Purdue goes down as the Big Ten racks up another chin-scratcher of a loss. Not from any of its white-friendly teams, though.

Hard to decide between watching the Syracuse trio or Winthrop's Chandler Vaudrin go against Nova's Chris Arcidiacono.

Boeheim has 16 of Syracuse 's 19 points, and the other 3 were scored by Dolezaj.

#11 Syracuse up by 14 at the half over #6 coal black San Diego State. SU's overachievers have 29 of their 32 points as the Orange hold the Aztecs scoreless for the final ten minutes of the half. A weird thing is that both Boeheim and Girard have four point plays.

the three White athletes have dominated for the Orange in this Syracuse-San Diego St. matchup, so far. Dolezaj hit their first 3 points, followed by 16 straight points for Buddy Boeheim, then after the only basket by a non-White player, Girard hit for 10 straight.

the trio has also accounted for 9 of the team’s 12 rebounds, 5 of the team’s 6 assists, and the lone blocked shot.

defensively, the Syracuse zone has absolutely stifled the “dynamic” SDSU affletes, which went scoreless for the final half of the first half.

it’ll be interesting to see how the second half plays out.

Just switched over to the Nova/ Winthrop game to see Vaudrin! As soon as I turned on the channel I see a Cole Swider 3 go in!

Crazy 30 point performance from Buddy Boeheim as Syracuse routs the all-black #6 seed. Girard had a 12-6-7 statline too!

Boeheim and Davison were dominant in their teams' blowouts today, and Colin Castleton was the star in Florida's OT win. McClung and Silva also led their winning teams in scoring today. Awesome performances today by some of our guys.

Yes, it’s been an overwhelmingly positive day. Our teams have won most of the Caste matchups and we’ve had some outstanding individual performances that you’ve highlighted.

Boeheim has actually had some fairly white-friendly teams in the past 20 years. Gerry McNamara, Eric Devendorf, Trevor Cooney, Tyler Lydon, Christian Onagut (sp) and several others whose names escape me played prominent roles on those teams. On the other hand alot of his rotations have been coal black also.

Buddy Boeheim finishes with 30 points on 7-9 three pointers as the Orange blow out SD State. A great finish to an excellent first day of the tournament!

Was very busy working today but have been checking the box scores and my favorite sports broadcasters here at Castefootball.us Thanks guys. I need to watch some of these hilights. I agree
with Jimmy Chitwood that it's odd but fun to finally get to root for Syracuse. They look great with 3 out of 5 starters for us. Boheim is a very good player averaging over 17 pts a game this season. He
is only a junior so next year should be great with both him and Girard returning next season.

Wisconsin and many of the other schools we like looked great. I'm looking forward to watching Iowa tommorow along with Byu and a few others. :)

I have always been an ACC fan but yesterday except for Syracuse, they felled flatter than my ex-wife's breasts. They had four teams to lose yesterday the first time ever a conference has lost 4 games in the first round.

Devendorf was mixed, thought he was just a huge wigger the whole time he played. Girard reminds me of McNamara. Screw Boheim, these coaches always play white players when their kids play for them. That way their kids don’t see them getting disrespected and humiliated in the locker rooms like the loser cucks that they are.
The exception would be Underwood, who blackens up every white team he goes to. His walk on kid sucks and knew his dad was a loser before playing at the end of the bench for him.

Underwood coached a very white Stephen F Austin team for three seasons from 2013-2016. He only coached Oklahoma State for one year, which isn't enough time to overhaul a roster one way or another. This is his fourth year at Illinois: I believe he inherited the commitments/scholarship of his top black senior (Donsunmu) as well as his one white rotation player (Bezhanishvili).

I agree that he's made no overtures toward recruiting white players (and I mentioned this in my writeup), and I think it's kinda cheesy that his son seems to be the first guy off the bench in blowouts. Realistically though, the younger Underwood is a grad student walk-on who will leverage the experience to kickstart his own coaching career. This isn't like Drake Stoops at Oklahoma magically being the only white receiver the football team has featured in memory. Off the top of my head, Danny Ferry at UConn, Tom Izzo at Michigan State, and Juwan Howard at Michigan also coach their own walk-on sons. Boeheim and Iowa's McCaffery brothers are uplifting exceptions to the rule, being that they play meaningful roles on winning teams.

There aren't very many power conference teams starting three white players like Boeheim, and even fewer who made the tournament.

Games of note today:
#14 Eastern Washington at 1:15pm
#1 Michigan at 3pm
#2 Iowa at 6:25pm
#4 Virginia at 7:15pm
#8 Oklahoma at 7:25pm
#1 Gonzaga at 9:20pm
#6 BYU at 9:40pm

Four clear favorites, two close matchups, and an underdog. Here's hoping for another day of great outcomes!

Yea, Boeheim hasn’t been great over his long career but seems to have become noticeably more fair over the last 10-15 years.

A few other Whites he coached were Andy Rautins (2 years in the NBA), Ronny Seikaly and Danny Schayes. Seikaly and Schayes go back aways but they had very long and successful NBA careers.

Eastern Washington is giving Kansas all they can handle at the moment, led by the two Groves brothers who are currently shooting lights out. EWU is offsetting KU’s superior size by immediately double-teaming anytime a Jayhawk post player catches the ball. if the Eagles can limit their open play turnovers (which frequently result in easy fastbreak buckets), they’ve got a real chance at pulling the upset.

edited to add: and now a stellar defensive play draws the third foul on KU’s leader, Garrett.

Wow, 46 first half points for Eastern Washington! Both Groves brothers have 16 points already, shooting the lights out.

A shame Eastern Washington drew Kansas 1st round. 82 points against a Blue Blood deserves respect!

He inherited and won with a white SFA team. He recruited nothing but blacks once there. Fair point on OSU but again not a white recruit. Illinois he now has one incoming out of a sea of affletes and one white muslim.

The guy at UCLA that played at Indiana did the same thing. The ones that have loser walk-ons buck the trend a little. Mccafrey would have an Iowa State roster like at Sienna again soon if not for yet another promising HS son on the radar. He will after that though.

Tanner Groves finishes with 35pts, 5reb, and 2 blocks ! He's most likely headed to Europe as NBA is only interested in low skilled affletes.

Jacob Groves with 23pts, 9reb, 1blk, 1 steal! Only a Sophomore. Should be a Star last few years he has left.

Braun chipped in 10,5, and 4 for KU. Shitty 2-10 though.

*Excellent didn't realize Tanner has another year

35 and 5 for Tanner, 23 and 9 for Jacob. Strong effort in defeat. The good news is they'll both be back next season (junior and sophomore).

Wtf is this tv show “Chad” relentlessly promoted by TBS? It appears to be a “comedy” about a high school kid named Chad, played by a woman? Effin weird.
