The main events on this card are lame. I can't believe they think this swill is worthy of a PPV on Showtime. Hopefully Arlovski doesn't humiliate himself against the hideous slug, "Bigfoot Silva."Â￾ He should be ready, as it's been almost a year since he was KO'd by Rodgers in seconds. AA hasn't had a quality win since he KO'd Roy Nelson (the only person to ever accomplish that).

I'm not sure who'd I'd rather win the Overeem vs. Rodgers fight. I suppose Rodgers, since he would be much more likely to defend the belt"¦unlike the Steroid-Boy, who only fights in Dream, and hasn't fought in Strikeforce since 2007. Some "champion."Â￾

Both Strikeforce and the UFC will be forever illegitimate, so long as the world's most dangerous wrecking ball, Fedor, is left out of heavyweight title bouts.

Well said Thrashen. The card sux indeed, & UFC should have cut the mustard & signed "King" Fedor. I heard Fedor's (juden) manager demanded M1 be co-promoted (with Fedor) & that was the sticking point.

FYI, AA's been training with Greg Jackson's camp (Jackson/Winklejohn) & Bob Cook...2 of the top trainers in MMA.

Yeah, outside the caste matches not much here. Would love to see AA get another title shot. I kinda hope Overeem wins as the media, DWFs and black racists will be crowing about how the steroid addled freak is the great black hope to finally lift the title from Fedor.

But Overeem (a mulatto, not a true Negro btw) used to get KTFO at 205 by the superior white athlete so what will Emelianenko do to this roider?

By the way, I used to like Strikeforce but it is getting blacker and blacker even as their talent gets worse and worse. I think this might be the favorite organization of DWFs and beta male types who hate it that these UFC rejects (outside a few top athletes like Fedor, Shields, Hendo ..etc) cannot hang with the big leagues and guys like Lesnar, Carwin, Griffin, Rua, Couture, Sonnen, Maia, GSP, Fitch, Florian, Edgar, Maynard and other true alpha males of MMA.

I want overeen to win, but I think Rogers is probably going to destroy him. First off Overeen has been on a two year layoff. Second Kickboxers don't do well against wrestlers. Rogers will probably just push him up against the fence and knee his body, like he does in every match. By the was is it just me or is strikerforce getting blacker and blacker.

I don't think either Rodgers or Overeem has any distinct advantage. Their height and weight isn't much different"¦Rodgers is about 10-15 lbs heavier and an inch shorter. Overeem has much more ring experience. Rodgers has never submitted anyone, Overeem at least has a few submission victories.

To give credit where credit is due, Overeem's knees are pretty good, and his striking is quick. With enough steroids, any moderate fighter can be a star. I think he has over 10 losses...and he literally lost to every single "big name" guy in Pride. I'd prefer Rodgers over this druggie fraud.Edited by: Thrashen

I'm hoping for a draw...via simultaneous KO's.

... Happens all the time in Pro Wrestling Dixie! Randy Orton and John Cena hit each other with a steel chair at the same time and both are knocked out in the middle of the ring. I would love to see Rogers and Overeem end up the same way.
I guess I will be pulling for Rogers because at least he gave Fedor a good test and did a nice ground and pound on him in the first round before he got knocked out in the next round.

I see afflete Brett Rogers got the crap kicked out of him again. Too bad it was by another afflete. I would like to see Overeem vs. Fedor. I was looking at the comments on Youtube and many of the DWF's are saying Overeem will beat Fedor. LOL. I guess they truly are drunk!

Fedor's defense can be lacking at times, and, against a bigger/longer fighter like Overeem or Lesnar, Fedor could realistically be defeated by strikes.

I like Fedor's striking and aggressiveness and I rate them highly, but he won't be in his "prime" for much longer, and a few losses could be on the horizon. The mighty lion eventually ceases to be mighty...

I'm not sure Brett Rogers even landed a single meaningful punch against Overeem. Rogers is a tough guy, but he seemed really intimidated.

To my knowledge, Overeem has never actually tested positive for anything"¦but that's the advantage of fighting overseas. Fedor's management supposedly didn't want to fight Overeem because of his infamous drug usage.

Anyway, he'll need all the help he can get after Fedor's fight with Werdum. If Fedor was smart, he'd try to submit Overeem rather than trade strikes.

Fedor should pull a Mayweather and make half-Caste Overeem agree to random blood testing before the fight.

That's probably what it will come to. I want Fedor to fight Overeem, he hasn't had a challenge in quite some time. After he blows through Werdum, he will have a huge fight to prepare for, one that will be competetive for once.

QUOTE]

I heard an interview with Fedor a couple of weeks ago & he said his negotiations over the past few months fell through due to a broken hand. He broke his hand when he Ko'd Brett Rogers & wanted a full recovery. He said he wasn't able to train for a few months & didn't want to fight in April or May because he felt it would be rushing things & wanted full health.

I saw on some other websites that his management stated yesterday that when Fedor is done with Werdum he will fight Overeem.

I sure hope Fedor doesn't start fighting past his prime and get beat.

Fedor's sambo is far too much for "juiced to the gills" blOvercream. While I'll give Alistair credit for taking the blame for his losses, he needs to lay off the sauce...it's going to his head.

"blOvercream" Explains Why He's the Man to Beat Fedor

Here's why he's not in Fedor's league...of "blOvercream's" 11 losses...2 were to Werdum, 2 to Nog, 1 to Shogun Rua, 1 to Liddell (via KO), 1 to Richardo Arona & 1 (last one) to Sergei Kharitonov (via KO).

I noticed that nearly always when a Ethnic dutch like Peter Aerts , Sem schilt etc. look nearly always thinner then blacks when they are the same weight or same weight for their height.I first thought it becuase blacks look leaner but last fight Peter Aerts was very lean too at 250 lbs but looked just with a bit big muscles but for example Overeem his opponent had much much more muscle volume but wasn't much heavier in weight. he was also called the heaviest when In fact there was a white dutch that was heavier 293 lbs at 6-11 which is less then 10% taller but was more then 10% heavier but much thinner.

have blacks lower muscle dencity.Have blacks more volume muscles at the same muscle weight?

Any body else noticed that black fighters have often more volume then whites.they have nearly always thinner less volume calves but that doesn't makes up for it.

I've heard storys from alot of different sources about Overeem using steriods. I know for a fact he was offered a contract by UFC for a rematch with Liddell several years ago, and turned it down. This was before his K1 career. If you look at him now vs him when he fought Liddell, he has gained forty lbs of muscle. I think also muscle tone shows up better on darker skin.
