I really wish Mike Wessel(6-0) good luck there aren't many good heavyweights in UFC and Antoni Hardonk is a very tuff opponent for any one. Personally I think they are trying to hype up Pat Berry dispite him only fighting three guys all easy opponents. Meanwhile Dave Herman is 22 and has a record of 12-0 and has destroyed all of his opponents. I look at the card and it looks like a race war every other fight is a white vs black. this pay-per view should take place in a prison yard.

Would much rather see Okami - Lester than CB Dollaway.

It's ridiculous that guys like Chonan, Hardonk, Lister, and even Matt Hammill aren't on the TV card while guys like Dollaway get national exposure.

Good point. Lister is an ADCC champ & the other folks are also UFC vets. I'll be pulling for CB, but he should be on the undercard(s) for now.

I don't get it either because the winner of the Lister Okami will probably be the next to fight Anderson Silva, seeing as Bisping doesn't want to fight him right now.

Taking Mir over Nog. Probably wrong but every time I watch Nog fight his reflexes seem to get slower and slower.

I'll go with Wand over Rampage for the trifecta and Griffin over Evans.

I'm really interested in the Kongo/ Al-Turk fight.

Too bad about Al-Turk. Friggin' kongo.

Poor Wanderlei.

I got one right with Mir...hot damn! I almost put money on him but chickened out. Nog's stand-up defense is crapola.Edited by: Poacher

Thales Leites is scheduled to fight Anderson Silva next April in Canada.

SPOILER ALERT</font>

Rashad Evans TKO Forrest Griffin Rnd. 3
Frank Mir TKO Rogueiro Nogueira Rnd. 2
Quinton Jackson TKO Wanderlei Silva Rnd. 1

Forrest won rounds 1 and 2, got knocked to the mat in round 3. He survived some weak ground and pound while attempting some subs, before Evans landed a couple of hard shots that put Forrest on queer street. Ref stoppage.

Mir dominated Nog, knocking him to the mat 3 times with strikes in round 1, then putting him down for good round 2.

Jackson's boxing was far superior to Silva's. Silva attempted a multi-punch combo which Rampage handled 1-2-3 before throwing a text book left hook with full hip and upper torso pivot. Put Silva out like a light.

Disappointing night of fights.

Damn that sucks that Forrest lost; especially with him winning rounds 1 and 2. Just seems like he got caught letting himself vulnerable for a second.

wtf is a 'craker?' you ask?

According to freedictionary.com a 'craker' is one who boasts, a braggart. So did you mean to give a hearty F-U to all the boasters and braggarts on this site, or did you just misspell 'cracker?'

I'm guessing from the rest of your post that you misspelled 'cracker.' Nothing like using a word you can't even spell to insult someone.

Not sure why you'd choose to insult the only people around who are likely to commiserate with you in your misery over this loss, either.

Forrest doesn't have much of a ground game and it was finally evident last night. With the slippery bodies and Forrest's bigger frame, he would have been better off trying to roll out even if he gave up side control or his back. With all that sweat a RNC would be hard to accomplish - any submission would. Forrest stayed in his guard recieving punches like a confused frightened child.

It looks to me like the Lt.Hwt division is pretty weak. Lots of not so good newcomers and old retreads. I don't expect Rashad to be champ long.

Forrest has an excellent ground game. He has submitted both Shogun Rua and Chael Sonnen, and won a decision over Jeff Monson, of all people. Just because you don't submit a guy in your guard in the third round of a championship fight doesn't mean you do not have a decent ground game.

From my perspective, Forrest kept his cool and attempted a couple of submissions from his back. He did try to slip out and Rashad ended up in side control. Forrest took several punches and elbows while on his back before Rashad landed one that rocked him and enabled him to put Forrest away. As a matter of fact, Forrest took quite a few hard shots right on the jaw from Rashad and was never hurt til the third round. So much for him having a weak jaw! C'mon people!

As far as Rashad losing his title any time soon, I disagree. Rampage will get the next title shot, and unless Jackson takes him down I see Rashad knocking him out, too. Let's go down the list - Shogun, Chuck, Rampage, Wanderlei, Forrest, Lyoto, Thiago Silva, Dan Henderson.. who is most likely to beat Rashad in that group? Before last night, I'd have picked Forrest and would actually still pick him in a rematch anyway.

I'm not throwing Griffin under the bus because he lost to Rashad Evans. Griffin beat both of the #1 ranked LHW in the world back to back before losing to an undefeated fighter who just brutally KO'd the longest reigning LHW champion in UFC history.

Yeah, it sucked that Forrest lost but the BS patriot is spewing and knocking Forrest after one UFC is ridiculous.

LHW is pretty stacked up.
Quinton Jackson will beat Evans I think if they fight.

It sucks for Griffin, but the guys lack power to make opponent respect him it seems. Maybe i'm wrong. Evans is a cool dude, he is showboating too much for me, but it's not worse than Irvin in my opinion.
The guy I cant stand is Kongo, he seems like an animal with no head on his shoulder.
I would feed him up to Lesnar or Carwin, or even Gonzaga. I hate that f**ker, he did it on purpose, the knee in the jewel, in retaliation. No respect, just a f**kin animal savage.

I agree. The ball shot he got hit with wasn't even square in the jewels it was a glancing blow on the thigh. And he acted like a baby for five minutes, just like an 'injured' black player in the NFL. Rashad hit Forrest in the balls and he waved it off and kept fighting.

I can't stand Kongo and hate the fact that the UFC will end up putting him in a title fight just for diversity's sake.

Brock will destroy Kongo and everybody here knows it. Forrest will be back. His problem is he has little margin for error in his fights due to his lack of one punch or kick knockout power but he will be champ again. Bad night overall but I enjoyed the Mir/Nog fight.
