Patriot, good list...I also like Rothwell, Nelson, Whitehead & Jardine (that Alexander loss was a fluke IMO) too. I'd also add Jon Fitch to that list, as he's been red hot in the UFC and hasn't lost since 2002. Hopefully, Brock Lesnar will live up to his potential and make an impact (depends on his stand-up, chin, cardio & submission defense). Also, I'm hoping Sherk comes back strong from his suspension...I love his work ethic & training regimen (sans the "sauce").

30 year old Heavyweight Travis Wuiff won the Yamma pit Tournament defeating Tony Sylvester, Ricco Rodriguez, and Chris Tuscherer in that order. Chris Tuscherer looked very impressive as the runner up though. Despite suffering his first loss; he did pull out two impressive victories. One of those victories was against talented Russian Heavyweight Alexey Olenik.

Travis Wiuff looked very impressive in Japan at Sengoku 3 today. Wuiff Koed Kazuyki Fujita In the First round On a pretty good shot. Wuiff 31 has been looking like one of the best Heavy weights out there. I really would like to see him go to UFC.
Also Nick Thompson looked good with a submission victory over Micheal Costa. Thompson 26 improves his record to 36-9-1 and he has won his last 12 fights. Thompson much like Martin Kampman is one of the most underrated fighters out there. Thompson has beaten some of the best fighters at 170 and has yet to get the recognition he deserves.

Gotta add Wiman after his performance at UFC 85. Stunning display of jitsu and stand up against really tough competition. Helluva chin, too!

Tonights Elite XC bout was a good one. I am ashamed they didn't chose to put it on network tv. If you have Showtime you got a good show. 23 year old heavy weight Dave Herman 6'5 260 looke impressive in a victory over very talented Ron Waterman. Herman koed Waterman in 2 min into the first round
The Main event featured punk Yeve Edwards and Very underrated Karl James Noons. Noons 6'1 170 took no time pounding away at Edwards and ending the fight 43 seconds into the first round. Noons also beat Nick Diaz three months ago with a first round stoppage. This is the same Nick Diaz who defeated Gomi.

I think Dave Herman would destroy Kimbo any day. Kimbo was afraid to fight Waterman. Herman is definitly the future of MMA. I hope when Elite XC falls UFC picks up Herman.

Let's hear it for Dave 'Blueberry Muffin' Herman!

The guy has a great sense of humor, has charisma, and can fight. Could be a rising star for real. But he still trains by himself and I wonder how far that will take him against real competition.

Yeah, that was funny as hell. And how about Noons's dad going after Diaz during the post-fight scuffle? Awesome!

Oh, and speaking of charisma, Diaz has to be one of the most uncharismatic athletes out there. He was dreadful in his post-fight interview. Edited by: JD074

Dave Herman got another ko victory this time against Kerry Schall. Herman Koed him in 66secs in the first. Elitexc has done a terrible job of marketing Herman if he were with UFC he would be a main attraction. Herman is 23 and looks like he has been fighting forever. Herman improves to 12-0.

Kerry "MeatTruck" Schall is a hoss. He's fought Fedor & other quality fighters. No doubt Herman isn't getting the marketing push from (pro-caste) EliteXC as they focus on the "Bimbo Lice" & gorgeous Gina Carano gravy train!

More Prospects
Todd Dufee 6'0 220-record 4-0. I don't much about him but he did havea tko victory over Assuero Siva a former UFC heavyweight contender.

Pat Barry 5'11 230- age 31 record 3-0 in mma. This guy is built. He started his career asa kickboxer fighting in K-1 and is now training under Rich Clementi to learn MMA. He will be appearing at a UFC fight on dec 23 and will be facing Dan Evensen.

Joe Abouta- age 26 record 4-1 he also a freak of nature he's 6'3 255 and is very well rounded he is from the Washington area the same place that produced Jeff Monson. He big victory was a secong round submission of Carlton Haselrig. Haselrig was one of the best colegate wrestlers ever at the heavyweight ranks. Many people though of him as an older Brock Lesnar. Abouta dominated him.

Mike Campbell- 4-0- Trains under Mark DelGrotte in Somerville, Mass. Began his Career as a boxer and was very good. Del Grotte who Trains both Kenny Florian and Patric Cote calls Campbell the best striker he's seen.

Dave Herman wins another first round tko. He defeated Chris Guillen in 1min 28 sec. to improve to 12-0. Why isn't Dana White tring to sign this guy. Personally I think he has more upside then Shane Carwin due to fact that heis 11 years younger then Shane.

I'm looking forward to see who Shane Carwin fights next. A Carwin/Lesnar fight would be great down the line.

Carwin is a monster (like Lesnar), that would be a good match-up. However, I'd like to see Carwin dismantle Caste pushed Kongo or "Brown Power" Velasquez first!

here are some Heavyweights I don't know much about but have looks impressive in limited competition.

Josh Curran record 3-0 6'2 260- I don't know if he is related to Jeff. But He does have a victory over Roy Nelson.

Mike Wessel- 6'3 250 record 6-0- Ufc's looking to give him a try.

Josh Queen-6'1 230- record 3-0 I seen him on Youtube. He is somewhat raw, but personally I think he is a better striker then Kimbo.

Buddy Roberts- 6'2 230 age 24- record 6-1 Has fought some pretty good midlevel competition for someone who is only 24. currently trains under Shamrock.

David Yost- 4-0- Another young fighter who is very promising.

D.J. Linderman- 2-0- can't find much info on him, but he has beaten twovery good fighters.

Aaron Anspach- 0-0 age26- Penn State All-American/coach looking to possible make the transition to MMA. Cole Konrad is training with Lesnar but hasn't said anything and Steve Mocco might be looking to give the olympics another try.
