Lemaitre has a very good reaction time i think but it's not very good after, we have a good impression because no one run against him (second in 6.79) so i think we will see Lemaitre run 10.12-10.15 all the saison and maybe a 10.05 will be his best performance of the year ...

http://www.sudouest.fr/2014/02/23/pml-avait-des-ailes-1470514-4585.php

Translating above:
One would have thought that the Olympics would have served as a lesson, but apparently not.

Lemaitre did not work at all, he was injured and could not train for 10 days just before his meetings every 4 days that did not give him time to catch up with these sessions missed.

Result - the guy in this situation ran 6,60 on a track reputed among the slowest of France (cf the article below)

The same race on the track of Mondeville or Liévin and equates to 6,57 - looks much better and everyone would be impressed.

If it had been 6,63 as in France 2014 on the same track I would have been a little disappointed but not with 6.60, which I find very respectable especially when we know his preparation.

As for those who compare it with the 6.55 he did before, they do not understand that previously he was fully prepared, it was a goal especially for the European championships in Paris where he ran the 6.55. This time his training program was no longer the same, this time it was just for fun.

We are not comparing like for like.

Then they say it will be 10.12 best all year, my god that's naive. One might expect a better analysis than this kind of shortcut worthy of athletics, but no

I'm prepared to wait and watch - he looked sharp for this run. I'm still hoping for a sub 10 again

Je vais répondre avec mon pauvre anglais.

When we see the OG i thought, "he find his top speed, great" but we can see this year it's false. In 2010-2011 he did 6.55-6.58 with poor out of block, now he did 6.60 with a good out of block but after it's low. The key of best Lemaitre is his top speed, but he probably lost it.
The only différent between his 6.62 and 6.60 certainly his reaction time.
And his apologies of injury ... he did his stage well, maybe a little pain, but i see him in Lyon when he should run, ( i run the same day, and i warmed up in the same track) and his warm up was totaly normal.
He doesn't prepare his indoor season ? He never prepare indoor, in 2010 he did 6.55 without big competition. In 2011 yes maybe he prepared his season but he wasn't be better than 2010. In 2011 was just more constant. And seriously why he doesn't prepare indoor ? When so called he did, he run better the summer so come on prepare indoor.
You said my analyse his bad, but you don't know without 2013 his split time in 60m in summer are very similar of his SB on 60 indoor. So if we don't see him in 6.55 we couldn't see him in sub 10.
So maybe in London he will be in shape and it's the most important, but yes the rest of season it will be poor, and it's annoying

WHAT A JOKE !

NORMAL ? really ? you are a doctor ?

2 days after meeting of Lyon, Christophe should run in meeting of Düsseldorf and he did'nt run because injury

Christophe said :

"I felt much better that to Mondeville, confessed Lemaitre on the website of the French Federation. Miss him still velocity and rhythm, which prevented me to succeed a best time. I rectified things in technical terms, it's not bad. I'm missing a few sessions of longer sprint because with my injury,I could work only my start and my action implementation. This will get better over the coming races. »

MADARA knows more than Christophe about his injury, his pain, his training, i'm very impressed :)

Where is the Joke ? The strenght of Lemaitre in 2010 and more in 2011 was the 30-60, since 2014 it's very low for him (look he made 0 differents against Rodgers in Paris), when he could run 2.59-2.62 in this split, he actually run 2.64-2.67 , oh weird ... the différentes between his time in 60m in 2010. He is better in the first 20m than 2010-2011 but he is very less between 20-60. And Why ? Because he lost his top speed, but you tell me one time he doesn't need to re find his top speed but a best speed resistance ...
So tell me, where is the joke ?

I don't know if you ever see him IRL and his warm up, me i do, and not just one time. And i can tell you his warm up in Lyon was totaly normal, believe me or not i don't care, but you prefere the same Lemaitre excuse's since 2012.( I'm sure you think it's true for deficiency in vitamine for OG in 2012 :risas3:) In Lyon and Dusseldorf he didn't run because he didn't want do a bad time, just an apprehension .

After maybe you suppose 2 or 3 training will achieve him to win 0.05... it's your right but let me think you are a little innocent.

And i didn't answer about the slow track, 7.52 with a bad start for Martinot Lagarde, and 7.53 - 7.54 for Manga when he had a 7.71 record. Yes surely a slow track.

What level and age bracket of track do you compete at? What are your preferred sprint distances? Mine are 100m and 200m outdoors and 60m indoors. I am competing in the 55-59 age group

I compet in 60- 100 since last year, level low close to 7.60 and sub 12 in 100. But i do too Long Jump. I am 22. In reference i'm better on 60 but it's depend too much of start :)

If you beleive all you read i'm worried for your vote to Presidential election this year.

Ah ah populism ! Your are funny RCSMAN ! Madara said right, Lemaitre run sub 10 regulary when he does 6"55-6"56 the winter. When he does 6"60 and more he run 10"07-10"10 regulary. This is reality since 3 seasons in the raw. But reality is not your thing, you are a big preference for dreaming. In february 2012 you predit 9"6 and 19"4 for Lemaitre. 2 year after when you saw Lemaitre stagnate you say maybe 9"8 and 19"6. And also 6"45 in indoor. After 2 season in 6"60 you expect 6"45, really ? So the joke here it's you RCSMAN !

Those are good times. When I was 17 I ran legit 10.59 100m, now I run 12.57 100m and 7.90 60m, I did not run 200m last year but 2 years ago I ran 25.98, doubt I will hit that mark again lol

Ah ah, in july 2015 you say : " for me Lemaitre do 5"77-4"25 without wind in Moscow 2013. "

It's not a little mistake of appreciation, it's a big mistake of appreciation. In fact the split of 60 is 6"53 (+0.4). So is more like 5"69-4"33. 0"08 is nothing :) You saw Lemaitre in 3"40 in the last 40, but reality is 3"48. It's Nice to dream :)

Whoao 10.59 in 17 it's really good. You should be in first place of the category in France last year :). 12.59 and 7.90 you are close to do world master championship. :ARMS1:

RCSMAN you try to decredibilise me but Fred show us you said lot of ********.

You can desagree with us but don't tell us we are idiot and stupid, you show in the past with incredible bad prediction.
