Jon Scheyer Playing While White

Jon Scheyer who will be a senior is totally ignored by the media especially the white jock sniffers.Scheyer is never listed in any NBA mock draft. NBA draft.net doesn't even list Scheyer among the top 70 NCAA players who will be seniors. In my opinion he is clearly better than Gerald Henderson who was , laughably , a lottery pick.

Here are some of Scheyer's accomplishments last season: 1. MVP of ACC tournament 2. By far the best Duke player in both games against champion UNC. 3. In a game I attended Scheyer for much of the first half outscored the entire Xavier team. 4. Played most minutes of any Duke player which to me indicates Coach K, believes Scheyer was his most valuable player. 5. Jay Bilas , analyst on ESPN several times stated Scheyer was Duke's best defender. In the last third of the season Scheyer was Duke best player and I believe leading scorer. He had an excellent assist to turnover ratio.He was third in scoring with 14.8 pts/game but IMO, he was ignored by the affletes numerous times when Scheyer was wide open for a three.

I have read opposing head coaches' statements about Scheyer. They all debunked the racist label attached to every white guard and small forward i.e. can't create his own shot. Bullsh-t. Jay Wright, Seth Greenberg, and Gary Williams all said Scheyer can definitely create his own shot.

If I was an NBA GM, I would take Scheyer over Henderson. Scheyer can play both point guard and shooting guard. The second racist label attached to all whites guards and and small forwards , can't guard in a man to man defense. I defy anyone to inform me which player on an opposing team was too quick for Scheyer except maybe Lawson. Lawson , by the way , a lottery pick is shooting one for fifteen in the NBA summer league.

The scum at NBA draft.net are as racist as the Nation of Islam. The only difference is they are probably all white.

Great analysis of Scheyer's game JWhite96. Jon has long been one of my favorite players to ever play at Duke and he should at least be a mid first round pick in the NBA with his diversified game and ability to play both guard positions. Too bad for him that he is white.

Uhh Sorry fellas. Jon Scheyer isn't White. His nickname is "Jewish Jordan".

i've watched virtually every televised Duke game since Scheyer was signed. i've NEVER once heard him referred to as the "jewish jordan." so regardless of whether he has jewish ancestry or not, it's obvious that he is seen as a White player.

I've never seen the kid play or heard of him before. I just looked him up after reading this post. I look up almost every athlete that is posted on this website in every sport.

Anyhow, sorry I was wrong. I misread the article I found on him. He isn't nicknamed "Jewish Jordan" this other guy is but it implies Jon Sheyer as the new Jewish Jordan, I read quickly & am sure you could see where I misread. Here is the article that I found on him.

Then why "Doc" are you sharing an opinion on a player you've never seen or heard of? If you've never heard of Jon Scheyer, you shouldn't be on the college basketball board.

But the original premise of this entire thread is faulty, anyway. Scheyer is the #15 college senior at Draft Express, which is a far cry from "never listed in any NBA mock draft."
