2010 NFL Preseason

Gerhart's back in apparently (I'm following on Yahooligan.com), his YPC has gone down, but is still above 4- which is about the league average. He might be playing against 2nd team D right now, but he is probably playing behind 2nd team blockers and with a 2nd team QB attempting to open up the offense etc.

I heard Jason Campbell got knocked out of the game on a sack from Travis LaBoy...heard it was a pretty vicious hit...ill keep my eyes peeled for highlights.

I saw this during the game and though it was bizarre. Who the hell really expected him to get cut.

Max Komar had a great game!

Komar has been one of the great success stories of the preseason so far. Hopefully it will help him secure a spot on the roster, after Larry Fitzgerald the Cardinals do not have any depth at the position. It was also good to see Leinart respond with a great game

It's a stunner all right. Del Rio must have taken the wrong meds today.

I've always liked Bolen as a "Peyton Hillis type," strong as a bull with good speed for his size combined with running ability. He should be a power back who's used in the way Hillis is being used in the preseason with Cleveland.

Bolen ended up with 7 rushes for 26 yards and 4 receptions for 40 yards in tonight's game, the most yards on the team in both categories.

And who knows? With Maurice Jones-Drew reportedly having problems with one of his knees, Black Jack Del Rio -- like Eric Mangini, another coach with his job on the line -- may be forced to utilize Bolen as a running back even in the regular season. Wouldn't that besomething if it happens? Let's hope we have a Brock Bolen thread started soon.

The good news is that Gerhart appears to have wrapped up the #2 RB position behind AP to start the season. So for now, the ridiculous idea of him having a battle in his hands with Albert Young are over.

The Brock Bolen thing is truly a shocker, coming from Blacksonville no less. Here's hoping some of the black RB deal with injuries, which should open up an opportunity for him. I'm hoping for the same for both Danny Woodhead and Jacob Hester.


I think Peyton Hillis will get his carries regardless, and we'll see what Brian Leonard's role will be with the Bengals. I agree with an earlier comment that all we need is for one or two white running backs having big years and opening some eyes, and basically being the Wes Welker of the RB position. I have a feeling that door will be a bit harder to crack open than what's happened with WR, but I try to remain optimistic.

I think Bolen makes the Jaguars as the 3rd running back. Del Rio might be losing his mind or he might be trying to bring fans back too the games. Anyway I almost could not beleive what I was seeing while watching the game over the internet. Bolen can play tail back in this leauge, and play it well enough to earn some carries this year me thinks.

Gerhart had a decent showing and over 4 ypc!! Albert Young struggled.

their line is struggling. even AP, taking away his 24 yard TD run had only managed to have 13 yards on 10 carries. they need to step it up!

Some observations on the Vikings game last night:

Javon Walker played the whole game was thrown to a ton. He dropped the first three balls thrown his way, but since he made one catch for touchdown the DWFs will love him.

Gerhart now has the highest yards per carry among the Vikings RBs.

Logan Payne didn't see much field time. He had 2 catches for 19 yards.

Fullback Ryan D'Imperio from Rutgers has looked great both blocking, catching, and running with the ball. He had 2 catches for 22 yards and a TD. The TD was a powerful Run After Catch.

Garrett Mills has hardly been seen since his great performance in the first preseason game.

Brian Robison has been a beast in camp, but now that Ray Edwards is back it looks like he'll have to continue his apprenticeship.

Bernard Berrian and Greg Lewis suck. These two are the classic black recievers who are given about a decade of playing time to prove they suck.

With John Sullivan injured, the only white offensive starting lineman was Steve Hutchingson. All preseason the Vikings have been unable to pass protect or run block. It is their glaring weakness.

It's now becoming obvious even to the DWFs that Bryant McKinney is horrible. He's going to get Favre killed.Edited by: Kaptain Poop

Im hoping Logan Payne makes the team. In other news Antonio Bryant was cut from the Bengals.

Jason Campbell, Donovan McNabb, Josh Freeman and David Garrard have all gotten beat up in preseason games so far. A fair amount of White players have gotten injured as well, but the epidemic of blacks getting all kinds of injuries, from mild to serious, is astonishing, a continuation and intensification of a trend that started afew years ago. The lowering of standards when it comes to fitness, toughness and teaching fundamentals really seems to be biting the Caste System to its detriment, one of several factors now working against it and making its continued implementation more and more difficult.

Did you guys just see (during the Decker TD) Guard - D'Anthony Batiste? He was SUPER FAT!!

I was very happy to see Tebow throw a td to Decker. What a combonation that could be. Just like when he was throwing to Riley Cooper at Florida. It makes me angry that the media keeps saying Tebow won't be ready for 3 to 4 years. I think he could play now. He would have some growing pains but so do all rookies no matter how high they are drafted. At the worst he should be a starter by next year. The kid can play despite what they say. The hate for Tebow from fans, the media, and the opposing players is like nothing I have ever seen. They try to kill him out there. He is tough though and he will not back down. A true christian warrior!

Yeah, it looks like he is hated because he is a nice, Christian white male who is athletic, classy, good looking, has manners, and can actually play some ball. BTW, I watched an interview of him tonight, and the black female interviewer seemed to be miffed that his jersey was the #1 seller out of all the players in the black NFL. Go Tebow!

It was great fun watching the Steeler's trio of future HOF QBs perform this evening after Big Ben was done.

Has there ever been a more sorry group of QBs assembled in a team than Dixon, Leftwich, and Batch? How stupid are the people in Pittsburgh to continue and root for this team which is more black than I ever remember it being, even under the disgraceful caste-clown Bill Cowher?

Tomlin is a clueless, racist hack who lucked out by winning a SB with Cowher's players, and I sincerely hope he's exposed this year and as long as he's the coach of that team. It will be a pleasure to root against this team in 2010. Edited by: foobar75

I just tuned in the Jax-Tampa BayCoal Bowlsnooze-a-thon in the third quarter and it looks like Raheem's Dreem Teem has drawn about 7,500 bored fans. Field goals abound, zzzzzz. The Caste System is part of the Cultural Marxist/corporate ruling structure and has its own momentum and dynamics. It isn't changing of its own accord just as nothing else in the U.S. is changing no matter how dysfunctional America's insane experiment with "multiculturalism" continues to getand no matter howangry the American people continue to get. No one dares to buck it no matter howridiculous it's becoming, even as it is spreads to coaching, scouting, broadcasting, etc. Our job is to continue to document, expose and mock the charade, because it is oh so mockable.

To add tothe astonishment over Brock Bolen being used as a tailback (see earlier posts in this thread), the Jaguars, believe it or not, are also using Chad Kackert out of New Hampshire at tailback in this game. On onecarry a d-lineman threw Kackert to the turf for an apparent loss, but he showed amazing balance and refused to go down, turning the play into a nifty gain. Play by play announcer Chris Myers showed only minimal interest, just as he did when John Matthews made a terrific TD catch right before that. Matthews' catch was thrown by Luke McCown, who relieved David Garrard. Garrard couldn't manage to get the team into the endzone all game, but McCown did within a few plays. McCown has played great all preseason and is clearly a better QB than Garrard, but there's no quarterback controversy to speak of. Big surprise there.

I'd guess if the NFL was 10% or 15% more white, but more particularly if the NFL allowed a handful of white RBs- and more white WRs and white running QBs- that NFL jersey sales would go up slightly and that's it. Many DWFs love to pick just a few white underdog "overachieving" performers for their jersey collection (those rare white freaks). There are many black players' jerseys that sell a lot as well.

I'd have to guess if there were a lot more white defenders and white RBs in the league, that when many of the white RBs outperformed the black ones- that the DWFs would think of excuses. They'd talk about the whiter D being slower, but tougher- and the strong white RBs just being better at doing battle against a D with power, with supposedly lesser moves and explosiveness. That doesn't make sense to me. Supposedly a fight of power vs. power would result in a push- or go to a bigger more powerful defender who can hit the RB who supposedly hasn't got the speed or moves to find the seams/openings. In short I think many DWFs would get more tired of the "overachieving team players" and long for more primadonnas like T.O and Ocho Cinco who are more flamboyant and funny to watch and listen to in interviews than those "boring"Â￾ white team players.

Lastly, the NFL makes most of its money off of TV deals, tickets etc. anyway. Plus, most of the jerseys and NFL clothing is owned by the entire NFL. The Redskins have a successful independent clothing line, so they could benefit from a popular white RB like Peyton Hillis a bit more, but they already have fan favourite Clinton Portis. So, "in the entire league overall"Â￾, I don't think more white skill players would make the league barely any more popular or profitable at this point.

Your response was exactly what was going through my head as I read the article! Talk about the kiss of death, when a caste-a-file like Del Rio starts talking about how hard someone is working then they are really in trouble. Black Jack wants loafers and malingerers, because to a coach like him, nothing says NFL level talent like low effort in pre-season games!!!!

It's amazing that they can write this stuff with a straight face. In other words, two dropped passes, which probably resulted in the team having to punt, are okay, as long as there are a couple of "explosive"catches to "make up for it". In a sane world, a team would instead take four "pedestrian" catches to keep the chains moving. And what exactly do they mean by "explosive catches", anyway? That he "looked good" making the two catches?
