I figured I'd get the thread for Euro 2016 started a bit early (Matra gave me the idea), so that we're able to start discussing things, and hopefully give the soccer/football section a bit of a boost.

As I did with the World Cup, once final rosters start coming out, I plan on giving an overview of roster and teams.

With the tournament expanded this cycle, there will now be 24 teams participating in the finals, which give a boost to all-white teams in the competition. Teams like Northern Ireland, Iceland, and Wales are all participating in the tournament for the first time.

Without the set roster, I'm going to assume teams like France, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, and Turkey, and England, will all have at least four non-white starters, and therefore, will be the teams we'll be primarily cheering against.

The next "tier" if you will, is comprised of teams that will start anywhere from 8-10 whites. That tier will consist of teams like Germany, Austria, Wales, and probably Sweden and Ireland, as well as the Czech Republic if Selesie is still playing for them.... The rest of the teams should be all-white, or very close to it.

Of course, there's Albania too, from looking through their team, and seeing a picture of their starting XI from eariler this year, they look to be this year's version of Bosnia: racially, nearly all-white, but of course, Muslim as well. I guess, cheer for them at your own choice. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing them do well in a group that consists of France and Albania West (Switzerland).

It should be an exciting tournament!! I'm excited for it to begin!!

That Swiss team at the last World Cup was a disgrace. Yesterday I watched part of the Switzerland hockey game (against Kazakhstan). The entire Swiss was white and I think all but two (Raphael Diaz and some Canadian turned Swiss) had distinctly Swiss German/Italian/French names. Quite the contrast with the soccer team.

I can't believe the Swiss would allow that to happen with their soccer team; and they're one of the "conservative" Western Euro nations when it comes to their politics, with the Swiss People's Party the largest party in Parliament right now to my belief. Hopefully, they experience a turn around.

In addition to Gundogan being ruled out for Germany yesterday, now Belgium's Vincent Kompany is expected to miss the Euros. I'm assuming that means one more white starter for Belgium, pushing them up to ~8 or so white starters.

good things could happen in this tournament but a lot of bad things too, france has an easy group with non white teams, and there are many all white teams or almost all white teams but we don't really know what to expect of them
so i'm curious about how it will turn out but i'm not too confident
iceland has been building that team some time ago and now they got the results they hoped for, in an impressive way, i'm curious to see how they will do

Judging by the teams they come from, the Croatian EURO team should be very strong and all White.
The middlefield consists of Luka Modric (Real), Ivan Rakitic (Barca) and either Mateo Kovacic (Real) or Marcelo Brozovic (Inter).
The attack is Mandzukic (Juventus) and Perisic (Inter). All players that have had a fantastic season. On the bench - Kramaric from Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, Kalinic from Fiorentina and Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb), all high quality players.
The defense is less spectacular but still not bad with Subasic (Monaco) the goalkeeper, Srna (Shaktar Doneck) and Vrsaljko (Sassuolo in Serie A, but rumored to be in Man City next season) as fullbacks, Vida (Dinamo Kiev) and possibly Lovren (Liverpool) as center-backs (although Lovren has some problems with the coach and is in doubt). Not bad for a country of 4 million.
Name-by-name one of the strongest teams in the Euro. The issue is that these players rarely play together and are not exactly close-knit. It will either a Euro to remember or a big disappointment for the Croats.

France with (1 in 3.5) are favorite to win the EURO according to bookmakers, followed by Germany with similar odds. Of the all-White teams, we have Spain in the third place with odds of 5.5 to 1, followed by Italy (1 in 16), Croatia (1 in 33) and Poland (1 in 50). England have a 1 in 8.5 odds, Iceland 1 in 100. Northern Ireland (1 in 350) and Albania (1 in 500) are the least favored.

Danny Welbeck re-injured his knee and will be out for 9 months, obviously missing the entire UEFA EURO 2016 as well as the first half+ of next season's EPL.

That should help whiten up another Western Euro team. With Gundogan out for Germany, and now Welbeck, that's two probable players going down. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is out of the Euro squad as well. A lot of the squads will be released within the next couple of weeks.

Iceland released their Euro roster recently; of course, an all Icelandic squad. Go Iceland!

Russia, Turkey, Germany and Spain are the nations I would support the most out of those that have qualified.

Russia almost always features an all-White team, on occasion there are one or two borderline White Central Asians which is much more pleasing to the eye than the Negro-laden sides of France, England, Belgium, and so on. Turkey typically starts 11 ethnic Turks, which is sonething I have a great respect for as the team accurately represents the country it comes from. It was awesome watching the Turks qualify over Netherlands, a side that was sonetimes starting 6 or 7 Negroes. Turkey is a team of Turks much better than the Negro-laden sides of England, France, Belgium, and so on.

Im also a big supporter of the German and Spanish powerhouse teams. Was so awesome watching both sides win the WC. Spain is like Russia and Turkey in that the team is largely made up of ethnic Spaniards. The German national team is fairly multicultural, but its a good kind of multiculturalism not like the African look a likes in Western Europe.

Also cool to see the smaller, White-friendly teams that have made it such as Iceland.

Leicester City were 5000-1 longshots to win the English league but they did it. Maybe we'll have a similar upset here? Id love to see Russia win it, but Turkey, Germany or Spain would also be awesome.

Looking forward to the tournament. Ill be rooting whole heartedly for France, England, and Belgium to lose as well as any other team that plays an inordinate amount of Negroes.

Belgium released their 24-man (to be cut down to 23) roster today, and it's absolutely pathetic. 11 out of 24 non-whites, including no whites in the midfield, plus their obligatory all-black strikers.

France also released their 23-man roster today, and it's even worse: 13 out of 23 non-whites, with Yohan Cabaye the only white midfielder. At least their attack should be fun to watch, with Greizmann, Giroud, and Gignac all making the team. It sucks Valbuena didn't make it.

I think it's safe to say: these two will easily be the most disgusting teams in the Euros.

At least Vincent Kompany isn't there. I guess that Champions League injury was serious. Eden Hazard is captain.

Poland will be a great team to root for during the Euros this summer. They'll be featuring all-world striking talent Robert Lewandowski, who's coming off an astounding year with Bayern Munich. In addition, every man named in their provisional squad is white, and also Polish, (with the exception of a Polish-Brazilian. Tiago Cionek, who is of Polish descent though, so he's not some mystery meat). Poland beat Germany 2-0 during qualifying this year as well, so they can be a dangerous team. They're in a group with Germany, but I think they can beat Ukraine and Northern Ireland to advance. Ukraine/Poland will likely decide who qualifies with the Germans out of Group C. With Lewandowski, Poland will be dangerous. Hopefully, they're able to make a run into the knockout stages...

Probable all-White teams playing at Euro:
- Spain
- Romania
- Russia
- Hungary
- Poland
- Croatia
- Iceland
- Albania (culturally/religiously mostly Muslims, genetically White)
- Italy
- Slovakia

This makes it 10 out of 24 teams. Most of the all-White teams are from ex-communist Central/Eastern Europe (7) or southern Europe (3).

I'd also throw in Ukraine and Northern Ireland into there as well. I'm 99% sure Ukraine is still all-white, as is Northern Ireland, although there is a chance that Northern Ireland may have a black sub make the 23 man roster, but it's not for certain. It's pretty sad that only 12 out of 24 European teams will be all-white. What a disgrace. I should say 12 out of 23, as Turkey isn't exactly a Euro country. Although, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Austria will only have 1-2 minorities on their respective teams. Switzerland will in all likelihood be pretty white as well, but I can't stand the fact that they play so many Albanians. I wouldn't care if it were 1-2 on the team, but it's a disgrace when nearly half of their probable starters will hail from a very different country not near Switzerland.

The Balkan countries can always put together a good starting 11, it rarely clicks for them, IF Yugoslavia hadnt been dismantled by NATO they would have to favourites every year given the talent spread.

One of the best World Cup performances by Yugoslavia was during the 1990 WC in Italy. They had players of the calibre of Dragan Stojkovic (Serbian), Dejan Savicevic (Montenegro), Robert Prosinecki, Robert Jarni (Croatians), Safet Susic (Bosnian) etc. - all players that built great careers in top European clubs. They eliminated Spain in the round of 16, but were eliminated in the QF by Argentina on penalties. Had they proceeded to the semis, they could have easily won the whole thing. However, it was their last WC together. One year later, Yugoslavia disintegrated.

I forgot the Ukraine which definitely is all-White, but I think N.Ireland has at least one Black player (Josh Magenis). The Czechs have Gabre Selassie who is Ethiopian, Sweden has several Arabs/Turks, Austria has David Alabba and possibly a couple of more Turks/Arabs.

Roy Hodgson released England's provisional 26, which features 3 white keepers, 2 out of 7 white defenders, 7 out of 10 white midfielders (if you include Ross Barkley, whom some do not), and 3 out of 6 white forwards. There will be at least a pair of black fullbacks on the pitch at all times, since no whites made the cut there. I have no idea what the starting eleven will look like, but it seems conceivable that England will play 8 whites sometimes, which is better than expected for them.

I'll be looking to see if Hodgson omits Wayne Rooney from his roster instead of mega-bust Raheem Sterling or new media darling Marcus Rashford.

Germany's lineup is highly disgusting, but we all saw this coming based on their vile U-21 squads, which have long been bloated with Negroes, Turks, and Arabs. Couple this sad fact with a coach (Joachim Löw) who has a proclivity for non-whites, the omission of various quality white players (Kießling, Volland, Durm, Kramer, Kruse, Ginter, Großkreutz, etc) and the retirement of veteran starters such as Phillip Lahm, Per Mertesacker, and Miroslav Klose and this is the miserable product.

Of course, I'll still hope the best for star white players like Götze, Müller, Schürrle, Reus, Kroos, Neuer, Schweinsteiger, etc., but this squad will be impossible to root for over all-white rosters such as Iceland, Northern Ireland, Poland, Russia, Romania, Croatia, and several others. At least all the "important" players will be white...

It's not all "doom and gloom," as Germany's U-17 team looks to be all-white...

Unfortunately, 6 out of the 7 minorities on the roster will most likely make it (with the exception of "star" Leroy Sane, who's got German/French nationality...) I also count Mustafi as white; even though he's Muslim, he certainly looks the part. I don't want him starting, but I'd rather have him in the team over Rudiger and Can. Volland, Durm, Andre Hahn, and BPL winner CB Robert Huth should all be on the team over these bums. Loew said he wouldn't call Huth up because he's too old... Are you serious?? So you won't call a good player up because he's too old?? Makes total sense; might as well lose with bums like Rudiger trying to "play" football. The team could have been worse; Gundogan is already missing the tourney due to injury. As Thrashen mentioned, I'll hope the best for the white players, but won't be able to root for Germany over the all-white teams in the group. I'm hoping Schweinsteiger recovers fast enough to start over Khedira, who's also coming off of injury. Screw Loew and his affirmative-action diversity boys.

Don't teams have to cut to 23? Hopefully 2 or 3 of those invaders will be cut from Germany.

Couple of comments, first of which is that Albanians aren't always Muslim, many are in fact atheist in fact a majority of Albanian people self-identify as being atheist. I certainly don't consider Albania a "Muslim country", more like a "Non-Religious country" or "Non-Practising Muslim country".

Secondly, re: German national team. Mustafi is White. Its bizarre that people can confuse race and religion. Ok, maybe culturally he is different. But he is 100% white in fact he looks whiter than many of the "white" German players. Ozil and Can are both White looking Turks. Ozil in particular could easily pass as being Italian or even Russian. He looks White. Incidentally, both have had fantastic years in the English League and thoroughly deserve their place in the team. Ozil has definitely been say a top-5 midfielder in the BPL this year (probably the best passer in the whole league). Can has also been a pleasant surprise for Liverpool. Good on the ball and a good knack for defending.

I agree that Huth's omission is inappropriate. Huth has been one of the unheralded heroes in the Leicester City triumph and his defending has been top-notch and stable all year. Deserves at least a spot in the 23.

so 2 of the favourites, germany and france, will have very non white teams
it will be interesting
germany at the 2014 world cup was branded "multicultural" by the media but had only 3 non whites on the squad, which made them one of the whitest in the world
this time it seems very different from what you guys have posted
regarding their non white players bellarabi is both arab and black
he has a black mother
