They probably drafted him to replace Tony Pashos or take a guard's spot. As the Jags signed sumo Tra Thomas this offseason.

Let's see who Al Davis takes here.

Looks like Everette Brown will get picked by Carolina. Hopefully Unger and Barwin will get selected soon here. They should both be taken yet today.

I am very pissed about Knowshon to Denver. Hillis literally produced like the best RB in the league his last two games before getting hurt. He had 5.9 and 7.3 YPC in his last two games and a TD in each (one of which would have been a 50+ yarder without the end-zone).

And what does McDaniels do? Brings in 3 black RB FAs and then drafts Knowshon.

The Maclin pick I can live with in Phili. Curtis should still get plenty of PT, at least for now.

Connor Barwin to Texans!

The Texans are sure on the right track in this years draft, they just selected Connor Barwin.

That makes it two white defensive players in the first two picks for Houston. Two guys that can start straight away too.

Green Bay and Houston really look like they will be teams to cheer for next season.

Buffalo also seems to be making strides.

It's looking that way. The Texans re-signed David Anderson after he had signed with Denver as a RFA, and also began playing some whites on defense toward the end of last season even before these two nice picks today.Edited by: Don Wassall

Who the hell did the Al Davis just take with that pick?

I will definatly be cheering for Houston, Green Bay and Buffalo next year. The Broncos picked another "afflete" a S from Texas Tech.

RBNY123- I agree, Collie is a better player than Britt, Nicks and Robiskie. Britt drops key passes quite often. Nicks is pretty similar to Collie, but I think Collie runs routes even better than Nicks (quite a compliment) and Collie ran a slightly better 10 yard dash (Nicks probably has slightly better long speed). Robiskie isn't nearly as productive as Collie.

Running QB Pat White picked before Stephen McGee. McGee is a slightly better QB IMO, but White has a shot at contributing a WR.

Denver is my new least favorite team. McDaniels seems like an Ego maniac, hell bent on completely remaking the team in his image. The team would have been a super Bowl threat if he kept the same guys and they stayed healthy. I hope Denver goes 0-16 if they refuse to play Hillis who "at least" earned the right to "compete" for the 1st tailback spot. If Hillis isn't even given 2nd team carries this season...*#%*!! Well we all know the NFL.

i wonder whether we'll have any more whites drafted in round 2.

btw i am happy for Barwin he seems like a good guy from what i've read and saw of him. (wonder why NFL.com insists on listing him as a TE?)

Yeah, McDaniels seems to be really antiwhite coach. Denver is right down there with blacksonville now. The 'Boys are on the clock for the first time. Maybe they might pick a white player.

i think jason boltus could be a steal at qb. Played for d3 hartwick but worked out at the combine and put up similar results at the combine as all the top three qb's. He is big at 6'3 225 and pretty quick. I think my cowboys might go after him or stephen mcgee because they need a qb for the wildcat offense. I'd be happy with either.

Tampa may be down to a single white on offense if they go with a black QB. Chicago and Denver are also trending blackward. There's going to be more overwhelmingly black teams than ever before this season with all the sumo tackles being taken.

The Bills take another white O-Lineman, Levitre!

Certainly making strides at the OLine.

The Bills have picked Andy Lavitre from Oregon State. The Bills are in reverse from their sumo line from a year ago.

Is David Veikune white? I haven't seen him yet.

after fielding sumos, i wonder whether their pre draft acquisitions and taking two white OL are pure coincidence?

5 whites taken with 12 picks to go. not too bad.

The NFL is definitely colour blind.
