'92? Ewing was goal-tending against UNC in '82.

Great news! I was going to post on Lee but J41181 beat me to it. My internet connection hasn't been working right, so I couldn't post last night. Lee is a monster!

David Lee can do it all. He is the leader of the Knicks. He scores, rebounds, assists and blocked shots. The kid can jump out of the gym. I have seen him in many dunk contests. He has never lost one that I have watched. He needs to get into the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. David Lee can do all of the dunks that Kobe and other stars do. I have seen him do it. Get in the dunk contest and win it. That would be huge. Brent Barry won the Nba Slam Dunk Contest around a decade ago and now I hope it will be David Lees turn. Let's see if he is invited to enter it.

Ditto on the slam dunk contest. I saw David Lee win some ESPN dunk contest a few years back and now that he is getting all this attention, maybe he will get a invite.

I'm just hoping to see David Lee in the All-star dunk contest this year. I still remember his baseline dunk a few years ago in a dunk competition where he tossed the ball high in the air, took of his shirt and dunked the ball. It brought the house down.

Sorry to disappoint you fellows, but David Lee will NOT be in the Slam Dunk Contest!
Joe Alexander or Rudy Fernandez will be on the other hand.

Merry Christmas to one and all!

We need to go vote for Rudy or Joe. The fans have a vote on the fourth participant this year.

Joe Alexander has some great dunks on his resume. here's hoping he makes it.

guys like him with a good vertical, creativity, and some power that are around 6' 8 are usually the most fun to watch.

with Joe "White Flight" Alexander (yes, that is my new nickname for him, but i bet others have already used it) in the contest you have a big guy a small guy and two swing men -- well balanced.

To be honest with you I'm more concerned with getting whites in the Allstar games then I am with them getting into the Dunk Contest.

Dirk Nowitzki is a sure LOCK,

Steve Nash might NOT make it,

Pau Gasol's chance rests in LA having the BEST record in the West
and Jackson as the All-Star coach,

Andris Bierdrins is OUT,
Jose Calderon has a SMALL chance,
smiley5.gif

David Lee you WISH,
Hedo Turkoglu I DOUBT it,
Chris Kaman is OUT,
Zydrunas Ilgauskas has a SMALL chance, King James might vouch for him

I'll be DAMNED is Yi Jianlian becomes an All-Star, he's only making 9 POINTS a game.

Another 30 point game for David Lee in another Knicks victory. Lee is averaging over 15 points a game to go with his 11 boards a game. Why isn't he on the All Star Team. At least he has finally got a home in NY and he is quickly becoming a fan favorite. This is another guy who could easily win the Nba Slam Dunk Contest as I have said many times before. He is an athletic freak of nature. Keep up the great play David. You will make some all star games in the future if there is any justice.

I have been writing in David Lee in my NBA all-star vote every day. He should be on the official ballot and not some write in candidate.

Does David Lee play center?
If he plays power forward, then he should be among the top forwards in the East. After Lebron there aren't a whole lot of good ones.

He's a great player, and one of the best rebounders in the league.

15 pts. and 11 rebs. are great. Nobody talks about him, which is odd.

He is still young. he should be an all-star one of these days.

It's amazing how still relatively obscure David Lee is even though he is playing in the big media capital of New York.

Another great game for David Lee. While Amare Stodemire from the Suns can't rebound but always makes all star games. David Lee scored 25 points and pulled down 16 boards to lead the Knicks to victory over the Suns. This guy should be an All Star hands down.

Good find fourty-four, I watched the video. Great dunk by Lee. What's with the "somehow" crapola? There is a racial tinge to the title of that youtube video.

Good point. You're absolutely right too. I didn't even notice the title above the video. I think the video speaks for itself and David is one heck of a player.

It's ambiguously titled. It could mean, as one of the comments below it says, that Lee still made the dunk in spite of being hacked by Amare.

Also, note the comments below the vid. Not real polished, but it shows again that CF is getting the word out. There's more people now speaking out in favor of white athletes and white athleticism.
