Carraz /Christophe bashing for years and then Christophe succeeded to get a medal. This kid will always amaze me. Congrats to him and also to Kevin Mayer who got the silver in the Decathlon.

Congrats to Slott Petersen the Danish women who got silver in the woman's 400m PB, National record, silver medal awesome race. Feel a bit for Hejnova as she got edged out for bronze, 4th is decent result as she is coming off an injury which severely limited her preparation for the Olympics.

I'm so happy for LeMaitre. The first white sprinter to break the 10-second barrier is now an Olympic medalist in the 200 meters! He did the people of Europe proud in that race. Congrats!

Another white sprinter (Clayton Murphy) won bronze in the 800 meter. The Rio games have produced some amazing and unexpected caste-busting results.

Congrats tu Christophe Lematire. What a comeback! One to remember for many years. Maybe this will help him
to get back to taking scalps on a regular basis next summer. So happy for the guy.

Bronze for Lemaitre? Wow. Been following the Lemaitre story for a while, and it looked to me like he was heading for dropping out and opening up a bar with Craig Pickering. Considering how bleak things had looked I'll take a bronze any day. This is great news.

Christophe was incredible. More on him on his thread, but here I just want to mention Kevin Mayer, his compatriot who had an epic run in the decathlon. Mayer pushed Ashton Eaton right up until the last lap of the last race. Mayer's performance was the sixth best of all time, and he's only 24. He earned the silver.

Anyway, Christophe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha . . . Japan beat the US in the 4 x 100m.
3.5 Asians beat 4 of the fastest black guys in the world.
When will people learn?!

Congrats to Japan.

Also I'm glad you brought up Kevin Mayer. The guy is an stud. So athletic and he will only get better from here. I
really thought he might win. Epic performance against the best Eaton who holds all the records.

Why were the Japanese not dq'd as well, they had at least 2 lane infringements that should have resulted in disqualification. It happened to Canadians in London 2012 when the third leg stepped on the line without impeding anyone else's lanes yet they get dq'd, the Japanese do the same thing twice and are not disqualified....

hmmm who is the host country for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games...hmmmm

Great matchup on right now in the gold medal men's soccer final, Germany vs. Brazil. Rematch of course of the 2014 World Cup semifinal when Deutschland humiliated Brazil 7-1, also in Brazil. In the Marxist spirit of Merkel, Germany started 3 non-whites. Brazil started 5 or 6 Whites including their goalie. Sometimes it's really hard to tell the genetic makeup of some of those Brazillians. Brazil is up 1-0 at halftime. Here's hoping the Germans can come back. Epic matchups like this are the reason I love international soccer.

You get disqualified for stepping on the line and the runner runs a shorter distance, or when you step on the line and impede another runner. The judges deemed that no distance advantage was taken and there was no interference with rival runners.

Nick Willis, now 33, has been a consistently top athlete against world class Africans. He's tough as nails and races well as his Bronze today dictates

Nobody here talked about the sad state of affairs that women's sport can enter if Caster and her(his) friends invade xx track and field and combat and team sports. Seeing the final was terrible with Semenya toying with world class female 800 meter runners and the stiff legged Wambui use superior strength to hold her/his running form over the photogenic Canadian.

Ps seeing Seymena celebrate brought back images of King Kong....

NBC THROWS FIELD EVENTS UNDER THE BUS!!!!
The programming clown who is responsible for this tragedy should be fired. The field events--discus ,hammer throw, shot put, pole vault ,triple jump, long jump and high jump were simply ignored by NBC and their affiliated channels. We got snapshots and a blink and you will miss it synopsis of the medal winners. The live argument is bs. Yes I know the field events often take place during the running events but all NBC has to do is tape delay the field events action for an hour or two and present a 30 to 40 minute mini movie that presents the events naturally as they unfold. For me the high jump is extremely exciting as it builds to a climax. Athletes soaring and I mean soaring through the air trying to clear the high bar. The other field events especially the jump events are exciting as well if presented properly in a step by step way. Not lost on me is that five of the 6 medalists in the high jump were white. White women swept the event as media darling Randall Cunningham's young daughter crashed into the bar with the grace of a bull. Maybe she will be great one day but not this go around which I was happy to see. Gravity got her.
Lets get down to brass knuckles. The best way to determine the greatest leapers in the world is to put up a bar( or wall) and say to the athletes clear it bitches!!!!! And you know what white athletes did clear the bar.
There were also some white medalists in the triple and long jumps.
With all this astonishing white leaping ability on display Dan Patrick, a guy who never really registers with me, could only point out the leaping ability of a Brazilian volleyball player . Heck what about Matt Anderson from the USA Dan? Doesn't fit into the grand narrative I guess.
Also NBC did not show the bronze medal team crossing the line of the 4x400m relay instead focusing on the USA and Jamaica. Rule of thumb NBC show all the medal winners cross the line. You will have plenty of time to display the USA squad afterward.

Interesting that the video is deleted from youtube (cbs sports channel). I don't know but I can bet it was because of comments. Who wants a man-woman to win a women's sporting event? Is that person a man (xy chromosome) or a woman (xx chromosome)? That is all we need to know, and that would also settle the bathroom issue. Is everyone going insane in this world?

It's all very simple. They are referring to Semenya as "intersex" which has no definition in the real world. All that we need to know is xy or xx. That information is said to be "confidential". Gotta keep those trangenders happy in their world of delusion!
