Out of all 120 teams, here are the FBS (1A)programs that should start 11 whites out of 22 full time positions. I also include a list of "close but no cigar" teams that will likely start 10 whites out of 22. This year I was a little more strict and did not include polynesian or hispanic named people unless I thought they were white for our purposes. There were a few players that I could not find pictures of but who I think are white. I included them as white. Also there were a few whites who were battling with a non-white for a position. I included the white player as if they won the position battle. Some of these errors will be corrected by us/you over the course of the season. Thanks to the men who have helped in this yearly effort:jared, texasheat, and whiteCB.

Please get this info out to white players you know or to their friends and relatives so they can avoid going to a school that won't give them a fair chance.

They haven't been forgotten, we just haven't taken a look at them yet. We will do that soon, I'm sure.

Is the trend turning that their are more whites in college football than a decade ago. I wonder if this is the case. Does any onr really know or could it be that too many brothas are locked up hence drying up the gansta talent pool.

As far as I know, there are fewer whites in college football than 10 years ago. Based on the work I've done over the last 4 seasons, whites are still on the decline overall, although they are gaining ground in some areas.

Also, I wanted to bump this thread for an update.

Thanks Van_Slyke_CF! I appreciate that.

I've updated the original post several times for new info. Be sure to check it for changes, as there have been many.

Despite using more stringent criteria for inclusion into this year's list, and as of September 14, wehavethe same number ofhalf white teamsas in2007.To me this could indicate that nationwide white starters might be becoming more common.

2005 saw us preview 89 FBS teams of which 35 were half white.

2006 was the first year for doing all 119 FBS teams and 36 were half white.

2007 covered all 119 FBS (excluding WKU) teams again and the number of half white teams was 26.

2008 research covered all 120 FBS programs (including WKU) of which 26 were half white, as of September 14.Edited by: Colonel_Reb

Dropped Michigan from the list after re-examining the starters over the first three weeks.

Not sure -- just went by the faces as they introduced the players on TV. The Asian was named Duong and he plays safety.

I see that ESPN now does not show the players on screen but rather lists their names on top.
