16 more picks to go. McGaha and White may not get drafted.

At this point..it's pointless...they can be free-agents now and fit better with a team...White, McGaha, Simonds, Konz, Slate, Dickson, McCarthy, O'Hanlon, Pawalek, Mayberry, Cutreraall should make a roster regardless

At least Tedy Bruschi thinks Gerhart will spell Peterson a lot, to take some pressure off of him.

Another black pick by the Steelers. I think they're trying to stay away from all those troubled white athletes.

Fightingtowin: I'm done with the Steelers til Tomlin and Colbert are employed elsewhere.

Riddlewire: To be fair about Cody Slate and his draft status, he did tear a knee ligament late in the season(I was at the game), so it might just be better for him to select from the best FA contract offer.

You're right in saying he is one of the more talented TE/H-back types out there.

Jack Lambert: You posted earlier about the declining number of white men on the Steelers' roster.

I'd forgotten about Travis Kirschke calling it a day, and Rocky Boiman is no longer around. I've got to believe that Tyler Grisham won't even make the practice squad this year, and Patrick Bailey will get shown the door after the team drafted so many afflete LBs.

The Steelers will probably open with K/P/LS, Miller, Spaeth, Hartwig, Smith, Keisel, and Hoke.

I doubt that linemen like Kraig Urbik and Doug Legursky will even get a legitimate chance to make the club in '10.

And Big Ben will come back a few weeks later to give them at most 10 white men on the 53-man roster.

Therefore, there is no reason to be a Pittsburgh Steeler fan anymore, IMO.

They won't get any of my time or money in '10 and probably beyond.

What I plan to do this upcoming season is pay close attention to the stats and highlights of the key white players we have on other teams.

3 consecutive white defenders...Spitler, Lorig & Hull...almost a spit in the face this late

Mr.Irrelevant this year is....WR-Tim Toone Weber State...with chants of "over-rated" from the dwf's

Tim Toone just got picked and is already hated and reviled by the idiotic DWFs.Edited by: Jack Lambert

The combination of being white AND having the last name White was too much for teams to overcome.

Seriously though, this is really weird. Maybe the league is anti-dentite.

At least Blount, with his mudshark girlfriend, went undrafted. But weird that Toone and Marinari got picked before McGaha and White.

Only one good thing about this draft.
Blount didn't make it.
Although I'm sure every team is contacting him now. Each just didn't want to be the one to draft him with the recent focus on player behavior.

Let's see, Shipley, Decker, Meier, Cooper, Mariani, and Toone, so yep, 6 WRs did get drafted.

Although McGaha and White should've made it.
