Trey Hendrickson with the sack! The previous play they were hyping up Davenport saying he really compliments Jordan, although Trey was the opposite end getting pressure

I don't really get the discrediting of him by fans, except for the obvious lack of melanin, blaming him for Cam Jordan's lack of production and it seems this is the narrative the media is going with too (claiming the Saints really missed Davenport). But Trey played roughly 40% of last year's snaps mostly on passing downs and was getting pressure and commanding double teams

They are really treating Prescott's injury like some sort of national tragedy.

LOL I was just thinking about that. It's too bad, but c'mon.

It's not a career ender by any means.

Yea. I feel bad but am also really interested to see how Dalton looks. I have been saying since Prescott became the QB that many QBs would excel in that offense with that supporting cast. Now my hypothesis is going to be tested out.

Now Idler Arm is being treated as a victim of circumstance rather than Herbert being obviously better than him. Taylor proved what he was in Buffalo.

I feel bad for the guy (I was an ER nurse, I've seen what compound fractures of the ankle are like), but the media need to learn to put things in perspective. At the end of the day, football is just a game.

Thanks that's what I was trying to get at but you said it a little more eloquently than I did :campeon:

Best thing about all three of these TDs - they are on the Saints black DBs/LBs

Granted he is easy to miss but Bosa played several snaps in the first half. They have been using him on obvious passing downs. They said he has been dealing with triceps and knee issues.

Taysom Hill ties it with the rushing TD. Herbert makes a great throw to get the Chargers into position to win it wit a fg.

If it is - he's going down swinging. He does look a couple notches below his prime but still has it.
I don't think he's much different than previous years (as in the last few years, definitely not prime Brees). Many Saints fans are clamouring for Winston to start because "Brees can't throw deep". He's never had a cannon but has been a master of the short to intermediate passing game. Not to mention he isn't getting much time to throw out there and at his age I'd be trying to get rid of the ball quickly too lol.

I feel like the use of Hill sometimes can be clunky and unimaginative, disrupting drives. I feel like if they are going to use him the game plan needs a few more wrinkles. He had a nice TD but every use of him other than that this season it seems the defense had a perfect answer like they knew exactly what was gonna happen.

Perhaps Sean is waiting until the post season to use Hill more creatively but at this rate they might not make it. The defense is terrible. Trey and company get pressure but the defensive backs are probably the worst in the league. I don't understand how a team can only rush 3 on the qb and they still complete a 60 yard pass. That's 8 people in coverage and all the dbs just looked lost. I'm supposed to believe these are the nation's best athletes?

That is hilarious that Saints fans are calling for Winston. Just goes to show how idiotic they are.

The whole Taysom Hill experiment has been a flat tire so far this season. They were without their best WR last night ( Thomas punched a teammate) so when he comes back I imagine Hill will get even less snaps. Which is the opposite of what I would do if I was the coach. I would at the very least double the amount of snaps he plays a game which would keep defenses more off balance. I'd line him up as a QB/WR/RB/TE. I also see Payton still has him playing on all the special teams. I'm sorry if you think a player is a "QB" there is no way in hell he should be playing Fetch Rover. Maybe Tampa Bay should consider moonlighting Tom Brady on special teams too? Which tells me Payton is not serious when he says Hill is their future QB.

Looks like the Bills-Titans game is on tonight. WR Adam Humphries is out due to COVID and I think the Bills LB Milano is out for the game too. I believe WR Cole Beasley should play after a foot injury last week.

Belongs in news section but I'll squeeze it in here. I think WR Alex Bachman is back on the Giants practice squad. Call him up. The Giants WR core is sub level and combine hero non blocking TE Engram has been a flop. And is it me or is the Giants OL the worst in the league? QB Daniel Jones has no chance and it is amazing he pulls off what he does. He has zero time back there.

Happy to see Taysom get that TD but was still very underused. Herbert continues to impress as well, looks like a bright future there

John Brown is inactive for Buffalo, which should help Cole Beasley, who's already having a fine season.
