Caucasian is not a word I use ever. I am from the UK, not America. In the UK, we use the term "white" to describe white people and "black" to describe black people, etc... I will support Adam, no problems, but I can not call him white.
The good thing is that it is great Adam Gemili is he running fast, but he is not white. He is of Moroccan Iranian descent.

Yes, probably north african people have some of subaharan descent. And Spain, Italy (almost south italy...) and Turkey could have some north african descent. Do you remember Othello? What is the problem? Every people in the world are in some way mixed. It's a problem only if you think that there are differences between polpulation in the world. I don't think so.

I think that Gemili is very important to demonstrate that there aren't differences between blacks, whites, browns, light browns, reds, yellows, dark yellows, light yellows or any colour in human peoples...
I think that Lemaitre could run under 9'90 but only wind assisted. He demonstrated in th past to be very regular. But he is very thin. And the start is the problem. I think that doping is the difference. Now african runners have no doping, and run less fast than european athletes. This is my misgiving. USA and Jamaican (other caraibians, mostly english speaking, very very very very few dutch, french or spanish speaking...) runners are faster than other people in the world. Not blacks or whites. People from certain states only... and in USA we see differences between "race" and sport!!! No more, or not only in the same way, in GB or France, only in USA.
