating on looking for the optimum deal.

Klitschko went on to say that the fight date "could be April 30th or sometime in May . . . but I think it will happen."

And today, this article from boxingscene cites various reports in Europe as saying it is close to becoming official.

This is great news but I will still have to see it to believe it. With a guy like Haye, he could back out all the way up to the last minute before the fight. He is a coward pure and simple.

I agree. I'll remain skeptical right up until I see Haye actually in the ring with Wlad.

But I'm hoping it will really happen this time. More than anything else in boxing, I'd like to see Wladimir Klitschko KO The Great Black Hype.

I'm the same way. I have to see the coward actually step into the ring before I actually believe it. I would love to see David Haye get knocked out right into the lap of his wigger trash trainer, Adam Booth.

I just can't believe Haye will fight one of the Klitschkos, he dont need too, he's not gonna get condemned by the media or the DWF's if he dosnt, and if he fights one of them, he "will" get beat up... Edited by: lost

lost, Gaye is bbq'd every week by one of the best boxing writers over at ESPN, Dan Rafael. Dan calls him the 'Ducker'. One thing I know, every man has a price. Gaye probably thinks ass beatdown is worth 10 million or more. Its approaching that number.

Yes but does he care. If he cared about it he would have fought one of the brothers a long time ago. In the magic negroes mind he's still the top fighter in the world.

We have to see what kind of excuses Haye makes this time.
Waldimir will be fighting Haye just 90 days after the Chrisora fight, that shows he's not worrid
about the haymaker!

Actually it's only about 60 days because he's scheduled to fight Chisora on the 30th of April and Haye on the second of July.

Well Haye has pulled out already!

Yep, the Gaye boy threw a hissy fit and pulled out already, not that she ever really wanted to get anyplace near a ring with either Klitschko brother in it. Let's see her legitimately defeat one single heavyweight contender (she didn't really beat Valuev) before she starts shooting off her mouth about being champ. How about Adamek? Fat chance. She'd rather shadow box with her pals, like Harrison.

AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! That didn't take long did it!!! The reason Wlad wanted to keep that fight with Chisora is for this exact reason, when Haye pulls out he still can stay active.

At this point if I'm the K Bros I would never offer him a fight again. 1. Deny him a very remote chance of winning a real championship. 2. Deny him millions in purses. F him forever. Let Gaye beat up on all of the British neverweres, has Beens, affeletic frauds, cab drivers and no hopes. Let's see how he makes money or becomes legitiment.

Typical loser-mentality projection by Haye. Even in his delusional mind (or at least in the subconscious of his likely IQ 60 brain), he knows he himself is the coward, thus he calls Wlad a coward.

Just watch. Haye will start saying Wlad is homosexual next. More projection.

Some of the DWF's actually believe Haye. You can check out the comments below the article. Vitali was even offering to have the fight in London but the pig Haye kept silent.

Also Daveyboy and Booth were trying to use exuses like other networks
would pay more money than RTL for the fight, so Waldimir only had one more fight under RTL,
andhe would be free to fight Haye on any network. good move on Walds part!Edited by: lost

Haye has no excuses. If he makes all these bogus claims regarding Wladimir then why not fight Vitali. After all, he said he could knock either brother out.
